was I really seeking good or just seeking attention

Cassie opened her eyes a crack though shut them again, the bright light was dizzying. She heard voices, though they were faint and she couldn't decipher what they were saying.

Eventually someone got the hint and made the lights in the room way dimmer.

Cassie squinted into the room, it was darker now and she could somewhat see.

Lyssa opened her eyes as far as she could without the semi-brightness hurting them and looked around.

Cassie flinched back as a person came into view.

Lyssa watched them, ready to move away if the need arose.

"How are you two feeling?" the person asked.

Cassie said nothing, watching the person warily.

Lyssa also said nothing, but she had gotten to the point where she was afraid to speak.

Cassie's eyes followed the person as she walked across the room, towards the both of them. She pushed back into the wall. Trying to make herself as small as possible. The person frowned softly, biting down on her lip.

Lyssa did the same.

The person left the room, coming back sometime later followed by McGonagall. Whom she thought that the girls might not be so wary about as they knew her.

At the sight of McGonagall, Lyssa relaxed a little, but she was still very on edge, not sure whether to believe it was really her or not.

Cassie eyed McGonagall warily, doubtful that she was seeing the proper McGonagall.

"How are you two feeling?" McGonagall asked.

After a few moments Cassie shrugged, she felt quite a bit better than she had the last time she'd been concious, but still felt pretty awful.

Lyssa still didn't react or say anything.

McGonagall frowned softly at the two girls.

"A-" Lyssa started to say, voice weak and soft from not using it for anything aside from screaming for she didn't know how long. "Are you real?"

McGonagall nodded at Lyssa. "Yes, Miss Malfoy. I am." "Prove it," Cassie said watching her, she coughed, her throat feeling dry.

"How am I meant to prove it, Miss Evans?"

Cassie shrugged at her. "I dunno. Something that only you'd know. Like, the first time you gave me a det, what I'd done. Or," She scrunched up her nose thinking. "I don't know. A certain mark I got on a test or something." She shrugged making a face as she coughed again.

So McGonagall listed some stuff.

Cassie said nothing for a moment, and then nodded.

Lyssa looked over at Cassie, still unsure.

Cassie shrugged at Lyssa, and than got an idea. She turned back to McGonagall. "Change into your animagus form." She said, knowing that while it might have been possible to get the information that Cassie had asked from school records or something of the likes, it would be much harder, or impossible to duplicate the animagus she turned into.
