)
Era: Next EraFace Claim: Toby HemingwayWell Isn't this a surpriseFamily: Draco Malfoy, 41, Slytherin, Astoria Greengrass, 39, Slytherin, Eris Malfoy, 16 (twin), Slytherin
Personality: Scorpius is hard at work leaving behind the legacy of his family. Sure, his father is proud, unsuspecting. All he sees are the good marks and the spotless record. What he doesn't notice is that his son goes out of his way to make his appearance, his personality, everything, less like his father. Scorpius is a straight-O student; he has developed his love for books, for art, for music. He's even managed to figure out the concept of "friends" which his father never seemed to quite grasp in his school days. The only traces left of Malfoy blood in him are his last name and his prideful streak, which he can't get rid of, and secretly doesn't want to. He is a kind friend, understanding, but somewhere inside hides the superiority of a true Malfoy. Scorpius is much less emotionally cut off than his sister, but the girls in his life have been few and far between. None of them seem to understand the fervor in his need to learn, to outdo even the brightest (like that Rose Weasley).
History: Life is a Malfoy is easy...if you make it that way. While his twin sister, Eris, followed the same strict rules of the Malfoy code, Scorpius was pushed harder and farther. Foreign languages, magical theory, and pureblood culture were all poured upon him from the time he could speak. He was to be the pride and joy of the family, the male heir. He hated it. He actually envied his sister a bit, for the way she seemed to slip in and out of the picture like a wraith; his father never took much notice of her unless her marks fell. Yet Scorpius spent his time smiling wide in family photos, just to wipe off the feel of his father's hand on his shoulder. Something about being a pureblood heir just wasn't right. Scorpius wants to be judged on his own terms, his own merit, and that is what he is doing. Sure, he could have bullied and charmed people into following him, he could have been a Slytherin prince. But what better way to rebel against the Malfoys than to be a good, kind student, and a Ravenclaw prefect at that?
I Never KnewLikes: intelligent conversation, compliments from professors, giving advice, his mother
Dislikes: fiction stories, wasted time, girls that come on too strong
Loaths: his father, his envy for his sister, Rose Weasley (all those high marks!!!)
Loves: drawing, music, history, school, figuring people out
Enjoys: reading by the lake, writing essays for class, sitting on the Astronomy Tower
Hobbies: poetry (but don't tell)
Fears: that he'll become just like his father, bad marks, being married off to a cousin
Secrets: No one knows (except his eerily perceptive mother) about his urge to go against his father's will. And no one knows that, sometimes, he wishes that his sister would have been a boy too, because she's older by three minutes and that would have taken the pressure off his shoulders.
Random Fact: He finds something rather...curious...in the eyes of Vena Riddle. What's going on in that head of hers?
