Kali and Addi: Take Two (hopefully we can handle it this time)

Christmas holidays passed faster then Addi would have liked, she got a few things she wanted but a lot that she didn't. She also wanted more muggle music and that but her parents hadn't gotten her that. She hadn't expected her parents to get her any though.

Kali's Christmas break was overall uneventful. She only got one present, from her aunt. None came from her parents though. She hadn't expected they would.

Addi got back to school and lugged her stuff back up to the Gryffindor common room.

Kali spent most of the remaining break after Christmas reading the book her aunt had sent and was doing so when everyone got back to the school.

Addi spent the day before school started on her own, spending mots of it outside on her Guitare which she hadn't had much of a chance to play all holidays.

The next day classes started up again. Kali really didn't want to go, but she had been training herself to wake up on time without help, so she may as well put it to good use and get an education. She was going to need it if she planned to get anywhere in life.

The first class the next day was Potions.

Kali walked to Potions with a frown, yawning ever so often along the way, not really wanting to bother with the class. It wasn't like she was going to become a Potions master or anything of that sort after school ended.

Addi sat down in her usaul spot, yawning softly. She was tired and would have liked to go back to bed.

Kali walked in the room and sat where she had been sitting starting at the time she and Addi had stopped talking, since Addi was still at the usual desk.

Slughorn partnered Addi and Kali together.

Kali got up to go sit with Addi, since she doubted Addi would go over to her.

"Hey," Addi said looking up as Kali came over. She was inwardly somewhat disgruntled about the teacher partnering them up. But she'd live. She needed to become freinds with the girl again anyway because it would help with the spying on the students.

"Talking to me are you?" Kali said, somewhat sarcastic. She knew they would have to talk to be proper partners, but it could do without all the pleasantries.

Addi looked at her for a moment shrugging. "Sorry about last term, I don't know what happened." She inwardly made a face.

"Right," Kali drawled out. "Like I'm really going to believe that. And if you actually meant the apology, it is not accepted."

"Suite yourself," Addi said with a slight shrug opening her potion book. "It's the truth."

"Well, then I don't have any reason to believe you. And I'd rather not believe you and end up hurt again, so sorry."

Addi shrugged again, gather the potions ingredients. "Well I'm telling the truth, come on Kal I've been your freind for what five years now? Every relationship has their ups and downs sometimes. I just guess that was our down."

"I don't care how long it's been. Sometimes one little thing will ruin a relationship. You said you didn't care anymore. You ignored me. You hung out with the Slytherins."

"Look I'm sorry," Addi said letting a hint of desperation enter her voice. "I don't know what happened, really, I think it was just all the pressure going on in my family at the moment that it just kind of got to me." She shrugged weakly looking down at her lap.

"And I've told you," Kali replied, getting frustrated. "I don't bloody care. I'm done dealing with you. Now, we're going to make this potion and then we're going to go back to not talking anymore."

Addi shrugged. And the girls got on with the potion.

The class went on, they finished the potion, and then class was over.

Crap happens and because Cj can't be bothered we're timeskipping to Kali's birthday.
