Personality: She is a mostly shy person until she gets to know someone, although she's also working on getting better with talking to people she doesn't know too well. And even when she's around people she does know she can get quiet and shy. She sometimes has a short temper and doesn't really think things through when she's angry at someone, but almost immediately after feels bad about what she did. Laci is also very unsure of herself most times, and second-guesses pretty much everything she does, which isn't always a good thing. Her insecurities lead her to doubting her intelligence and her reason for having been chosen for Ravenclaw and also her standing amongst her friends. Criticism doesn't suit well with her and she usually takes it to heart, and lets it bug her more than it should really. Most of the time, though, she tries to hide all of this about herself and instead acts sarcastic and somewhat outgoing, so that no one ever notices. Oh, and she's a huge klutz, falling at least once a day much to her embarrassment and disappointment.
History: Laci grew up with just her mum in a small-ish town on the outskirts of a larger one somewhere in England. She didn't know her dad when she was little, and after her mum told her why he wasn't around she didn't want to know him. Then one day when she was about 5 he showed up and she thought maybe they could be somewhat a proper family, even if her parents weren't together, but another couple of years changed that idea quickly. But she was just fine with that, as her dad wasn't all that great of a guy anyway. She was rather independent as a child, learning many a thing from her grandmother. Throughout her childhood Laci ended up getting injured several times, including a broken bone once. And even later on at school she managed to keep getting hurt, some times on a daily basis. She has no general opinion on the whole Muggle thing, never having really been around them, and saying she'd rather get to know them before she decided what she thought, and thusly doesn't hold that against the Muggleborn students of Hogwarts.
