Kali and Addi: Take Two (hopefully we can handle it this time)

Addi felt quite self concious walking through the school, she kept rubbing at her arm though she knew she probably shouldn't as that would bring attention to it. Which is the last thing she wanted.

Kali looked up as people came in the common room. She noticed Addi come in and considered saying hi, as the two had been on slightly better terms since her birthday, but she decided not to say anything.

""Hey," Addi said putting her hands in her pockets, to stop herself from rubbing her arm again.

"Er, hey," Kali replied, looking back down at the essay she was working on. "So how was your holiday? Did you finished your homework?"

""Holidays were alright," Addi lied, wanting to itch her arm. "And most of my homework was done." She shrugged.

"That's good," Kali commented as she scratched something out.

"Yeah.." Addi said with a slight shrug and a frown. She wondered whether to tell Kali about what had been going on, but if word got back to Voldemort..

Kali looked up. "What's up?" she asked. She had always known when something was bothering Addi. It was just something she knew.

"Nothing," Addi said, wishing that Kali wasn't quite so perceptive.

"Lair," Kali accused. "I can tell when you're upset, remember?"

Addi shrugged sitting down. "Can't talk about it," She said in a quiet tone.

Kali pondered on that for a moment. "Then don't talk about it. Write about it, and then since apparently it's not meant for me to know about we can just burn the page."

"No-body can know," Addi rephrased with a frown.

"Well then, hullo I'm nobody," Kali said half jokingly because she didn't like the tension of the conversation. "But seriously, Addi who would care if you told someone whatever it is that's bothering you?"

"My dad," Addi said. "And someone else." She wasn't going to say Voldemort as that might hint Kali about it.

"Someone else?" Kali asked, blinking slowly as she processed that bit. Who else could there be?

Addi shrugged lightly. She didn't want to talk aboutit, because that would lead to bad places and she would rather not end up dead.

"Tell me who it is, Adelicia. It's obviously bothering you," Kali pressed on.

"I can't Kali," Addi replied fidgiting nervously.

"Adelicia Ranya Astrea, you are going to tell me who it is, or I'm to stop talking to you again," Kali said, knowing she was being selfish, but this was something she felt she needed to know.

"Do you want me to end up dead?" Addi asked her, her temper rising. "Because if I tell you, I most probably will."

Kali frowned for a moment. "I wouldn't tell anyone. So there's no way you would die, since no one would know I knew."

"But he could find out from reading it out of my thoughts," Addi muttered looking at her feet.

"But you're at school. There's no way that anyone could get to you here."

Addi looked at her. "There are people at school," She murmered still looking at her lap. "Look Kal, I want to tell you but I can't."
