Kali and Addi: Take Two (hopefully we can handle it this time)

Kali sighed as she walked through the halls of Hogwarts with Addi. "I'm not looking forward to this lesson," she muttered. "It's probably going to be horrible with that stupid pig of a teacher telling us it's okay to hex people and then telling us the hexes to do it. As if." She snorted in the way she always did when she was flustered. The two of them reached the classroom, where the door was already opened. Kal just sort of looked into the room. "You can go in first if you'd like," she said to Addi.

Addi shrugged slightly at Kali, though she agreed. She didn't like the thought ofthe Death Eater controlling the school, they weren't going to learn anything helpful, just how to hurt people. She frowned walking into the classroom, students were already in there but the teacher wasn't yet. Addi gestured to some seats in the back row and the two girls sat down, expecting a boring class in which the teacher showed them spells that half a year ago would have been illegal.

Kali followed Addi to a set of desks at the back and sat down, promptly resting her chin on her palm and frowned, eyes to the front of the room although half closed because she was tired. School days and Kali did not mix properly and it took her until at least noon to wake up properly. A few minutes later the teacher, that stupid Carrow, entered the room.

Addi watched the Carrow, frowning. "You will all participate accordingly in this class," The Carrow started the lesson off saying. "Or else you will find youselves in a detension." Addi narrowed her eyes, she did not like where this could be going. Knowing Carrows there would be some not pleasant spells and Addi didn't like having to hurt people.

Kali frowned at the Carrow as they rambled on about participating in class. She did not want to, and she would not. Detention or not, she wasn't going to do anything harmful unless it was a possible life or death situation, and that was only because she preferred living. "I would prefer detention to participating in this class any day," she said, loud enough for everyone in the room to hear her.

"Then Miss Larson you have a detention tonight." Addi raised an eyebrow. "That's hardly fair," She exclaimed at the Carrow. "Miss Astrea you are joining her." Addi scowled. "I didn't do anything," She muttered grumpily under her breath. She was not a fan of detentions, and with the Carrows it would undoubtedly be worse then usual ones were.

"Fine by me," Kali said, showing that it didn't bother her one bit. The rest of the class was uneventful and unfortunately that night came upon the two of them quickly. Kali was standing at the bottom of the dorm stairs waiting for Addi to come down.

Addi frowned walking down the steps. "This is unfair," She exclaimed pushing her hair behind her ear. The two girls made their way out of the common room and towards the Carrow's office which they actually had no idea where it was. So when they got there they were slightly late.

Kali nodded in agreement to what Addi had said. "It really is quite unfair," she said. The two finally got to the office to find the Carrow standing at the door, looking horribly impatient since they were somewhat late, having supposed to have been there at six and it was now probably six fifteen.

The detention was not pleasant, Addi did not like getting hexed. She grumbled under her breath about what her parents would say if they knew, not that she would tell them. Kali left the classroom first, about five minutes before Addi as Addi had been last to get her punishment. Addi was about to leave the room when she got hit with a spell, though it didn't blast her into a wall or in any other way harm her. She frowned glancing at the Carrow and wondering what on earth that spell had done. She shrugged and then left the room heading to the common room.

Kali was waiting for Addi outside the door of the room, muttering under her breath about the detention. When the other girl came out of the office her muttering became more of a conversational thing. "That was possibly the most ridiculous thing ever," she said. "Wouldn't you agree?"

Addi glanced at her for a moment before she continued walking, not replying to what the girl had said. Inwardly Addi frowned, wondering why what she was babbling wasn't coming out of her mouth. She was furious at the Carrow. She wondered if she'd been silencioed. "Hm," She said, more to herself then Kali, although it sounded like it was to Kali. Not silencioed Addi thought inwardly frowning.

Kali frowned at Addi when the other girl seemed to be ignoring her. "Oi, do you plan to answer, or what?" she asked, getting in front of the girl.

Yes I plan to answer. She thought irritably. WHY AM I NOT ANSWERING?! Addi huffed inwardly, wondering why it wasn't outwardly. This was really starting to get on her nerves. Her eyes flickered to Kali again when the girl stood in front of her blocking her path. "Are you going to move?" Addi asked her. Why did that go through and not anything else I've been trying to say?

"I'll move when you tell me what the hell is up," Kali replied. "First you ignore me, then you don't answer when I ask you why you're ignoring me, and now all you're saying is telling me to move out of the way."

Not. My Fault. I've been trying! Addi was starting to get rather annoyed at this, it was confusing her. She didn't get why whatshe was saying wasn't being said. She could talk. "Nothing is up. Now would you mind moving?" Addi felt like whacking her head against the wall in frustration. What was coming through wasn't what she wanted to.

Kali frowned. "Something is up, and since you're being all avoid-y, maybe you should learn to walk around people," she said, crossing her arms, "because I'm not moving."

Ugh! "Go complain to someone who cares." Addi said taking a stride around her, she inwardly frowned. Meaning that to be a thought but instead coming out. What the hell is going on?

Kali stared at Addi for a short moment, before deciding that she was too bothered from classes and detention from that day to bother with it at the moment. She would just deal with it tomorrow. If Addi wanted to be all indifferent then fine. Kali would just chalk it up to the detention, but if it continued on then, then she would get concerned.

Addi liked walking through Hogwarts, the place was just so big and open and she just liked walking through it. Getting back to the common room Addi frowned pulling out her homework. It was only the first day and they had already gotten a bucketload of it. She was not looking forward to all the work that they were going to be getting this year. She was also wondering what on earth was happening with herself, why certain things she said weren't be said. While others were.

Kali walked back up to the common room, a tad slower than Addi had, so she arrived after the other girl. She wandered up to the dorms to work on her homework since that was where she had left her bag and couldn't be bothered going to get it then walking back down to the common room to do it.

Addi finished her homework and went up to the dorm room, dropping her books on the floor next to her bed she grabbed her guitar case.Unclicking the clasps she took out her guitar, flicking her wand to keep the music enclosed in a meter circle around her. She had learnt that a few years ago when her playing had started getting on the nerves of people in the dorm. After tuning it she grabbed her music and played for a little while. Since her homework hadn't taken too long and she didn't play her instrument for that long Addi got to bed at a resonable time.

Kali finished her homework easily and then just spent the next hour or so lounging on her bed, taking some time to wind down from the day. Then slowly her eyes had closed and she drifted off to sleep, quite early for her in fact.

Addi yawned waking up the next morning, she was going to wait for Kali to get up but for some reason she just didn't, getting changed, grabbing her bag and then walking out of the common room towards the great hall. She wished Gryffindor tower wasn't so far from everthing, she didn't like having to walk down all the stairs just to get to breakfast.

Kali, never one to get up early, or on time for that matter, woke up eventually, blinking slowly. She looked at the clock on her table and her eyes went wide for a moment. She had approximately five minutes to get to class or she was going to be late. Why the hell hadn't Addi woken her up like she normally did?
