Bye Dad," Kasey said hugging her father on the platform and turned to find her case sitting next to her. Out of the corner of her eye Kase saw Tom Riddle entering the train and giving his suitcase to some second year Slytherin kid who had appeared out of nowhere. Kase made a slight face at him, she didn't really like Tom Riddle. Or 'Voldemort' as he wanted to be called. Like seriously Voldemort? What the heck? But Kase had semi joined his group though only to help herself and she did find it amusing to muddle up his plans anyway.

"Bye Kasey," Her Dad said and followed where she was looking. He made a noise that sounded to Kase like a snort. "Pay attension to that Riddle kid," He told her. "I can see trouble coming." Kase nodded and didn't question how her dad saw trouble coming. She'd long since learnt that he just 'knew' when trouble was coming. Annoying when she was a kid because he'd catch her in her plans before she could actually start them.

Mal pushed her short bangs from her eyes as she and Marcus walked onto the train platform. "Mark, I'm 16, I don't need you to bring me to the train. I can get here on my own," she was complaining to him. Marcus merely shook his head at her. "I don't care, Mal. Mum and Dad would never forgive me if anything happened to you while you were in London alone." Mallory frowned at him, as the trains' whistle blew. "Gotta go," she said, giving Marcus a hug and walking onto the train.

Kase walked down the train until she found an empty compartment. Putting her case near the window she sat down looking out at the station, parents were bustling about and waving to their children. Students were racing towards the train, ducking around people and running over their feet with their suitcases.

Mallory walked down the train's corridor, looking either for a familiar face she could tolerate, or an empty place to sit. She walked for a couple minutes until she stumbled upon a compartment with Kasey in it. "Hi," she said walking in. Kasey was one of the few people Mal tolerated and maybe even considered a friend.

"Morning," Kase said with a slight yawn even if it was eleven. She wasused to waking up late and hadn't gotten her body used to early starts so was slightly tired.

"Don't you look wide awake," Mallory commented when Kasey yawned, nearly yawning herself from it. "Mind if I sit here?" she asked, raising her eyebrow at the other girl, almost in such a way that said no wasn't an answer choice.

"Course not," Kase said to her. She gestured to the seat oposite her.

Mallory walked in the compartment and sat down without a word, looking out the window on the train at the passing scenery.

Kase yawned and shook her headto get her hair out from behind her ears. It probably would have been quicker and more effective to use her hands but she didn't really want to.

Mallory kept looking out the window, twirling her hair around her finger, somewhat bored. She wasn't big on talking though, so didn't try to initiate a conversation.

Kase leaned back on the train seat as the train pulled out of the station, speeding across the country side. It would be nice to be getting back to Hogwarts. Kase liked being at Hogwarts. Though she prefered being home to being at the castle.
