"Nice going," Lyssa muttered under her breath to herself.

Taylor looked at her and her scowl deepened. "Sor-ry," She told her in an annoyed tone. "It's not my fault that I'm in a rather crappy mood after having been stuck in the cellar for over a month now is it?" She took a rather feice bite of hertoast.

"That wasn't entirely my fault you know. You're the one that told me to get information, were you not?" Lyssa replied. "I couldn't do that /and/ be completely nice at the same time."

"You didn't have to get me stuck there in the first place," Taylor hissed at her feelin rather annoyed.

"Well excuse me for being an impulsive, stupid teenager!"

"Well excuse me for bein an impulsive pissed off adult." And Taylor threw the plate she was holding at Lyssa's head.

Lyssa ducked the plate, so that it shattered on the wall behind her, but a bit of stray glass flew back and cut the sleeve of her shirt and her upper arm a little. "What the fuck was that?!" Lyssa said, eyes wide.

"What the fuck was tht? Well I'll tell you what the fuck it was." Taylor said her eyes gleaming darkly. "That was a small outlet of my annoyance towards you and you and pretty damn lucky I'm not a violent person. But I can't say that for some people." And leaving her half eaten toast on the table Taylor stalked out of the room.

Lyssa stared after her for a second, before pulling her long-sleeved shirt over her head, leaving her in a sleeveless undershirt. She turned her arm a bit so she could see the cut the plate shard had caused, frowning at it. It was longer and a little deeper than she'd initially thought.

Cassie passed Taylor on her way to breakfast and noticed that the other irl looked like she was in a rather sour mood but Cassie didn't ask her what was wrong, she could tell that Taylor didn't want to talk. Entering the kitchen Cassie figured out that Lyssa had been the cause of the annoyance and the Gryffindor ingored her former best freind putting a peice of toast in the toaster. Cassie noticed a smashed plate on the floor and wondered what on earth had happened.

Lyssa was using a small towel to wipe off her arm when Cassie walked in. The Malfoy pressed the towel down on the cut once she'd gotten the blood that had run down her arm off.

Cassie sat on the bench as she waited for the toast to pop her toast up. She glanced at Lyssa who was pressing a towl to her arm, the towl was covered in blood and Cassie frowned. "You ok?" She asked her glancing at the shattered plate again.

Lyssa looked over at Cassie. "Taylor threw a plate at me," she replied.

Cassie had to hold in a small laugh, Taylor generally wasn't a violent person and she actually found the idea slightly amusin. She looked up at Lyssa again. "How is the cut?" She asked. "I can heal it if you want."

"It's fine," Lyssa said, repositioning the towel. "I've probably had worse anyway."

Cassie shrugged and nodded turning to her toast as it poped up. She buttered and put jam on it before taking a bite.

Lyssa moved the towel, looking at the cut again, and making a disdained noise. With a sigh, she walked out of the room. She didn't like being in a quiet room when there were other people there too. It was just awkward, but she wasn't going to try and start a conversation. She and Cassie weren't on the greatest terms yet.

Cassie finished her toast.

Lyssa made it back to her room without running into anyone, towel still over her arm. It was still bleeding slightly, so she just kept it there.

Cassie cleaned up her mess and the broken plate once she was done, by then more people were out and about and Cassie thought she would o back to her room and do something, like reading.

A couple more days went by and the cut on Lyssa's arm had already started healing some. She kept a bandage on it, which forced her to wear short-sleeves, so she also wore some elbow-length, fingerless gloves to hide her mark. She didn't need more disdainful looks than she already got. Sighing to herself, she got up from her bed, which she'd been laying on, and went to find Cassie.

Cassie was walking to her room one day, she saw Lyssa ahead and inoring the girl she walked past her.

"Cassie," Lyssa said as the other girl walked by to get her attention.

Cassie turned around. "What?" She asked her eyebrow raised.

"I know you still have my wand," Lyssa replied. "I would sort of like it back."
