Say All The Things That You Never Meant to Say

Lani frowned as she walked from Diagon Alley through the entrance to Knockturn Alley. She had never liked the darker alley. It always gave her a bad feeling. Plus, she'd never understood why the two alleys were next to each other when Diagon Alley had so many children running around it who could easily wander off and enter the other alley. She sighed to herself as she walked along the street, looking for the place she was meant to be getting to.

Taylor frowned as she watched Lani enter Knockturn Alley. The alley was an alley for dark wizards and witches and Taylor and the Order had suspicions that Lani was a Death Eater. She entered the alleyway behind the other girl, not even bothering to try and be discret about the fact. "Funny place to be hanging out in Leithen, wouldn't you say so?"

Lani was startled hearing her name, but didn't jump as she turned around. "Who said I'm hanging out here, Marice?" she said back, looking at the girl with a raised eyebrow. "I'm just taking a walk."

"Fine," Taylor said, a small gleam in her eye. "I'll rephrase Funny place to be taking a walk. Wouldnt you usaully go for a walk somewhere less dark, or somewhere less likely that people will think you are up to something unpleasent."

Lani shrugged. "I got bored of everywhere else, and I'd never been here before, so I decided to see what it was like. Although, now that I'm here, I don't quite think I'll take any more walks here."

"And I believe you," Taylor said with a nod, she leaned against the wall next to her. "You would know about the reputation this place holds, so unless you had to. You wouldn't come down here in case someone saw you."

Lani shrugged. "I suppose you have a point, but seeing is believing. Now, enough about why I'm here. What are you doing here?"

"And I'm defeinetly going to answer that," Taylor said looking at the girl. "Well I might. BUt not until I know what you are actually doing here and not what you trying to make me believe."

"I've told you," Lani said with a sigh. "I'm taking a walk. Nothing more, nothing less. Why do you insist that I have some ulterior motive?"

"Because," Taylor said watching her. "No-one comes in here without one. Despite the crap that you are attemping to make me believe, I'm not believing a word of it. You're up to something."

"Alright," Lani said. "I'll humor you for a moment. Suppose I am up to something. What do you think that something is?"

"Well," Taylor said. "It's obviously not something good, because otherwise you'd have no qualms in telling me. And you wouldn't be down this street."

"That's not nearly specific enough," Lani protested lightly. "If it was like that it could be any number of things, now couldn't it?"

"Alright," Taylor said taking a step forward. "I'll get more specific." Then quite quickly she did two things, one included disarming the other girl and the second included grabbing her arm and apperating. Once they had landed at their destination, Taylor flicked her wand again. Freezing Lani. "I know you're a Death Eater."

Lani's eyes narrowed at Taylor. "You don't have any proof," she said. Although, she knew that, now that she was frozen in place, Taylor could easily get proof.

"Oh yeah?" Taylor asked her, her eyes gleaming. She pulled up Lani's left sleeve. "I call that proof enough." She said dropping the sleeve so that it covered the mark again. "Wouldn't you?"

Lani was quiet, as she'd known that Taylor was going to do that. There was bascially no avoiding it. "So," she said finally, "I'm a Death Eater. What does that mean you're going to do?"

"Well," Taylor said smiling wickedly. "You're a Death Eater, I'm an Order member. I'll let you fill in the gaps."

Lani frowned to herself. "Oh, lovely," she said sarcastically.

"Isn't this fun," Taylor said chipperly flicking her wand twice, once causing Lani's eyes to become blind-folded and the second making her walk. Taylor hummed cheerily as she strolled off, Lani being forced to walk behind her.

Lani frowned as they walked, trying to break free of the magic as they did so. She did not like not being able to see. It made her feel horribly vulnerable.

Taylor took Lani to the Order's back up base, which was where they took Death Eaters and that for interogation. Taylor entered the Head Quarters shutting the door behind both her and Lani. She entered one of the main rooms where McGonagall was. Having come down for a meeting and about to go back up to the school at a later stage.

Lani couldn't see still, but she knew they were inside some place. The air had changed and so had the textures under her feet. Then she heard a voice she hadn't in a while. Minerva McGonagall. "Taylor," the older woman said.

"Minerva," Taylor said, she found it slightly off calling her by her first name after seven years of using the last. but she was getting used to it. Taylor gestured over her shoulder at Lani. "Kalani Leithen." She said. "Is actually a Death Eater." At the start of the day Taylor hadn't been a hundred percent sure but after the course of the day, and seeing the girls mark. She was now sure.

McGonagall frowned, thinking back to the girl in school. She had pegged her as the type that was too smart to fall into this sort of thing, but Taylor seemed absolutely sure of it. "You have one hundred percent confirmed this?" she asked, despite the girl's sureness. It was protocol.
