Slytherin Commen Room

Once I had finished my pie I walked towards the commen room. Hoping no-one else was there so I could open my letter in peace. I didn't usually get letters which wasn't surprising. So this letter must be important for some reason or another. To my dismay. Blackridge was in the commen room.

'Well taht's that plan scuppured.' I muttered under my breath.

I was still on the rug, but I was laying down now. In fact I was falling asleep from the heat of the fire I'd made in the fireplace. Fire helped me think better. Unfortunately, fire also put me to sleep.

I curled up more when I heard footsteps, not wanting to be bothered, but at the same time ready to kick anyone too close. I closed my eyes tightered.

I snorted when I saw Blackbridge, curled up on the rug.

'What tired Blackridge?' I asked smirking though slightly annoyed as I had wanted to open my letter to waht it was about.

I just ignored her, pretending to be sleeping. I was quite comfortable any way, so why move?

I may have grumbled a bit, but that was all. I made sure my sketchbook was hidden away from prying eyes before trying to sleep.

I rolled my eyes. "Your going to miss your next class if you sleep through it.' I muttered wonderingif I could chance going up to the dorm to read my letter. I dicided I would. I walked to my 'dorm' and sat on my bed opening my bag to find the letter.

Hmph. Next class? Yeah right. Forget it. I wasn't going. I was too comfy. Slowly, I really did fall asleep.

Vena found the letter slightly crinkled and opened it.

To Venomous Riddle,
I would like to enquir about how far you have gotten in your studies. As I believe that once you are out of school you would make a valuble follow.

Vena snorted as she read the letter. Seriosly? A valuble follower? Yea as if she was going to follow him. She pulled out her wand and set the letter ablaze, right before someone entered the dorm.

The floor had gotten uncomfortable and someone had put my fire out, so I was on my way to my bed. Upon entering the dorm I saw Vena lighting something on fire.

"Whatcha doin?" I asked her.

"Burning something." I replied letting the askes float around the room and set into the floor. I got up and slung my bag over my should after glancing at my timetable.

"oh great herbology. You know I'm gonna skip.' I said sitting back down on my bed.

"Good for you," I said flopping on my bed and flicking some burnt stuff off. "Now,if you don't mind,I'm taking a nap."

"Don't care.' I muttered pulling a quill and paper out of my bag to reply to Tom.
Tom,
I started I could forsee he would be angry with the time bit but I didn't care.
Why does it matter to you? You've contacted me like three time since I started school six years ago, and one was to tell me where the chamber was.
I paused wondering what to write next.

You've never cared about me, so I'm not going to tell you.

Vena Riddle

I folded the letter up and dicided that I'd go to the owlery later. I wondered waht Blackridge thought I was doing. Writing a letter to someione. Then I realized I didn;t care.

Silv was fast asleep when Vena finished her letter, so she didn't care at all. She shifted in her sleep like she was in a nightmare or something. And then she whimpered.

I sighed and got up making my to the owlery hoping I didn't bump into anyone on my way up there.

I woke up from my nightmare to find it was dark. Oh, wait I had burried myself under the cover. I uncovered myself and looked around. I was alone.

I got to the owlery and called one of the brown owls down. Tieing the letter to the owl's leg I watched it fly out the window. Wishing I could fly. I sighed and made my way back down.

I was leaving the dorm, tired of being alone, only to run into someone.

~Later~
I made my way to the common room, feet dragging on the floor. A few new books weighed my bag down more than usual. I opened the door after the password thing to see Vena (Riddle...still sounds weird) with a...letter it seemed.

Shrugging to myself I walked to the dorm, intent on laying in my bed and reading til I fell asleep.

I glanced at the letter and opened it, I knew immeadetly who it was from.

Venomous Riddle,
Well I am supposed to be dead,it would blow my cover. And exactly why wouldn't you want to join my side when their side is treating you so badly.

I snorted again Tom was unbelevable, like he wasn't treating me badly either? I walked inntothe dorm and pulled out a quill and parchment to reply.

I looked up as Vena (I still don't know what to call her) came storming in. She got a quill and parchment. Had that letter she had in the common room area upset her or something?

I figured it wasn't any of my business, so I didn't ask about it. I just repositioned myself on the bed so I was more comfortable, but I knocked a book off in the process. Vena, who seemed not to know I was even in here, looked over at the noise.

I glanced up at Blackridge and continued with my letter scrawing across the page in my neat writing. Once I had finished the letter I sealed it and contemplated on weither sending it now or sending it later.

Vena had seemed to have dropped the letter from before, but didn't seem to notice. It had floated (kinda) across the floor to right by the book that had fallen off my bed. I covered it with the book as I picked it up, curious to know what had her so riled up.

I dicided on the later I'd wait till morning before I sent the letter. I looked around my bed for the letter Tom had sent me put I couldn't find. I knew I hadn't burnt it.

I was reading the letter, using the book cover to cover it and make it look like I was reading the book at the same time. I noticed Vena looking for it, but I would be done reading it in a second anyway. It didn't look all that long.

My eyes widened as I read, though I tried not to let it show so she wouldn't see.

I cursed unable to find the letter.

'Accio Letter.' I muttered the letter flew into my haf fromthe direction of Blackridge. I glanced at her suspiciosly before burning the letter.

I almost jumped out of my skin when the letter suddenly flew through the air to Vena. She looked at me in suspicion, but I didn't let it show on my face that I knew anything about it. She burned, which I guessing she would have done in the first place, only she had forgotten in her haste to reply.

I lay back on my bed, feet hanging off, as I tried to piece together the puzzle that had unraveled before me. I hadn't inherited my mom's smarts for nothing, and it was time to put them to good use.

First there were the obvious things. 1) Voldemort either really was alive, or someone was playing the part of him. 2)The name Riddle.

I just needed to get some more info to get it all, but for now this was enough.
