Personality:
Eva is crazy. If you ask any one of her friends, that is the first thing they will tell you about her. She is a logical person, but her logic rarely makes sense to anyone but her. She has a fantastic memory, but can be a bit absentminded at times. She is usually pretty good-natured, with a quirky personality that attracts people, but she is used to being by herself, and she can get annoyed easily. If you hurt her badly, she will use every ounce of her intellect to scheme up appropriate revenge. She is very honest, and her speech can be very sharp at times. She is a living contradiction, and a very difficult person to form an educated opinion of, although she has people pegged very quickly. However, she is how she is, although it does not make sense. She is a very real person, and that is just the way she rolls.
History:
Eva was born to a muggle mother, Lucille Pennington, and a wizard father, William Pennington. She had no brothers or sisters, and her parents were completely new to the whole "parenting" thing. Her mother was an incredibly sweet, intelligent woman, but she had no concept of how to take care of Eva, and her father wanted nothing to do with the child, putting his work at the Ministry first. Thus, in growing up, Eva was pretty much on her own from an early age. She was an independent child, going wherever she wanted and doing whatever she wanted to do. When she went off to muggle school for the first few years, she had to adjust to other kids being around, which was a strange to her. She was an obnoxious rebellious child going in, but after a few years, she matured, and the teachers realized she was intelligent.
She had no idea that her father was a wizard, and when she got her Hogwarts letter, she was certain that it was a prank. When she mentioned it to her mother, her mother visibly paled, and Eva started to believe otherwise. This was when Eva's father started paying attention to her--he took her to Diagon Alley and Platform 9 3/4 to see her off.
When she learned that she was a Ravenclaw, she was excited, but her father did not mirror her sentiments. She was a disappointment, and it was all her muggle mother's fault. Throughout the years, Eva's father became less and less present in her life, and the summer after fourth year, he left.
I Never KnewLikes: Eva has a wide range of likes. She likes music, both wizarding and muggle, reading, and transfiguration class. Her favorite season is Autumn.
Dislikes: She intensely dislikes rock, considering paper and scissors far superior. Also, she dislikes being smothered and being compared to her father (she is just a bit bitter... just a bit...).
Loathes: Being overwhelmed and confused. She hates feeling weak.
Loves: Sleeping and intellectual conversation.
Enjoys: Sizing people up, trying to analyze their personalities and make sense of the world.
Hobbies: Crocheting. She took it up as a joke, to prove a point, but then she got hooked (pun intended).
Fears: Failure. Being too obvious.
Secrets: She is a closet hopeless romantic.
Random Fact: When she was little, she broke her arm falling off the wall into her neighbor's yard when she was little. She did not tell her parents, but instead ran next door to tell the neighbor, who took her to the hospital.
