"I could use my shirt I suppose.."

"N-no, don't use your shirt."

"Uhm, raise it above your head, and you could press against it with your hand," Cassie chewed on her lip. "I should take a muggle first aid course if I ever get out of here."

"Wait...I'm wearing two shirts," Lyssa muttered, moving to take off her top layer -the one that hid her faded Mark- and wrapping it around her arm.

"No here, give it to me," Cassie said taking the shirt off of her. "Easier if it was in strips but anyway. She folded it in half and then wrapped it around the arm, pulling it tightly and folded the end under a layer. "Still try and keep it up above your heart though. Cause the blood will pump easier to it if it's under it. So by raising it, it's making it just that bit harder so not as much blood has the chance of coming out."

"Thanks, Cass."

"That should stop it soon," Cassie said frowning. "Bugger it all."

Lyssa curled up on her side.

Cassie pulled her knees up into her chest.

"You shouldn't be here. You shouldn't you shouldn't you shouldn't..."

"Don't beat yourself up about it Lyss," Cassie said softly.

"Not happening."

Cassie sighed. "Lyss, it's- just. I dunno."

"Let me feel bad about this, okay."

"No, it won't help anything. it'll just make things worse."

"Oh well."

"It's a little late for that."

Cass sighed.

She shrugged.

"What...what do you think she's going to do....?"

"I don't know," Cassie shuddered.
