Personality:
I guess you could say Demi is a pretty steroptypical Gryffindor. She's quite stubborn, though does sometimes know when to stand down. She's caring andloyal to those she cares about, but is very hostile to others. Even just in her tone. The way she talks to you will give you an idea of her opinion of you. She's loud, and if you've done something to offend her. You'll probably hear about it.
History: Demi had a pretty good childhood, having a sibling close enough to the same age as her meant that she just about always had someone to play with. And so she grew up pretty close to her brother, and had someone mostly to talk to when she needed. Though, one year, some person came to their house to talk to their parents. The two of them, ten and just eleven at the time hid behind the door trying to listen to what the person was saying. Most of it flew over their head, magic? What? Cause they had hit the age when they started to stop believing in such things, stopped believing in Santa, and the Easter bunny. Realising that it was really their parents who took their teeth and gave them money. But to then hear that it was real.
The next day however proceeded of Demi yelling the house down, as she didn't get why Jordan had to go off to some weird magic school and she wasn't. And of course, her parents couldn't tell her that next year she would. Because they weren't sure of that. They didn't know whether she would. She got quite sour that year, because she missed her brother, and even though she got owls about every week it wasn't the same. She did find chocolate frogs rather bizarre though.
When they found out that Demi was a witch their parents took it in their stride, neither Demi nor Jordan noticed that they didn't seem awfully happy with this. THey hadn't noticed it the year before either, when Jordan was accepted. While the two of them had nothing against magic, they had never really wanted to send their children to a boarding school. But they couldn't say no, when they had seemed quite excited about it.
