The Final Wall is Breaking Down

Cassie was feeling somewhat awkward, she wasn't the best with these kind of things. She glanced at her foot and then up at her mother who seemed to be a a loss for words.

Sam herself was quite shocked, but then it was Voldemort so she supposed she shouldn't be. She was also wondering what kind of task Draco had been given and that he had failed at but knew better then to ask. "Thank you for telling me Lyssa, I'll tell Lizzie and henry something so they won't pester you about it."

Lyssa just nodded, still able to say anything. Then she spoke, "Thanks for...you know....not blowing up at me or anything." She shrugged at the end, unsure of what to say or do.

"It's not your fault Lyssa dear," Sam said. Sometime soon the two girls headed back to Cassie's room, Cassie flopped down onto her bed with a sigh.

The two went to sleep sometime later. Lyssa woke up the next day, throwing her covers off of her, as it was really hot. She noticed Cassie was no longer in the room, and figured the other girl was already having breakfast.

Cassie was eating breakfast when Lyssa came down in the kitchen. Now that long after Lyssa had gotten something to eat the doorbell rang. Cassie sighed getting up off of her chair and going to answer it. She opened it and blinked when she saw that it was Draco. The last person she expected to be at the door. Without a word he marched in. Cassie frowned at him and supposed the only reason stopping him from marching right in was that the door was locked and underage magic wasn't allowed. "Oi," Cassie said shutting the door and walking off after him. "I didn't invite you in you know." He turned and gave her an irritated look. "I do not have time for your nonsense Evans, I would rather not be in this place." He looked around with a disgrunted expression. "Longer then needed, but I am here to see my sister so do not get in my way." Cassie scowled at him as he walked into the kitchen where Lyssa was. "My house my rules." She muttered under her breath.

Lyssa was eating cereal when she heard Draco's voice at the door, and then he was standing at the kitchen doorway. "Hullo, Draco," she said pleasantly. Then she got serious. "What are you doing here?"

Cassie muttering leaned against the wall. "Are you okay?" Draco asked her which coming from Draco sounds extreamly odd.

Lyssa looked at Draco, momentarily confused before she got what he was asking about. Then she nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine," she said.

Draco frowned at his sister. Cassie sighed, she was wondering what was going to happen once the rest of her family was awake.

Lyssa frowned at Draco's frown. "Why are you frowning at me?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Am I supposed to not be fine?"

Cassie sat back down and resumed eating her breakfast. "Sorry," Draco said and Cassie was pretty sure she had never heard him say that before. "It was my fault."

Lyssa shook her head. "No, it wasn't," she said. "So you have no reason to be apologizing to me. I'm not going to blame you."

Cassie heard footsteps on the stairs and not that long after Cassie's Mum entered the room. She glanced at the people in it. "Hello Draco," She said causing Cassie to blink. Sam had never seen Draco before so she was wondering how on earth she knew it was Draco. Butshe supposed, in some ways it was fairly obvious.

Draco looked at Sam, slightly confused for moment, wondering how she knew his name, then realized that Lyssa had probably said it at some point, and they looked alike. "Er..." he said, not wanting to seem impolite or rude. "Hullo." He also did not want to make Cassie angry, or her mum....Angry people and Draco did not mix.

Cassie frowned as she heard more footsteps on the stairs. It was obviously Lizzie this time if the silence and then the loud thumps that showed she was jumping was any indication. Lizzie entered the kitchen. "Morning," She said then frowned at Draco. "Who are you?" She asked, probably not as polite as she could have.

Draco looked taken aback for a moment at Lizzie, which made Lyssa smirk slightly. "He's my brother, Draco, Liz," she said, still smirking at the look on Draco's face.

Cassie snickered slightly at the look on Draco's face. Lizzie looked at Draco with an eyebrow raised. "Why are you here?" She asked. Lizzie wasn't the most polite of people. "Lizzie," Sam said with a slight frown. "Be nice." "I am," Lizzie muttered. "I want to know why what's-his-name is here."

Draco frowned. "My name is not what's-his-name. It's Draco Malfoy. And I'm here to see my sister obviously, since I have no reason to see anyone else in this house." Yes, it sounded rude, but Draco was feeling slightly insulted at the moment and did not care.

Lizzie raised an eyebrow at him and Cassie sighed, she had a feeling that Lizzie and Draco were going to get on worse then she and Draco did. "Do you want anything to eat Draco?" Sam asked pouring herself a mug of coffee

Draco shook his head. "I'm good. Ate at home."

"Can you get me some toast mum?" Lizzie asked her mother as she sat down at the table. "Where's your legs?" Sam asked, she would have if she hadn't just sat down. Lizzie made a face at her flouncing into the kitchen. She grabbed the bread, and put it into the toaster. "Ow!" She exclaimed as she hand brushed against the kettle. "Ow ow ow." Sam sighed. "Get ice out of the freezer Lizzie dear and put it on."

Lyssa looked over at Draco, who was still by the doorway. He was frowning. It was then that Lyss remembered, Draco had never officially met a Muggle before, making Lizzie the first. He was probably feeling a bit off, because of this.

Lizzie's toast popped out ofthe toaster and she grabbed it biting into it and then going off in search of a plate.

The group ate breakfast, and Draco didn't travel any closer than the doorway. Once the eating was finished, Lyssa sighed. "It's hot," she muttered. Then she looked outside at the pool, sighing again.

"Wanna go swimming?" Cassie suggested with a shrug.
