"Cowards," She snarled, her desperation having turned into fury.

Having had enough of that, Lilith flicked her wand and a second later Lyssa found herself forced to her feet.

Cassie's eyes flickered from Lyssa to the Death Eater. She scowled feircly. "Let. Her. Go."

Lilith faked considering it for a moment before saying, "I don't think so. You've made me angry, and so now I'm going to show you what suffering is, using your friend for the example."

Cassie got to her feet but Regan flicked her wand, stopping her from moving any closer to either or them or Lyssa. Cassie glared at the both of them.

Lyssa, who still had some movement of her own, took several steps back to that her back of touching the wall, trying to create as much distance as she could. This, however, proved to be a mistake as she heard a sound and in the next moment found herself wrenched to the tips of her toes, arms stretched up above her and held in place my some shackle type objects that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Although, she figured their existence shouldn't have surprised her, since the manor was centuries old and her ancestors had been some really twisted people.

Cassie's eyes widened at the sight of the shackles. She wondered what sort of crazy people Lyssa's ancestors had been. "Leave her alone," Cassie snarled again looking worryingly at Lyssa.

Lilith studied Lyssa for a moment, smug look on her face. Then her glance turned to Cassie. Waving her wand with a flourish, she produced yet another set of shackles, except this was one was singular and fit around Cassie's ankle. Then she gave the girl movement back. The chain would suffice in keeping her from interfering, but Lilith wanted to watch her squirm and try to get free of it.

Cassie pulled on her ankle, scowling darkly as she tried to free her foot. Which she knew from the word go wouldn't work but she was going to try anyway.

After watching Cassie for a moment, Lils looked back at Lyssa would looked scared out of her wits, quite unable to really move. She sliced her wand through the air and a split second later there was a rather long, painful looking gash across Lyssa abdomen. The girl clenched her teeth together to stop herself from crying out, but some of her cry was still audible.

Cassie's eyes widened and she yelled a torrent of words that all jumbled together and made no sense. She pulled harder on her foot, wanting to either go to Lyssa or launch herself at the DeathEater.

Lils did the same movement several more times and by the end of it there were many gashes and cuts all over Lyssa. Once she was satisfied, Lilith froze Cassie back in place and she and Reg made to leave. Just before she was out the door, Lils undid Cassie ankle and unfroze her, slipping out a second later and locked the door behind her.

Cassie hurried over to Lyssa, still scowling darkly. "Sorry sorry sorry," She said biting down on her finger.

"Don't," Lyssa said as forcefully as possible, voice sounding pained and strained. "Don't apologize." Then she slowly lifted her head, which had been hanging down, to look at Cassie.

"But if I hadn't shouted you wouldn't be in this state," She said quietly.

"I'm just fine," Lyssa said, giving Cassie a smile. "Promise."

"But you're not," Cassie said shaking her head. "m'sorry."

"I told you already: don't apologize," Lyssa said. "It's as much your fault as it is mine. I could have at least tried to stop you..."

Cassie ran her hand hand through her hair. Chewing on her lip.

"Cass..." Lyssa muttered, giving up on saying things were fine. "It hurts. It really does, and I want to lay down..."

Cassie chewed on her lip, running her hand through her hair. "I wish I could do something," She said looking at her freind.

"Maybe...they'll come back soon," Lyss said, trying to sound hopefully, but failing.

"Maybe," Cassie said but thinking her sister had the same chance of becoming a witch as Lyssa had of being released in the next few hours.

"Well, I mean....they have to..." Lyssa kept going. "Because...otherwise...with as badly as I'm still bleeding....I could die....or something...."

"Lyssa, not to sound blunt, but I really don't think they care if you do.." Cassie said softly.
