After this, Lyssa was only vaguely aware of what was going on. She heard talking she thought, but was too tired to focus in on any of it.

They tried to negoatiate and fail, the next idea failed as well. The Order tried to grab Lyss and in the confusion of it all Voldemort grabbed Lyssa. "Stop," He said. "Or she dies." And to emphasize his point he held his wand at her throat. "Leave her alone." Cassie snarled at him, her tone full of venom.

By now, even as tired as she was feeling, Lyssa managed to deduce what was going on; she could feel the wand that was pointed at her after all. "Lemmego," she mumbled to Voldemort through her illness-induced exhaustion.

"Let her go," Cassie snarled again looking worryingly at her best friend. "And why should I do that?" Voldemort asked in a bored tone. "Cause if you let her go I'll go with you." Cassie said softly ignored the outcry of the Order.

Lyssa understood that much. With as much energy as she could muster, she lifted her head to look at Cassie. She mouthed a 'no' to the other girl, not having the energy to say anything verbally. Then she coughed.

"Cassie," McGonagall said. "No," Cassie said not looking away from Lyssa. "She's sick and it's just going to get worse." Voldemort nodded looking at the Gryffindor. "Fine." The next thing happened very quickly, a Death Eater grabbed Cassie and the Death Eaters and Voldemort holding Lyssa disaperated leaving a very stunned and annoyed Order standing there.

They all Apparated back to the Manor, where the two girls were prompty put in the cellar. There, Lyssa's very light, but incessant shivering, just got worse, as the cellar was cold. She coughed, it sounded a little worse than the ones before it had.

Cassie growled under her breath and frowned looking at her freind. She pulled on the bounds on her wrists wishing that they would just magically come undone. She also wantedto give Lyssa her jumper as the other girl didn't look particularly well and was still shivering. Cassie frowned wondering what Lyssa had, it was more then a cold now. She sighed wondering why she hadn't studied Muggle sicknesses as well as Magical because while she wouldn't be able to do anything she'd at least know what Lyssa had.

Lyssa's closed eyes opened minisculy to look at Cassie for a second. "Idiot," she mumbled extremely softly, then closed her eyes again, too much effort to keep them completely open.

"I know," Cassie sighed worryingly. She was afraid that whatever Lyssa had would just get worse and become fatal.

The two lapsed into silence and then slowly from exhaustion, Lyssa fell asleep.

Cassie just sat there. Hopeing that Lyssa wouldn't get any worse and wondering how the hell they were going to get out of their current prediciment.

A few days went by, and unfortunately, Lyssa's cough progressively got worse, but that seems to be all that was changing.

Cassie was getting more and more worried about Lyssa, her cough did not sound good and she had the feeling that if Lyssa didn't get medical help soon it was just going to get worse.

Lyssa coughed, wincing as the action made her chest hurt. She felt miserable and was just getting worse. After a few days something had settled into her mind; what if this killed her? "Cass..." she said as loudly as her voice would manage, to get the other girl's attention. It was little more than a loud whisper.

Cassie turned to looked at her freind. "What?" She asked her biting the edg eof her lip.

"What's...what's going to happen...if no one helps us...if this just keeps getting worse...?" Lyssa whispered out.

"I," Cassie said with a frown. "I don't know." She said wanting to bash her head against the wall. She didn't want it get worse, because it might turn fatal and that was the last thing Cassie wanted.

Lyssa just coughed in response. When she stopped, she was shaking more than she had been before, since the coughing had left her feeling breathless.

(Narcissa can come now???)

Sometime later that night the cellar door opened revealing Narcissa. She flicked her wand, unbinding both her hands and then helped Lyssa to her feet. Cassie stood up glancing anxiosuly at Lyssa.

"Mum?" Lyssa said sfotly as soon as she'd seen it was Narcissa.

"Come on," Narcissa's voice was gentle. They got out of the Manor without any mishaps.

They also got out of the wards and to some place safe.

"We need to get her someplace where she can get medical help." Cassie said to Narcissa.

Narcissa nodded, frowning as Lyssa coughed. "Do you think the Order could help?" she asked. "That would probably be the safest place for you two to go."
