DADA Classroom

I literally gawked at her. "Show-off," I managed to say upon recomposing my usual demeanor. Her satisfied, smug smirk wasn't helping matters either.

I scowled off into a corner as we were released. All I wanted to do was get a solid blow at her and listen to the crack as it broke. The time for trying to get along, and the time for using spells was gone.

It was time to be better than her for once. No matter what.

I smirked at Blackridges look of annoyance. It was sureley worth getting into trouble to get to do that. And anyway we didn't get into much trouble either. Harry just nodded and let us go not really caring. The bell rang shortly after.

'your homework tonight is to practice nonverbals. See you in class tomorrow,' I picked up my books and shoved my wand in my pocket in a slightly cheerful mood. I had no homework had outsmarted Blackridge again and hadnt gotten severly told off.

I gathered my things as the bell rang. On my way out I muttered, "This is the first and last I'm coming to this class, ever."

Then I walked and done the crowded halls as slow as I could. I had nowhere important to go anyways.

I made my way towards the great hall for some lunch. I hadn't eaten since breakfast and I was hungry even if it was only lunch. I sat down and grabbed a pie as I noticed a bark brown owl swooping down and dropping a letter in front of her. Odd...A Letter..? for her? Vena glanced at the envolope.

Venomous Riddle

She sighed shoved the letter into her bag to open later and ate her pie.

I wasn't that hungry so I went to the common room instead. Besides, I needed to make my first plan to beat Vena.

I threw bag down and settled on the rug on the floor. I opened it and took out my sketch book. Inside, I began to draw up plans.

Harry was making sure everyone was here when he got to Blackbridge he stopped.

'Has anyone seen her today?' He asked.

'She was in the dorm this morning.' A Slytherin sixth year girl said.

He nodded. "Miss Riddle can you cheak to see if she's still in there?' Knowing itwould do no use to argue I made my way towards the Slytherin commen room wondering how Blackridge would react.

I laid on my bed, on my side (which I hated doing) reading a thick novel. It was predictable, but at least it was something to do til my second class. I looked up when I heard the door open. Who would be here during class time?

I steped tentavily into the room.

"Professor Potter wants you to come to class.' I said wondering why I had been giventhe job.

"I'm not going to class," I said, calmly, which surprised me. "My back hurts too much."

I rolled my eyes. "Then go to the nurse." I said.

"I'm not bothering her over something I can deal with myself. And, because she would ask how it happened," I explained, hoping she wouldn't make me elaborate more.

"Yea cause you seem to be doing a fine job of it.' I said sarcaticly.

"I'm trying to avoid putting unnecessary pressure on the bruises," I said. "It's not hard to do."

I shruged. "Well fine then I'll tell him your skipping.' I said starting to walk out of the roon.

"Go ahead," I said. "Hate that class anyway."

"Its a hell of alot more interesting then standing here listening to you whine. ' I muttered under my breath.

"What was that?" I asked, knowing well enough she wouldn't tell me anything.

"doesn't matter.' I replied walking back to DADA.

'She say's she's not coming,'

'Why?' HArry asked

"Dunno.' I replied sitting back down in my seat.

'Ok. I'll go see...We're doing the same as y es terday...so.' He walked out of the classroom.

I looked up as the door opened again. I expected Vena, but instead saw a teacher I didn't know. "Yes?" I asked.

"Professor Potter needs to see you outside the common room," she said.

I scowled. Why the hell had he come all the way here himself?

Sighing, I got up as carefully as I could to go see, knowing he wouldn't leave until I did.

I sighed and flicked my wanf practicing nunverbal contations not that I needed to practice. I sighed and threw my wand up into the air and watched it spiral back down gracefully.

I walked out of my warm, cozy dorm to see Potter. When I was close enough I asked, "What?"

I sighed bored. I help my wand like a dart and threw it across the room. Which had to be the stupidest thing I had ever done. To my complealt and utter surprise it twisted round and came back at me. It stopped right in front of me hovering in mid air for me to grab. I did it again and it came right back. Odd. I thought

Potter looked at me sternly. "Why aren't you in class?"

"My back hurts."

"What happened?"

"You don't really need to know."

I threw my wand again, it narrowly missed someone's ear. I liked the boomerang effect to it. It was off but useful.

Harry continued pesistantly asking question, to which I gave short sarcastic answers. Eventually, he became fed up with them and stopped. "Are you done?" I asked. "I'd like to lay back down."

"Go ahead," he replied. "Consider this a warning. Any more skipping and you get detention."

I waved at him over my shoulder and walked back up to my bed.
