Cassie and Lyssa Alternate Ending 1

I frowned as Cassie ranted at me about not killing people. My eyes flickered over to the Death Eater coming up behind her, brow furrowing. It seemed as if he was about to interupt my duel. Oh well. I decided to let him. It was boring anyway. All she was doing was try to stun me and there was no fun in that.

I felt a searing pain across my shoulder and I hit the ground (again) painful. I was losing blood and bloody quickly at that.

I winced biting down on my lip.

My wand dropped out of my hand and I just lay there lying on my side.

I felt my eyes go wide, and for a second I couldn't breath. Why the hell had I just stood there? My legs moved on my own and soon I there, kneeling down beside her. "Cassie?" I said, voice coming out in a choked whisper, as I still couldn't breath properly. Hyperventalating and all that. "I'm sorry. Dammit. I'm so sorry." I pulled her up and into my arms, hugging her, tears coming to my eyes. I knew what the Death Eater had used, and I knew I couldn't fix it.

"I never gave up on you, I don't think I ever would have. I still trust you with my soul, I love you Lyss." I whispered, the room was going darker and darker everything going out of focus, I couldn't keep my eyes on one thing couldn't keep anything it my sight. "I love you." The darkness envoloped me and I lost my hold on life.

"Cassie?" I whispered in a panicky voice when her eyes seemed to be havnig trouble staying focused. My throat clench when she talked, her words making the tears I was holding back spill. My lip quivered. "Cassie, please. Don't do this to me. Cassandra Liz Evans! Don't! Dammit, you're not allowed to die on me! I need you. Please," my voice had dropped to a whisper. Then I pulled her closer to me and just cried.
