Personality: Hikaru is level-headed and calm. He's the quiet type of guy who keeps his nose out of other people's business and is more likely to have it in a book, reading to his heart's content. He is a rather studious boy, who cares about his marks and will do anything to raise them to meet his own personal expectations of himself. And all he really wants is to make his parents proud of his abilities, even if they aren't magical themselves.
History: Hikaru is of Japanese decent as can be determined from his name. He had a normal childhood. His parents both being only children like himself, he has no aunts, uncles, or cousins. His grandparents on both sides were all deceased by the time he was 4, so he never knew them well. Hikaru was born and raised in Nagoya, Japan, but his family moved to England when he was 9. His grasp of the English language is better than that of his parents, but they all get it enough to get by in life.
