They say time heals everything. But I'm still waiting.

Vena looked at her, flicked her wand and set off down the hall. Forcing the girl to walk behind her. "Why you are here, I don't know. Where you are, I'm not going to tell you and who that was. See if you can figure it out on your own."

Nicole frowned at the girl, and she also figured out that when made to walk somewhere, if you didn't fight it and went with things it wasn't unpleasant. You just couldn't stop when you wanted to stop. "My mum's going to be really upset and it's not pretty when she's upset...."

Vena rolled her eyes. "I honestly do not care," She said. She felt somewhat sorry for the girl who would really have no idea what was going on. But also, she really didn't care.

They reached the room and stopped. Nicole frowned. "I think I should just go back home. I'd rather not be kidnapped in any way shape or form, so it's the only logical thing to do. Plus I'm twelve, what could there be to gain from having me kidnapped."

Vena rolled her eyes at the girl again. "Kid, I really do not care what you think or want, it does not phase me even in the slightest and actually quite a lot of things can be gained from kidnapping children. Usually the co-operation of a parent."

"Well my mum must not want to cooperate with you people if you need me to hold over her and bribe her with," Nicole stated matter-of-factly.

Vena rolled her eyes. "Obviously," She said. "Because otherwise you wouldn't be here." Vena made a note to go and find out exactly why the girl was here, she was curious now. The girl's mum would have to be useful because otherwise Tom would have just killed the kid and her mum.

"I have a question," Nicole said. "Who ARE you people anyway?"

Vena smiled leaning against the wall. "If you don't know, I don't think I'm going to tell you."

"Please?" Nic asked. "I have a theory, but I wouldn't want to insult anyone with it if I were wrong." She was lying there, but eh, she had always been a great liar. But as far as Nicole and theories were concerned she didn't have one.

"I really don't care if you have a theory, me telling you would be well telling you. You might be miles of."

"Fine, so you won't tell me. I'll just figure it out on my own. Now on a different note, why the bloody hell are we just standing here? Not that I mind."

"Good question, which I don't have an answer to. So." She flicked her wand causing the girl to go backwards into the room. The room was impossible to exit without magic, and even with magic it was still pretty hard." Vena flicked her wand shutting and locking the door.

Nicole frowned at the closed and locked door in front of her, wondering if her mum knew yet and what was going on and all that stuff.

Lyssa frowned at Cassie. "I have one simple question for you. And I'm going to ask you as calmly as I can manage since flipping out would get us nowhere." She stopped for a moment. "How the bloody hell did you allow this to happen?"

Cassie ran a hand through her hair. "I told them not to leave the garden. They're smart kids, and they knew we were stressed about something so I figured they would listen. And I wasn't just going to ristrict them to the house."

"You should have at least widened how far any protection spells you have about extended. Smart or not, they're children. They're not going to think things all the way through. You should know that from experience."

Cj:

"I don't know," Cassie replied running a hand through her hair. She understood where Lyssa was coming from, she would be furious if Laurie had been at her place and then taken by Death Eaters. "I can barely manage to get the protective spells around the house and garden." She said defensively. "My wand work is worse then it was when I was younger." She scowled at the piece of wood that was sitting on the table.

Vena had been mostly right with why the girl had been taken. Her mother had done something to irritate Tom. She was, or had been, a Death Eater and hadn't gone to him when the mark burned. Which more was more courage then most of the Death Eaters showed. Though she'd left her daughter (Who Vena found out was Nicole Malfoy) unguarded someplace else.

"That's because you hardly ever use it," Lyssa pointed out to Cassie. "If you used it just a little more then you wouldn't have the problem that you do with magic. Honestly, you learned it for a reason." Saying things like this and actually just talking to Cassie in general, even about dreadful topics, reminded Lyssa so much of their school years.

Cj:

"I don't want to use it," Cassie muttered looking disdainfully at the thing. "It's brought nothing but trouble, it's useless and I have no need to use it."

Vena grumbled walking off to the room where the Malfoy girl was. She did appreciate getting bossed about and being told what to do. She flicked her wand, opening the door and stepping in. Seeing the girl sitting on the bed. "Oi Malfoy, You presence is required."

"Magic is trouble. It brings about terrible things when it's misused," Lyssa agreed.

Nicole looked at Vena from where she'd finally settled in the room. "I suppose whoever ordered me here told you my name, since I surely didn't tell you," was all she said, not moving from where she was.

Cj:

Vena ignored that. "Unless you plan on walking yourself, I can actually make you twirl and walk at the same time. Which is incredibly disorientating." She said, the girl's stubbornness was annoying her. She didn't mind stubbornness but not when people used it on her.

Nicole frowned and begrudgingly stood up. "I've dealt with enough disorienting stuff today. I don't need any more of it," she said. Then, quite slowly, she walked over to where Vena was standing. "Care to tell me who requires my presence?"

Cj:

"Not really. You'll find out soon enough anyway." Vena gestured out the door. Motioning for the girl to go first."And I'd advise against trying anything. I could hex you before you took a step in the wrong direction."

Nicole frowned as she stepped forward. "It would be nice to know beforehand, so that I can properly prepare myself for it. And also, I'm young, but I'm not stupid. I know better than to try anything stupid when I have no way to defend myself, and for that matter being so young I couldn't properly do that anyway, having not learned yet," she said, talking more and faster than she intended. It was a slight nervous habit of hers.

Cj:

Vena didn't reply setting off down the hallway with Malfoy in front of her, Malfoy was actually lucky to be walking herself as if any other Death Eater had gone to get her she would have been pulled towards the room. Vena stopped when they got to the drawing room. "Enter," She said to Malfoy.
