"Most people don't, Will."

"I can't even imagine how much that would hurt. It seems foreign."

"It sucks. Trust me."

"I'm sorry. I feel bad now."

"Don't feel bad."

"You sure?"

"Quite sure."

"Okay," Will says. "So, what is the plan? You usually have those."

"I also usually have time to figure them out. I've had no time, I have no plan."

"We can come up with a plan now, if you'd like?"

"Sure. That works."

"Okay. Obviously we're waiting. How long?"

"I dunno." Izzy shrugged. "However long seems appropriate, I guess."

"Cal takes a lot longer than me to get over things."

"I know this. I didn't say we had to wait for him to be completely over it all. Just that it had to be an appropriate amount of time."

"How long is appropriate for this kind of thing, generally? Is a week long enough?"

"A week would make you look less dickish, but two would be better."

"Two weeks? That's so long," Will said, grinning slightly. "But you're probably right."

"That's not long at all!" Izzy rolled her eyes at him. "You are beyond hopeless."

"I am not!" Will insisted. "I'm just used to things moving quickly. A month is ages for me, so two weeks is half of ages."

"How the hell can anything be half of ages, you nitwit? That's not even possible. Ages doesn't have a definite length." Izzy laughed as she spoke.

"Says who?" Will said, poking her. "I think they can! It makes perfect sense."

"You're a nitwit."

"I am not. I do perfectly well in all my classes, thank you very much."

"Not as good as me," Isabelle said with a grin.
