Cassie and Lyssa Alternitive ending x4 for Alternitive ending 4 (Jeez)

The next year and so passed quickly (for me at least), school had ended (I passed most my N.E.W.Ts) and I was studying to become a Med-witch while still visiting Lyssa when I could, McGonagall had been endlessly trying to get Lyssa out of Askaban, if only Dumbledore was here...he could have done it, he could have stopped her getting thrown in in the first place. But there was no point thinking of the could haves and what ifs. Sitting in my small apartment one day, I heard a knock at the door wondering who it was. I didn't really get many visitors with the exeption of Draco randomly popping in to talk, I think he was still stressed about Lyssa and Lucius getting thrown into Askaban a few months later really didn't help, but it couldn't have been him as he'd been here yesterday. Putting my cup down and I answered the door. "McGonagall," I exclaimed once I'd opened it, I opened it furthur to let her in.

Time has crept along ever so slowly, even with the visits from Cassie every so often. One day I was laying back looking at the ceiling, just thinking about things when I heard a voice I hadn't in a long time, "Miss Malfoy." I looked over at Professor McGonagall, vaguely recalling Cassie having said something about her working to…"Professor…you…" She nodded at me. "Let's get you out of here and fixed up a bit, then Miss Evans is in for a surprise." I stared at her for a moment. "You haven't told her?!" McGonagall shook her head. "You have a death wish…" I muttered shaking my head. A bit later, after some things were done here and there, and my hair was back at the proper shoulder length rather than halfway down my back, we were standing outside a door. McGonagall knocked on it and a moment later it open to reveal Cassie. "McGonagall," she said, then opened the door wider. Her eyes went wide upon seeing me and I felt a small smile creep onto my face. "Hey…" I said softly.

Once I opened the door I noticed Lyssa was standing next to McGonagall, "Merlin," I exclaimed my eyes going wide, before I half tackled half hugged her. "I may need to sit down now..." I said realesing her, "Would you like to come in before I faint from shock?" I let both Lyssa and Mcgonagall into the small kitchen and sat down on a chair. "Want something to drink? Water? Tea? Coffee? What ever else I have in the fridge?" I got up again and picked up my cup from before draining the contence.

I nearly found myself falling over when Cassie tackle-hugged me. I would have hugged her back…if she hadn't successfully pinned my arms to my sides when she hugged me. She looked like she was in major shock I noticed once she had released me. We all went in the apartment and into the kitchen, where we all sat down. "Cassie," I said as she started to sound rather spastic, "sit. Before you break or damage something or yourself for that matter. That would be rather tragic."

"Yeah ok," I muttered filling up my glass again and sitting down at my table, I noticed my hands were shaking, "Why did you see fit to scare the hell out of me?" I asked McGonagall who was smiling, I shook my head at her and took a shacky drink out of my cup running a hand through my hair. "Have you seen Draco yet? Cause I'd love to be there when you scare the hell out of him," I grinned wickedly. "He was around here yesterday actaully...." I said placing my cup back down on the table.

"I did vaguely mention to her that scaring the hell out of you was a bad idea," I pointed out, yawning. "And, Merlin, I really don't want to see Draco's reaction just yet. Yours was tiring enough." I looked at her confused, or well tiredly confused. "Why was Draco here?"

I finished my second drink and placed the cup in the sink, "He visits sometimes," I said with a shrugg. What I'd realized once you were out of school is that house compititions really didn't matter that much, I'd met and talked to a few people from other houses since leaving school and actually if there hadn't been the rivally between the houses and all that a few of them I could have been freinds with. A few maybe not but anyway. "It's nice though, except for the time Harry and Ginny dicided to drop in at the same time...that really didn't end well..." I said with a slight grimance. "But you know Harry,"

"Yeah..suppose..." I muttered. I yawned again, looking at the clock. It was only like 2 in the afternoon why the hell was I yawning? But then I guessed it was because I had honestly done more today than I had in at least a year. "So…how's the scaring the hell out of Draco going to go?"

I looked at Lyssa who was yawning. Alot. "Why don't we wait until you've rested then I can invite him over and scare the hell out of him?" I asked. "I have a spare room, not very big but none of these rooms are," I shrugged and lead Lyssa to the spare room, "I'll be in the kitchen or in the room oposite if you need me." I walked back to the Kitchen to where Mcgonagall was. "Thank you," I told her, she smiled. "It's ok, I did what I could, now I must be getting back to Hogwarts, I may drop in later tomorrow to see how Miss Malfoy is," I nodded and showed her to the door shutting it behind her.

"Hm…resting sounds good," I muttered. I followed her to the spare room and nodded as she said where she'd be, then I walked to the bed in the room and lay down not even bothering to do anything else, too tired to really care. Faster than I had ever in my life, I fell asleep.

Cassie went back into the kitchen and started to clean up, there wasn't much mess but she had to put my lunch stuff away as she had left it all out, "Stupid dishwater," She muttered growling at the stupid thing, it had stuffed (again) Cassie prefered not to use magic when she could help it and went around doing alot of things the muggle way, Which Draco had found highly amusing. "Repearo" She said waving her wand atthe hunk of metal, she wasn't going to pay to get it fixed so may as well fix it herself. A sharp bring called her out of her thoughts and she picked up the phone she had bought to stay in touch with her non magically family. "Hello?" "Hey Cassie," "Oh hey Liz," They asked the usual how are you? How've you been? Questions, there wasn't really much to say but Lizzie called every week so that they could stay in touch. She yawned puttingthe phone down and looked at the clock.

I woke up a few hours later, if the clock on the small table by the bed was correct. Stretching my arms over my head, and thusly smacking them on the wall, I sat up. I was still a little tired, but eh, I was more eager to see Draco than to sleep more. I got up, wiping some sleep from my eyes, and walked to the kitchen, where it seemed Cassie was. "Hullo," I said, sleepily still.

Cassie wasted the time till Lyssa woke reading one of her many books, when Lyssa came into the room she looked marginally better but not fabulously. "Want me to call Draco now?" I asked her as she sat down at the table, she looked pale, well paler then usual. I yawned slightly although not really tired.

"You can I suppose…" I said as I sat down. I really did want to see him, but at the same time I didn't want to see his reaction, or deal with any pestering questions and concerns I'm sure he would have. I was actually still somewhat tired, but sleep was escaping me at the moment. I ran my hand through my hair.

"K," Cassie smiled and walked over to the fireplace, taking a handful of floo powder she threw it into the flame. "Malfoy Mannor," I said then put my head in. "Draco?" I said making a face at the uncormfortablility of the floor. "What?" A voice asked as Draco came into the room. "Can you come over please?" "Why?" "Just come." "Fine," He sounded irritated at being told what to do but he'd have to live with it. I withdrew my head of the fire to hear a knock at the door, I smiled slightly at Lyss. "Well this well be fun"

I gave her a weary look. "Not even sarcastically does that sentence work…" I said. "You've put him in a mood." She went to get the door and I heard a sharp, "What?" from Draco as greeting. Shaking my head at his attitude I got up from the chair I was sitting in and walked to where they were. "Draco, really, must you be so rude?" I said, looking at him.

I smiled and walked to the door. "What?" Draco snapped, I snickered slightly and he glowered at me, then looked behind me shoulder froze with a puzzled expression, "Please tell me this is a dream cause as far as I've heard it's impossible to break people out of Askaban and its a death penelty..." I rolled my eyes at him and closed the door behind him. "I didn'[t break her out, would have loved too though, but no McGonagall finially pulled the right strings," Draco stared in disbelif that realising his sister was actaully there not just a hulucination, he walked briskly (because appearently Malfoy's never run) and hugged her.

"I do quite like strings…" I muttered to myself right as Draco hugged me, way tighter than Cassie had, causing me to stumble just a little when he let go. "Ok," I said, steadying myself on my feet. "Now that the hugging and the shocking the hell out of Draco is done, can we just go back to sitting before talking any? I'm still kinda tired… And if I'm not mistaken there are two chairs and a couch in the living room (how is beyond me). I call couch."

I rolled my eyes. "I call chair closest to the back of the room," We walked to the sitting room and I entered first Lyssa and Draco following me, the room was pretty small but It didn't bother me as people didn't usual come over much and I didn't really use the room often. Had no real use for it but it came with the house. "You should extend the house using magic you know," Draco said. "No point, I live on my own so I don't need it any bigger and anyway you know me, I prefer using magic when I dont need to use it," He rolled his eyes.

Upon entering the room I sat and lay back on the couch. "Stop bickering you two…" I said, frowning at them. "Or I'll forced to get back up and intervene and really…don’t' make me. I'm tired. Just…talk civilly or something." I mentally smiled when they stopped, wondering just how much more I could get them to do for me…

"I dont think talking civially is something Draco is capable off," I snickered then stopped talking at a look from Lyssa who looked as if she was going to bite my head off, "Ok so whats on the agenda to talk about first? Cause Im out of ideas"

"No clue," I mumbled closing my eyes, "although I'm slightly surprised neither of you have started pestering me with questions about how I am, mostly you, Draco." I looked over at him. He was scowling, probably from Cassie's comment, but he hadn't said anything about it.

"There's only so many times you can ask How are you?" I muttered. "And there aren't many other questions to ask, but how are you?" I pushed my hair behind my ears and curled my legs under the rest of me. "You know this chair is quite comfy should use it more often." I stiffled a yawn.

I reclosed my eyes and sighed. "You have an honest point," I agreed with a slight yawn, "but the thing is you don’t know how I am at all, as you haven't even asked once, and that concerns me, since I really don't care talking about it all one way or another if that's what you're worried about, and it makes it seem like you don’t really care either way by not asking…" I shrugged, and got more comfortable on the couch with a slight yawn.

"I didn't ask?" I frowned at myself. "Really? That's weird...maybe it's because I got used to not asking you in Askaban cause it's a stupid thing to ask when you were obviously not ok then..." I trailed off. "That it just didn't occur to me to ask how you were now?" I bit my lip.
