They say time heals everything. But I'm still waiting.

"Don't boss me around," Nicole muttered under her breath in an annoyed voice. She looked at the door of the room skeptically. "I don't want to enter. I don't know what's in there."

Cj:

"Well you are anyway," Vena flicked (I need to use something other then flick) her wand twice, once opened the door and the second gently pushed Nicole inside. Vena stepped in after her, shutting the door behind her.

Nicole turned to give Vena an angry look before she turned back around to examine the room. It was an okay room, she thought, if it weren't dark and if there wasn't a creepy looking person sitting in the only chair.

Cj:

Vena leaned against the wall next to the door, twirling her wand about in her hand. She looked at Tom who was watching the Malfoy girl. She didn't see what the point of bringing the girl in front of him was.

Nicole frowned at the person, trying to figure out a) who they were and b) what they wanted, which would probably be answered if she figured out a) first. And for some reason she had a guess, which she felt was probably right. "Not to be rude or anything," she said to the person, "but who the hell are you and what the hell do you want with me?"

Tom looked at the girl. "I'd advise you to watch your languge when in my presence." Vena rolled her eyes at him. "The answer the the second question is to replace your mother as a Death Eater as she so recklessly decided not to respond to my call."

Nicole quite nearly laughed at him, even though she had a large feeling that would have been a bad thing to do. "Good luck with getting me to do that," she said, faking a smile.

Tom raised an eyebrow at the girl. He'd seen quite a lot of stubborn people in his life and they really did not phase him. "You will do, and there will be consequences if you don't. I don't really think your mother would like it much if you came home in a few dozen peices."

"I'm quite sure she would mind that a fair bit, but at the same time I'm sure she would be proud that I hadn't given in to you. I'm fairly certain she regrets it herself, which would be part of the reason she left this side."

Tom ignored her, which Vena had expected that he would. he tended to ignore things that he didn't like. He turned to Vena. "Venomous," Vena made a face at the name. She really did hate that name. "That is your responsibility." Vena frowned at him. She did not want to teach this kid how to fight. "I'm not going to do it." She said with her eyes narrowed. "Yes, you are. You seem to forget Venomous that being my daughter does not give you the right to do as you please."

Nicole frowned. That girl was his daughter? Sucks to be her, for both her parent and her name. Then she tuned back in long enough to say. "She doesn't have to do anything, because I'm not going to cooperate with it anyway."

"Yes both of you are, and I found out that you have not. there will be consequences for both of her." Vena frowned at him, she was not giving a child lessons. Both because she did not want to and she'd physically hurt her during it and Vena had a thing against hurting children.

"Right, and Mr. Thinks-He's-So-Awesome-and-Smart, how am I even meant to do any of this? My wand is at my house, where I am currently not."

"There is a wandmaker in the house," Tom said. "You will get a new one created. In the meantime, I'm sure Venomous can come up with something to do that doens't involve you needing a wand." Vena growled lightly at him, which he ignored.

Nicole scowled at him. Did he think he had the answer to everything? "Or, I have a better idea. You let me go home to my wand, and then I stay there with my mum, and you leave us alone forever. I think my idea is much better than yours."

Vena watched Tom warily. He flicked his wand nonverballing the incantation. Which Vena recognised when it hit the girl. Whip-like things flashed across the girl's face. Vena didn't like that spell but considering what Tom could do it was quite pleasant. He looked at Vena. "You will start immeadietly." And then walked out of the room.

Nicole gave a rather harsh flinch to the result of the spell, but didn't give any other indication that she'd even felt it. She had an insane tolerance for pain. "Stupid bloody bastard," she muttered under her breath, knowing her mum would have a fit at the language she'd been using.

Vena agreed with the kid but she didn't say anything. She frowned into the wall, muttering inwardly about not liking being told what to do. Not that anyone really did.

A matter of about five or so years passed by, and by now Nic was 17. She had been stuck with Voldemort and the Death Eaters all of those five years.

Voldemort was nearly in charge of the wizarding world, and much to Laurie's annoyance she was pulled out of Hogwarts sometime in her sixth year. She didn't like it. But Cassie wasn't taking chances. Severus was more upset than Laurie because he didn't even get to go to Hogwarts. Both kids grumbled about the un-fairness of it but Cassie didn't care. She was going to protect her children, even if she hadn't been able to protect herself when she was that age of Nic when she had stayed over when the girls were twelve. Which Cassie still felt really bad about.

It was quite easy to get fed up with all of the stupid Death Eaters. This had become evident over the last couple of years. So Nicole had taken to going to London and exploring to clear her head about the matter. Never got stopped from doing it either. It wasn't like she didn't know how to protect herself.

Laurie sighed, walking through aimless streets of London. She was tired of her mother telling her she couldn't go places. She was old enough to look after her bloody self and she was pissed that she'd been pulled out of Hogwarts. Her wand was in her pocket, though really just for protection then because she'd use it. Though she couldn't get kicked out of school for using magic when she wans't even at school.

Nicole was walking through the streets on one such occasion. As she rounded a corner she bumped into someone and nearly fell completely backward on the pavement. "Watch where you're going," she snapped irritably.

"You walked into me," Laurie said defensivly, steading herself before she nearly feel over. She glanced up at who-ever she had walked into and her eyes widened. "Nicole!" She exclaimed.

Nicole stared at the girl in front of her, trying to match the face with a name. She had obviously known her at some point. But mostly she just remember from when she was 12 to the present. Finally, she had the name. "Laurie."
