| "Sure sure," she gave him a weird look and than burst out laughing. "That is the point Scor dear," she said still laughing. "If I make a Riddle you'll be able to get into the fridge." she paused thoughtfully. "I could charm the food in the fridge to move around if you try to pick it up. That'd be interest to watch. Or, pillows to fly at you randomly when you walk through the house. or the books you've said you read," she shook her head smiling. "I think I have better things to do, than charm the table to move so you land on it." | |

| "The pillows sound fun....like a one-sided pillow fight," Scor pondered, wondering how much stuff in the house could be charmed to do things like that. "You're right, we both have better things to do, like planning our wedding." He nodded down at the transfigured board game and nudged his fiancee. "What do we want first? The important stuff, right? Like the aisle and where we'll stand and where everyone will sit." | |

| Vena smiled and twitched her wand, sending one of the pillows on the couch to hit Scor in the back of the head. She gave him an innocent look and glanced at their un-started model. "Well," she mused staring at it. "I think that the aisle should head towards the lack. So we'll have the lake behind us and the seats in the direction of the castle." | |

| Wincing slightly, Scor flicked his wand and sent the pillow back at Vena and accidentally got her in the face. Laughing to himself, he tapped the model and drew a vague outline of the lake until it showed up, completea little wiggling arm of the giant squid. Then he trailed it up the middle to show the aisle. "Do we want an arch to stand under or an altar to stand at...or both?" | |

| She wrinkled her nose and swatted at the pillow before sending it back in the direction of Scor and getting him on the side of the head. "Oh good," she said looking at the diagram. "The giant squid is also coming to our wedding. Forget to put him on the invitation list," she smiled at Scor. "An arc would be nice," she said with a nod transfiguring a piece into an arc by the edge of the lake. She glanced at it. "We can fiddle with the design of the arc later. Hmm, chairs for the guests would be useful too." | |

| "Hey, it's not Hogwarts without the giant squid," Scor insisted, smiling and batting the pillow away from his head. "We can pillow fight later." He flicked his wand at the diagram and accidentally made several lines of stuffed armchairs appear. "Oops. That's not right. I'm getting a little rusty. But I'm sure they'd be more comfy that way," he mused while quickly switching them into fold-up chairs with cushions. | |

| "I suppose. Perhaps he can conduct the service? Even if none of us understand squid," she grinned. "Spoilsport," she told him with a laugh as he battered the pillow away. But she left it alone. "I think I'd rather sit in an arm charm than one of those," she muttered. "Are we going to have a cover over the top? Or leave it as it is?" | |

| "Oooh, or the mermaids could do it. I'm sure someone around the school speaks Mermish." He tapped the lake again and the mermen and merwomen popped up holding their tridents. "And you won't be sitting at all, so no complaining about the seats." He tapped the end of his wand against his chin as he considered. "Well, it might be sort of hot without a cover. So I guess we should." | |

| "I wasn't being serious," she muttered at the merpeople apeared. She sighed. "Remind me to wear comfortable shoes if I need to stand for the whole thing," she smiled. "I'd look lovely in slippers," she nodded. "That is true. And in case the weather decides to be silly and randomly rain," she flicked her wand and added a cover, held up by poles. | |

| "I know," Scor said, smiling, "but it would be fun if they'd show up. They're mostly too grumpy for that, though." He glanced down at his feet warily. "If my feet wouldn't itch, I'd go barefoot, but I guess I'll to charm my shoes to be soft inside. But you're right, slippers would be nice for you." He silently approved of the cover with a nod and studied the whole place. "Now...decorations, right?" | |

| "I think they'd probably try and splash the guests or something," she murmured. "You are your aversion to grass. No wonder you work in a library," she smiled at him. "Yes decorations. Though I'm doubtful we are going to agree on a colour scheme. We can do colours later I suppose. And just add everything now." | |

| Scor frowned, silently agreeing with the idea about the mermaids. It was too bad; all the magical animals were so majestic. "Maybe centaurs? Wait, how did we get hung up on this?" He shook his head and blinked down at the mostly constructed model, now missing only the details. "We can just make it all black and white or something until we can talk about colors. We can make a compromise." | |

| "I doubt the centuars would want to any more than the mermaids. They'll come up with some reason against fraternizing with humans," she rolled her eyes at the thought of the creatures. "It would be nice to have them I agree, but doubtful that they would agree." She looked thoughtfully down at their model at nodded at Scor. "That is very true. I still think Slytherin colours," she said with a grin at him. Knowing that he would disagree. | |

| "You'd think that after going through a couple of wars with us the centaurs would ease up on being so antisocial," Scor complained, shaking his head. He'd read far too many books on the subject and knew that starting a conversation on them would be pointless and probably boring for Vena, so he moved on. "There's no way my wedding is going to be in Slytherin colors. Eris would be far too smug. I say Ravenclaw. Because....because I said so." | |

| Vena scrunched up her nose and snorted. "Because you said so? That has to be the worst reasoning I've heard. And besides, I'm not having my wedding in Ravenclaw colours. They don't suite me," she smiled. "Green and silver go perfectly, and it'd be a disaster if colours clashed wouldn't it? Should we have a path going through the chairs up to the arc? Or just the grass," she gazed at it, also picturing Hogwarts in her head wondering which way would suite the wedding better. She smiled. "I think Hogwarts was a good idea," she said. "It'd be nice to be near the castle again, even just for the day." | |

| "Are you joking? It's the best reasoning ever. I'm the boss and I said so, so I win!" Scor smiled, knowing this sounded more like Vena's way of thinking than his own. "I think we should have a path. I don't even want to be thinking about grass." He shuddered slightly and then got back to the topic at hand. "My wedding will not be in Slytherin colors, no way no how. I spent too many years proving I didn't belong in Slytherin to be shoved into it now." He paused and pondered for a moment. "Maybe we shouldn't do Ravenclaw colors or Slytherin colors. Or both." | |

| "Since when did you become boss?" she asked tilting her head to the side. "Pretty sure you're not," she pushed him playfully, and drew a path with her wand leading up to the arc. She shook her head about his comment on grass, but kept silent. She sighed dramtically but smiled. "I suppose. It is both of our wedding isn't it? I think the point is compromise. Though, if we aren't going to do both what colours? We could always just go with Gryffindor," she joked and then scrunched her nose. "Those colours are even worse. I think both, though how we combine them is a whole new story altogether." | |

| "I've always been the boss," Scor said matter-of-factly, but broke into a smile and nudged back when Vena pushed at him. "Isn't compromise what marriage is supposed to be about? My...well, the Malfoys always said that, but it seemed more like she did whatever he wanted and he bought her a bunch of jewelry." He shook his head at the idea and was once more reminded of how glad he was to have gotten away from all of that. Pureblood life was so awfully phony and full of rules and appearances that no one really cared about one another. "Do blue and silver go together? Or green and bronze? Or, well, we could do blues and greens. Maybe not the normal shades for the houses, but still. I don't know. I know nothing about colors. I'm lucky I wore robes all the time as a child or everyone would've seen my mismatched shirts and trousers underneath." | |

| "You've never been the boss," she told him with a laugh. "It is meant to be, apparently anyway. I wouldn't know. And, I don't need lots of expensive Jewelry, so we are all good to go, though my ring is gorgeous," she smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "Blue and silver do," she said with a nod. "Green and bronze, probably, but it wouldn't be quite as nice I'd imagine. Green and blue would too probably," she scrunched up her nose trying to think. "I can't do matching off the top of my head. And they let you run about in mismatching clothing?" she asked. "I would have thought even clothing would have to be matching and perfect. I'm sure your clothing looked better than what I had however," she shook her head. | |

| "Yeah, well, you're not the boss of me either," Scor insisted, feeling like a whining child stuck with an awful babysitter. She quickly made up for it, of course, with the kiss on the cheek and he smiled at the warm spot it left there. Other people probably would've thought it strange that even little things like that were still special to him, but even after this time he wasn't used to really having someone he loved and cared about and who loved him too. It was the first time there was true affection in his life and that, he reckoned, was why they needed to plan this damn wedding and make her his wife.
"Well, if blue and silver do, then that might be good. Or...I don't know. Maybe later we can spend some time charming the decorations random colors until they look right?" He gave her a pleading look. It was all well and good to mess around with the model for a while, but he could only stare at it for so long. "And as long as my clothes were under my robes, they didn't care what I was wearing. Eris did, though, used to throw fits at me about it." He frowned solemnly as Vena brought up her past. He never really knew what to say in times like that, so he remained silent, hoping the moment would pass. | |

| Vena smiled. "That would be good, to set things up and fiddle around with it for a while. Although, it would have to be in the summer wouldn't it? So we're not disruptive or anything," she rolled her eyes slightly. "Blue and silver for now?" She suggested. "And if it doesn't work we'll play around with colours at another point," she gave him an amused look. "Seems like the kind of thing that she would do..." she trailed off and shrugged, following Scor's lead in letting her comment fall into nothingness. | |

| Scor shrugged dismissively. "If we tried it during classes, it really wouldn't matter. It's not like the kids need the spot by the lake for much of anything except running around. But we can wait until the summer. We can even wait and change the colors just before the wedding if we want...it won't take more than a couple of wand waves anyway." He nodded in agreement about the blue and silver. "That sounds good for now," he said, eyeing the little model they had made and then tapping it with his wand, shrinking it down so they could tuck it away somewhere he wouldn't fall on it. He yawned dramatically and snuggled down into the couch. "Were we supposed to be having a pillow fight?" | |

| "Oh, some Gryffindors would find it amusing to bewitch the colours, or turn it isn't rope or something ridiculous like that," she shook her head. "It'd be better to have everything set up before the wedding. Or we'll be running around stressed with only half the things done. Which would probably be bad." Vena flicked her wand at the tiny model and it zoomed and sat on top of the book shelf. "Yes," she said with a nod, grabbing a pillow off of the couch and whacking him in it. "I am pretty that that was the plan," she grinned and sent one spiraling up into the air to fall down on top of him. | |
