Potions Class

I walked into Potions, knowing Vena wasn’t going to be in there. It was finally a time where it would be easy to avoid her. It wasn't like I tried to follow her around, we just always happened to be in the same place at the same time. Except that time this morning near the owlery. That time I had followed her, and I kinda regret that…Ow…

I looked up as the teacher came in and started taking role. Vena had never showed, meaning she was skipping, but I didn't really blame her. Potions was a super easy class. I just came to watch the idiots blow stuff up.

I watched the rain poar down wondering if I should go to potions or not. I wasn't sure. But I was getting cold even with the repeditive drying myself off. I stood up and ran towards the castle forgetting compleatly about the umbrella. Once I was inside I dried myself off again and sighed. Making sure it was all dry and walked towards potions class. I didn't know why. Potions was boring. Always had been, but it was better then doing nothing.

I entered the class room and took my usual seat at the back.

"Miss Riddle would you care to explain why you are so late?' The teacher asked.

"No." I replied.

I was yawning when Vena walked in. If she were being smart she would have just stayed away. I could tell today was going to be more boring than usual. The professor stood in front of the class, ready to give us instructions on what we were doing. "Today," they started, "we'll be starting a long term project. This project will take roughly a month to complete."

The teacher stopped and one of the girls in the class raised her hand. "What are we doing?"

"Today we're going to start on a difficult potion. We're going to attempt to make Veritaserum."

There a small collective rise of noise when that was said. I yawned again. Really…. he expected these idiots to be able to pull that off? "And since this is a high level potion I'm partnering you up."

I grinned, Veritaserim. That would be fun. I groaned when he said partners I had a small ingkilng that I was going to be put with Blackridge. When the teacher said. "Riddle,Blackridge." I sighedand walked over.

"The make Riddle and Blackridge misreable society is at it again." I grumbled annoyed, the only good thing about this day was the potion that we about to brew.

I scowled. Why the hell was it always us?!?! I was really beginning to think the society to make us miserable was real. "Why is it always us. This is going to end badly I just know it," I muttered.

I was happy about the potion. It was one of the few I had never made before, though I had read a bit about it. However, I was not so happy with the person I had to make it with. This was gonna be one hell of an experience.

I smiled. "Who knows. The teachers are most likey ploting something. So shall we get to work?" I asked pulling out my potions book. I wondered how the rest of the class would end up. Theyd most likely posion someone.

"Yeah, sure work…. What do you think they could be plotting?" I asked, distracted by it slightly. I tapped my fingers on the desk, wondering.

I found the potion and got out the ingredients we needed for the first few lines.

I shruged, "I have no clue but I can tell they are down on their supply of Veritaserum and they want more, cause if we had been pared with any other brainless morons in this class they wouldn't even get a batch.'

"Why would the teachers even need Veritaserum though, or anyone besides Aurors for that matter?" I asked.

Nowadays, nothing was adding up and I felt confused for one of the first times in my life. I didn't like the feeling either.

I shruged, "Havn't got a clue, but who knows they might, we don't know how their brain works.' I fiddled with the potion and we started working on it making sure everything was right and doing it at the perfect time.
