was I really seeking good or just seeking attention

"Yeah.." Lyssa agreed. "Maybe we should find someway to undo the bindings..."

Cassie nodded. "Maybe a loose nail or something, or sharp rock."

Lyssa nodded. "Pity it's really hard to see..."

"Yeah" Cassie nodded with a frown.

"Start feeling around I guess..."

With some difficultly Cassie started feeling around for a nail.

After searching for a good while Lyss cried out when her hand scraped something.

"Found something?" Cassie asked her.

"I think so," Lyssa replied. "And I also think my hand is bleeding now..."

"Eck," Cassie said. "Pass it here, and I'll see if I can get the bounds undone somehow.."

"Here, get over here. It's in my hand."

Cassie awkwardly got to Lyss and got the nail out of her hand. "Okay," She said. "Sorry if I hit your skin. As I can't see nor move my hands much."

"I'll live if you do," Lyssa commented back.

So Cassie tried to hack at the binds. After constantly whacking Lyssa, she finally cut the ropes.

Lyssa winced as Cassie finally finished up. But, at least she could pull her arms in front of her now. "Okay, gimme the nail and turn around," she said, acting like it didn't hurt to move her hands and wrists.

Cassie passed her the nails, and turned around.

Since Lyssa could actually move, albeit it was painful, Cassie's binds were cut with minimal damage to Cassie's skin.

"Thanks," Cassie said streching her arms out.

Lyssa nodded, dropping the nail and cradling her hands to her chest.

"Sorry," Cassie said in reference to Lyssa's wrists.

Lyssa looked at her. "Not your fault."

Cassie sighed again, and stood up, although she was exhausted she had pent up energy from sitting in just about the same spot for a day and a bit. She started to pace, running a hand through her hair. "There has to be something we can do," She said, though couldn't think of anything.

Lyssa shrugged. "We accomplished one thing already, at least...."

Cassie nodded, continueing to pace around the room.

"Do you think...that when they come back....they'll tie us up again?"
