Lyssa just nodded, things finally completely sinking in. Draco, her brother, her twin, was dead. Sudden tears finally came to their rightful place in her eyes. She held them back though, not liking to cry in front of people.

"Lyssa," Cassie said. "It's alright to cry."

Lyssa shook her head. "I don't like to."

"You'll feel better," Cassie told her.

Lyssa shook her head again. "No I won't."

"You will, not completly better but you'll feel slightly better. I know the feeling though you would be feeling worse then I felt." She was thinking both about Draco and her aunt who had died the previous year.

"I can't, Cassie. I can't cry in front of other people. It makes me feel vulnerable, and I hate that."

Cassie shrugged and stood up. "You know where I am if you want me I suppose."

Lyssa just nodded at her.

Cassie went back to Audentia and shut herself up in her room.

Lyssa made her way to her room where she fell back on the bed, buried her face in her pillow, and cried for a long while. She suddenly felt as if half of her was missing.

Cassie went back to Lyssa's place a few days later. "You okay?" She asked her freind as she entered the house.

Lyssa shook her head. "Not really."

Cassie frowned sadly and shut the door behind her.

Lyssa was still feeling miserable, and she was still crying at the most random times. But what could anyone expect?

Cassie didn't say anything, though she did go intothe kitchen and make them them both some tea. She gave Lyssa's hers and sat down on one of the couches.

Lyssa had curled up against a couch arm while Cassie was getting the tea. She took her cup and set it on the table next to the couch. "Cassie," she said, a slight tearful waver in her voice, "when does it stop hurting so much?"

Cassie sighed softly wishingthat everything would just get better. "I don't know Lyss, it takes time depending on who it was," She frowned and wanted very much to go and give the Death Eater who had killed Draco a bit of her mind,

Lyssa wiped the back of her hand across her eyes. So much for not crying in front of people. She had a feeling she was going to anyway. "Twins aren't meant to be without one another," she whispered.

"I can imagine," Cassie said softly and thought about the Weasley twins for a moment.

"No, actually you can't imagine, as you aren't a twin," Lyssa muttered. A tear ran down her cheek, followed by another one on the other side. She quickly wiped them away.

Cassie didn't say anything but she could imagine what would it be like to lose a twin. In a way it kind of reminded her of how Cassie had felt after Lyssa had left, she supposed the person dying was worse then being betrayed, Cassie put her tea on the table and stepped over hugging her freind. "It'll be alright." She said half soothingly.

Lyssa started to half-cry on Cassie's shoulder as the other girl hugged her. "It hurts, Cassie. It really, really does. I feel like...like this huge part of me is missing...and I can't find it to put it back in place," Lyssa whispered.

Cassie was still hugging her. "I know. I know." Cassie was on the verge of tears herself. "We just need to keep fighting I suppose there's nothing we really can do."

"It's hard to keep fighting, when all I want to do is just give up," Lyssa muttered, tears falling freely now. "This war...has already cost me so much...I can't...I don't think I could bare to lose anything else..."
