Noah and Eva.

"Hmmm. How about we start outside, because the people there are a lot less likely to be working, so we won't be disturbing them as much. Plus, I want to be outside. We can just ask everyone we come across?"

Noah nodded at her. "Good idea," He said. "Wouldn't want to disrupt anyone working. Cause that does get annoying."

Eva nodded. "It really is, and I would not want to do that to someone. Don't you hate when you're thinking of something and you lose your train of thought?"

"Exactly," Noah said with yet another nod. This kid nods a lot. I mean really. "That is really annoying, especially if it was something important too."

Eva also nods, because she likes nodding also. "Yes, quite true. Truer than true! Anywho, are you ready!? It is time for EXPLORING! And discovery." She beamed.

Noah laughed softly, shaking his head amused at the girl. "Exploring and discovery," He said with a smile. "Sounds like a plan to me. Let's go."

Eva grinned. "Exploration and discovery are some of my favorite things. I also like squirrels and the sky and SQUIDY!"

"Eva," Noah said looking at her. "Did you have anything with sugar on it for breakfast?" He was quite amused at Eva, at how excitable and enthusiastic she was.

Eva frowned and thought back to her breakfast. "No, I don't believe so. I rather like sugar, though. It's so sweet."

"Okay," Noah said. "So you're always this hyper? Alright."

Eva laughed. "Not always. But when the weather is this nice and I have an adventure in front of me, why not get excited?"

"I suppose so," Noah said. "You do have a point. Okay, people over there. Let's go."

Eva flounced up to the people standing there. "Hello, there! I'm Eva and this is Noah, and we are collecting data about the giant squid in the lake. What do you call the giant squid?"

The people looked at eachother for a moment, and then at the two standing in front of them. Eva who was just about bouncing on her feet, and Noah who was very amused at Eva. "Uh," One of them said. "The giant squid?" "Squid?" Another said. Noah thought they were a very creative bunch.

Eva shook her head. "Squid? How lame of a name is that! I call him Squidy, but that's only his nickname. His full name is The Illustrious, Awesome Purple Squid from Hogwarts Lake. I don't think he likes being called purple, though, or illustrious, so I just call him Squidy."

Noah gave Eva a very weird look and started to laugh. He couldn't help it. The people seemed to think Eva was very odd, and after giving her an odd look they turned around and headed off.

Eva shook her head. "Squid? What a ridiculous name! They have absolutely no creativity." She then looked at the piece of paper. "So, that's three people for 'Squid.'"

"I call it the squid," Noah commented as he wrote "Squid," On the page and put three lines underneath it.

Eva shook her head. "Hang around me more. Maybe I'll rub off on you, and you will stop calling it the Squid. Silly goose," she teased.

"Squid is a perfect name for the squid," Noah said with an amused shake of his head and a smile at Eva.

Eva shook her head. "Is not, buddy. It's dreadfully dull! Oooooh, look, more people!" She darted off to the next group of people.

"Yes well, other names sound ridiculous," He muttered shaking his head at Eva darted off to talk to the other people, he followed her, at a less of a pace then she ahd taken. The poor people would have no idea what hit them.

Eva bounced up to the group. "What do you call the giant squid in the lake? This is a question of great importance, so if you would answer honestly, it would be greatly appreciated, please and thank you!"

Noah hid his smile. The people exchanged weird looks. "Squidward," One kid said. Noah laughed, and started humming the theme song under his breath. One of the boys laughed, and did a gesture mixed with a head bob showing he called it the same thing. The third person just said "squid" with a shrug. And the fourth said nothing, just shrugging and giving Noah and Eva very odd looks.

"Thank you!" Eva said brightly, making sure the tally was updated. "Squidward is a new one. I am surprised I have not heard it before. People are so interesting!"
