| Samantha nodded, smiling slightly at him.
"So. C'mon. Don't be so shy. Tell me more!" She nudged him with her elbow, trying not to look or sound like some creeping....creeper. 'Cause that would be just a little awkward.
Then, Samantha got an idea.
She looked up at him through her eyelashes, spinning around so she faced him, slipping her arms around his neck, smiling.
"Please tell me a tiny bit more?" She murmured, tilting her head slightly to the side, attempting to look innocent.

| "So. C'mon. Don't be so shy. Tell me more!"
The statement in itself was fine. Not something he would really respond to, but fine.
It was when she started moving in on him that Aaron got a bit uncomfortable.
Aaron knew that Samantha had a bit of a mischievous streak. He figured that out pretty early on, when she committed to pretending to be in a relationship. It was something that he picked up on pretty quickly, and something that had been pretty consistent. However, he never, ever would have expected what she was just attempting. She looked just like Scarlett, or one of her clones--her eyes were vacant, although Aaron could tell she was going for innocence, and she looked up at him through her eyelashes. She latched herself to his neck.
"Please tell me a tiny bit more?" she whispered in his ear.
Basically, she threw herself at him. She clearly didn't grasp the concept of using what she had to get her way. She was trying to be seductive, like Scarlett. Aaron had to admit--she was gorgeous, and there were a lot of people that would have worked on. However, her attempt to use that to get information out of him made him sigh inwardly.
"Why does it matter? You go first. What is the story behind you disarming Snape?"
She was gorgeous, but he had gone out with a lot of Scarletts. It was going to take more than that to get through him.

| Samantha narrowed her eyes at him, removing her arms from around him before crossing them, pursing her lips. She had no idea why he was being so secretive.
"I don't understand you, Aaron. You expect me to tell you a whole story about myself, but when I try to get a tiny detail from you, I get nothing. I didn't hurt you in any way as far as I know, and it confuses me why you're acting like I am a spy going off to report everything you say about yourself to someone who wants to hurt you greatly." She huffed, not meaning to get this angry, but she couldn't help but be a little miffed.
"And, if you must know, it was the defense class. We were practicing different spells, and I thought it would be funny to try and knock someones wand out of their hand. I misjudged, and hit Snape instead. Luckily, the teachers just thought that I was showing off, so I was let off." Samantha said coldly, pursing her lips. "Happy now?"

| Aaron rolled his eyes.
"There's absolutely no need to be such a drama queen. I don't tell you much because I don't have much to say. You clearly don't, either. That's the first thing you've told me about yourself that was more than a sentence. I find it rather ironic, actually. Also, what stories do you think that I have to tell? I could tell you about how my mom died, if you really want. Or maybe I could tell you the story of how I was completely isolated, because I'm the youngest kid in the class. I could tell you my dating history, if that would make you feel better about yourself. I don't have any stories that you want to hear. Also, the fact is, we just met. How the heck do you expect me to tell you every tiny, insignificant detail, when I haven't know you for more than a week?"
Aaron kept his tone calm and under control, not rising to Samantha's level. His words were harsh, but he was very careful to be honest while not telling the important stuff--his dad's involvement with the death eaters, his childhood. He didn't trust anyone with that. He wasn't treating her poorly--just like everyone else. However, most people didn't notice that he went on complete lock-down. To them, he was just another pretty face. Smart, yes, but the brains were only secondary.

| Samantha's jaw clenched as Aaron spoke, picking out every flaw in the argument she just gave, tearing it to pieces. Thankfully, she didn't start crying. Anger and sadness welled up inside her, and it seemed this time sadness would overcome.
She stared strait ahead, her fists clenching as she tightened her arms around herself.
This is gonna ruin everything. Samantha thought, despair sweeping through her. Why did I let this happen? Its not MY fault he's so secretive. I know we barely know each other, but... Her train of thought was lost. Aaron did not have to be so rude.

| Aaron grimaced. Samantha looked like she was about to cry. He hadn't meant to be mean or anything--it just came out. In a way, that little show was probably the best way he could have possibly showed her anything about him. He wasn't the nice, sweet, glass mask that everyone thought he was. He had a personality, and he sometimes got upset.
However, he really didn't want to hurt Samantha, and he felt bad. He walked around, facing her face, and he gave her a big hug. He didn't know what else to do. "I'm sorry," he said quietly to her, silently hoping the tears didn't spill from those beautiful eyes of hers. "You just have to be patient with me. I'm not as good at this as people think." She fit so comfortably in his arms--she was beautiful, even when she was sad and angry and confused. He did not like seeing her like that, though. It made him sad seeing her upset. This was somewhat of a new feeling for him, and he liked it, in an odd sort of way. Even with both of them upset, they suited each other.

| Samantha was stopped as Aaron slipped his arms around her, squeezing her in an effort to try and help her sour mood improve. She breathed in deeply, trying to keep the tears that were about to escape from his apology.
Her face was being pressed into his chest, and she noted just how pretty he smelled. Like some sort of flower or....something. Yeah. She thought, her mind dazed from the sudden hug, apology, and how sweet he smelled. You know... Flower-like.
Samantha opened her mouth to speak, then closed it, then repeated the process once more. Finally she sighed, not knowing what exactly to say. She was still upset, not able to look Aaron in the eyes.

| Samantha was still upset, and Aaron was frustrated. She had no right to be mad at him, yet she was carrying on as if he had killed her dog (which he would never do). She wasn't being fair at all to him, but he did not really have anything he could do about it. So, he sat there, hugging her, holding her, telling her he was sorry for something he shouldn't have to be apologizing for. She still refused to meet his eyes, and she was clearly upset.
Why did he always like the drama queens?
However, he didn't give up. He didn't lecture her. He didn't tell her she was being ridiculous. He comforted her for a "wrong" he committed, and he hoped that she would start to feel better. He did not know that she would. If she didn't, he really couldn't be blamed. In her eyes, he was probably only in this for the fun of it.

| He continued to try and console Samantha, though, in the long run, it wasn't him who did anything wrong. Honestly, she shouldn't get all caught up in this. It was only a game to him, a way to get back at Scarlett for being the way that she is. In fact, Samantha should really stop it now before someone gets hurt, and that someone being Samantha. Because once its over... Samantha didn't know if she was going to be able to let go of Aaron.
And thats what worried her. Because theres no way someone like him would like a no one like her.
She took another deep breath before lifting her head up, glad the tears didn't escape her eyes.
"Sorry, sorry. I just... Overreact sometimes."

| "Sorry, sorry. I just... Overreact sometimes."
Aaron wrapped his arms around Samantha and hugged her. He knew she must not be enjoying being the one to apologize. She did overreact, but he knew few people who didn't. It was human tendency to make a big deal out of nothing. "It's okay. Just as long as we're all okay now, that's all that matters."
Granted, it wasn't all that mattered at all. Aaron knew that neither side had won this battle--Samantha had not managed to make him feel guilty for not telling anything, but Samantha had not managed to get anything from it. In a way, they were just letting go of the battle, hoping the effects would blow over in time.
"So, what kind of things do you usually read?" Aaron asked, trying to resume some sort of conversation, but picking something that Samantha would likely be animated about, to try and cheer her up.
