RP with Moodz and Ellie

I almost laughed at his last remark. It was true, Pansy was like a lawn chair. I sighed as a large gust of wind tore through the tops of the tree, rocking it.
"But, Draco, seeing that you have such a strong hold on Slytherin House, surely you would ward of the uh-wanted attention. Unless, you want to be followed around by a couple of Labradors? I frankly, would find that a bit annoying. I wouldn't have any personal time to myself, to practice spells. Let me ask you this, Malfoy, do you enjoy being followed around?" I continued, getting a tad irritated. I glared at the 3rd year, and he quickly ran off. I glowered at Draco, and waited for is answer.

I considered her words for a moment. "I wouldn't say that I'm fond of it, but why make them unhappy? They're happy just to think that they're close to me. But I assure you, I get plenty of alone time. As you can see, Parkinson knows when I need my time apart." I looked back at where she had been standing, but she had walked off and I felt hopeful. Maybe she wasn't too angry with me; I wouldn't want her acting funny during patrols like she had the day that Astoria (or was it Daphne?) Greengrass had attempted to hold my hand for a moment in Herbology.I shook the thought away and looked back at Cira.
"Besides, what is it to you, Slytherin? I mean, I know that everyone is concerned for the greater good of Draco Malfoy, but I don't know why you'd take such a specific interest. I'm perfectly fine with my little line of blind ducklings following me about."

I shrugged, smiling darkly. Absentmindedly, I pulled my wand out again, twirling it around my fingers without thinking about it. Every few seconds, I felt the etchings in the dark wood. S.S. Salazar Slytherin. For some reason, my great-great-great whatever grandfathers wand had decided to chose me instead of my brother. He was pretty ticked.
"Oh, as a Slytherin, literally, isn't it my duty to see to it that all of the members of Slytherin gets the best?" I narrowed my eyes and leaned forward toward Draco. "How do you think you and Pansy there got the Prefect position, and not me?" I told him in a now voice. "I may not like Pansy that much, but she does deserve some respect, pardon how I treated her earlier. And I thought you could use some form of responsibility."

I would have been flat-out offended if I didn't know that she was probably telling the truth. I would have like to believe that I had been made prefect on my own merits, but I had always wondered how Pansy had wormed her way opposite me. I was pleased, however, to find that Cira at least showed a little respect for Pansy. We might not be rapturously in love (or at least I'm not), but Slytherins were about as loyal as you can get without being a Hufflepuff.
"Responsibility, eh? And you didn't think you needed any of that for yourself?" I asked, watching as she twirled her wand absently. Every now and again she made a swift figure eight movement that I wouldn't have been able to do if she had shown me how. There was something about her that wasn't quite normal, or at least not on the same level as the rest of them. I supposed it had something to do with being descended from Slytherin himself, who, despite founding the greatest house Hogwarts can lay claim to, was probably just a batty old nutter.

I almost growled at him. "I have more than enough, Malfoy." I barked out his name. I sighed again, my jaw tight. As it got cloudier, a huge flash of lightning cracked over head. There was no rain, but the light coming from the lightning was freaking some of the other students out. I jumped up, balancing on the branch, but I made no move to actually leave. My robes billowed out behind me, and I could just imagine what I looked like. Again. Did I always have to think about how creepy I must look to some weaklings? I suppose it was a good thing. It kept them away from me.

I was pleased to see that I'd set her on edge again. She seemed easily agitated, which I hadn't noticed in all the years of being around her. Mostly, my old image of her had been as a lesser version of me, in female form. Not that I was putting down on her by thinking of her as lesser, it was just that I rarely thought of anyone as an equal. Nott came close, if it weren't for his mother, but Crabbe, Goyle, Zabini? Nowhere near the prestige, the loyalty, the talent....or the good looks.
I watched as Slytherin leapt up to balance on the branch. There seemed to be a storm brewing above us, but that wasn't any cause for alarm. Let it rain; a simple Shielding Charm would protect my hair and I'd be perfectly content to watch the water soak into the ground, feeding the life all around us.
"Anyway, Cira," I said, before quickly biting my tongue at my use of her first name, "if you really want the best for all of us...what's the best for me?" I doubted I would take her advice, but it was always good to have a second opinion on life, even when the first opinion was as solid and trustworthy as my father's.

I turned to look at him, grinning evilly. I tried to freak him out, to scare him. I hoped it worked.
"That's for me to know, and for you to find out, isn't it Draco." I informed him. I didn't like the way him saying my first name felt to me. I was deep down, just like any other Slytherin. I love with Draco. But I could tell that the feelings I held was much deeper than the shallow souls of the other girls.

My name sounding slightly intimidating in her mouth as she looked down at me. Her facial expression was somewhere between the cat that ate the canary and some sort of evil, killer clown. I'd have been scared if she hadn't been just inches from my face only a little while earlier. Once someone had been so close to me, it was hard for me to really fear them. The only person so near to me that I still respected properly was Father, and with good reason. He'd easily spend galleons upon galleons for me, but any disobedience or breaking with the social decrees of our pureblood rule would result in a caning.
"I never really understood that expression, you know," I said calmly, staring up into her face with a look of mock studiousness. "If it's for me to find out, why can't I just find out right now?"

"It's on a need to know basis." I replied as another clap of thunder raddled the tree. I enjoyed the slight look of shock in Draco's eyes when I looked down at him. At least I had an edge with him, and I knew that if I tried hard enough I could bring a bit of fear to Draco's shocking green eyes. I was a Slytherin, and he knew about my skill with Hexes.

Well, isn't she just a little boundary-pusher? I was even a little surprised, still, at the way she treated me. "Do you really think that I don't need to know about the course of my life here? I mean, honestly, if not my cro....Crabbe and Goyle and the lot, and if not Parkinson, who would you have me go round with, Potter and co?" I nearly made myself sick with the thought.

I just had to laugh at that. "Sure. Go ahead. Oh, you forgot about me. For all you know I would have taken pity on you and decided to join the Draco Malfoy Fan Club. Hogwarts is unpredictable, you know that for a fact. Besides, sometimes its best not to know what will come of you until it actually does."

I grinned. "Oh, so now you're a miniature philospher, are you? I'm sure that quack Trelawney loves you. Also, pity wouldn't look very good on you. You're kind of above that. But I wouldn't have minded someone like you in my little horde of groupies. You've got talent and grace and everyone can use a cronie that actually has a purpose. Then again, I highly doubt you would have ended up in my little crowd. You've got your own fan club."

I smirked at him. "True. And that old bat? I quit her class long ago. Besides, I don't pity people. I feel bad for them for half a second then move on. We all have our own lives to suffer about and having other people feel bad for you is pointless, because it does nothing to help." I said. "Oh, and talent and grace, eh? Arent you just the little charmer." Sarcasm leaked into my voice.

"I thought you knew of my charms already, dear," I said cheekily, laying it on thick in the way that always made girls swoon. "Surely you wouldn't be surprised and caught off your feet as easily as this?" I asked, carefully standing up and reaching out to touch her arm. "I know you're not as easy to get after as Daphne or Pansy. You wouldn't have any reaction to, say, something like this," I finished, reaching further up to touch her cheek.

I kept a blank look on my face, looking at him with the slightest glare like I always did, no matter what. Inside, I was exploding in happyness. It was one of the few times I actually felt happy.
"You'll have to do better than that, Malfoy." I said, smiling slightly in my usual way. His fingers were warm on my face, and I was glad I didn't blush. Sometimes I though that I couldn't blush at all.

"Do you want me to do better than that, Cira?" I questioned smoothly, wondering how far I could get before she either blushed and giggled like the rest or slapped me like a prudish Ravenclaw. I moved my face closer to hers, and I could feel the heat emanating from her. She might not be blushing, but something was coming from her in waves. Our noses were almost touching, and I hitched up once side of my mouth and shivered a little. "How's this?"

"Maybe I do." I said, my head tilting up a little bit. I was whispering, but showing no emotion. I was screaming inside my head, screaming OH MY GOD over and over. How was he able to stir up such emotions inside me like no one else could?! It confused me, but the confusion was shoved away at the... sharp emotion, and longing that I suddenly had for Draco. "Surely, you can do better."

"How far is this little experiment going to go? People will talk, oh, how they will talk. Pansy will be devastated. The Greengrass girls will throw themselves off the Astronomy Tower. There will be a worldwide keening over the fact that Draco Malfoy kissed Cira Slytherin," I said, quietly, and when I saw the smallest twitch in her face I knew I had one. I inched ever-closer, hovering my lips above hers. I wasn't going to embarrass myself over this; if this was happening, it was happening of her own accord.

I tried to keep from gasping.
"Maybe Cira Slytherin kissed Draco Malfoy. Besides, they'll live. They should have known I was the slightest bit of competition." I hoped that what Draco was doing was true, and not just to manipulate me to get a new cronie member for himself. Of course, if that was the true reason, I could easily deal with him.

I desperately wanted to shake my head and laugh at her, but at this distance I would have been basically rubbing my nose against hers, which didn't seem romantic or productive. "Well..." I said, wondering if I knew what I was getting myself into, "one of us has to move at some point." I closed my eyes and waited to see if she would take advantage of the moment.

I slightly narrowed my eyes at him, moving a bit closer, my lips just barely brushing his.
"At some point." I murmured.
His eyes were closed, but that didn't help the situation, not in the least. At this point, I did not care about the remarks that were going to be coming after this. I didn't care if I was going to get hurt by him, physically or mentally. I leaned in complexity, my lips pressing softly into his. I tried to keep still, tried to not move, but It was hard. Very hard. It was a challenge to not start hyperventilating.

Wow. Wow. I'm just going to keep thinking wow, until some kind of words start forming in my mind. I really hadn't expected this. Cira Slytherin was not the type to give in so easily to advances, even if they were from me. She was also not the type to do anything that could manage to slighten her image in anyway; she was fiercely protective of herself and her reputation. It took me a few moment to remember that her lips were against mine, and that she was probably thinking that I was an idiot, just sitting there as if I'd never been kissed before. But what did I do? Kiss back? Pull away? I didn't even know why I had started all of this, and now I was making a decision that might affect the whole year, or even the whole rest of my school years. I took the compromising way and moved my lips softly against hers for a moment, then pulled back and gave her a smug look. "Well, well, well," I said, trying to hide my confusion and surprise, "that was easier than I had thought it would be."

As he pulled back, I clenched my teeth. I know I shouldn't have giving into him, but he was just asking for it. His words tore through my like a knife, piercing my heart. He was just manipulating me. But he wasn't going to get away with it. I knew my face must have given away something, probably the sear hatred that I was feeling, because Draco's eyes widened the slightest bit. I was happy that he was a bit afraid. He wouldn't hear the end of this, and I was glad no one else could see what was going on. With a sound almost like a hiss, I pulled completely away, sifting to the edge of the branch, glaring at him.

Panicking, I wiped the smug look off my face and changed it to one of concern. "Don't take it that way. Misunderstanding," I said, but I could tell she didn't want to listen. I edged closer to her, but my fear of either going over the edge or breaking the branch stopped me from getting close enough to touch her again. "Look, I just...I didn't imagine that you would be the type to do something like that. Not that you're not brave, I just thought you would think I was being...foolish."

I couldn't reply. I was still angry. After sending him one more tight glare, I jumped from the tree, landing with a dull thud on the wet ground. I noticed that almost everyone was gone, so they must be in the Great Hall. I made my way to the school, angry continuing to rise inside of me.
