Different as Can Be :P

"Then it's not good idea." Vena replied with a ligh shrug.

Nicole scowled at her. "Bugger off, Riddle," she said. "Maybe if you taught more often then you beat me, I would be better."

Vena rolled her eyes. "I am teaching Malfoy," She replied.

"Then explain to me how disarming me again and again is teaching me anything," Nicole challenged, "because I don't see it."

"Because when you're dueling people aren't going to wait until you're ready and paying attension, they won't even disarm you. They'd probably hex you. Or worse."

"Well, then maybe you should teach how to stop them. All you ever do is disarm me. Teach me a new spell for once."

"Alright," Vena said pleasantly. She flicked her wand, nonverballing a spell. Which ended up binding Nicole in rope. "New spell." She said. "Now, if that happened in a fight what would you do?"

"Oi! What the fuck?!" Nicole said loudly as she looked at the rope. Then she tried to budge out of it, which only succeeded in making her fall over. "Ow....bloody hell..." She looked at Vena with a scowl. "I don't know what the hell I would do. Why don't you enlighten me?"

Vena rolled her eyes. "Well you are still holding a wand," She said with a raised eyebrow. She flicked her wand, disarming the girl. "And there goes your chance." She said pleasantly.

"Right," Nicole said, sarcasm leaking into her voice, "because I do so much with a wand when I can't move my arms properly and when I don't know the counter."

"You're hopeless," Vena said with an irritated sigh, she turned on her foot walking out of the room. aware that Nicole was still stuck in there. She had had enough of Nicole not trying and just being snappy at Vena. Sure her techniques were a bit different but meh.

Nicole blinked as Vena left the room. "Oi! Get the fuck back here, damn you!" she shouted after the girl, as she was still fallen over on the floor and tied up.

Vena ignored the girl. Leaving to do something else, she came back in half an hour later. Flicking her wand to release the binds on the girl.

In the time that Vena was gone Nicole had managed to get herself into a sitting position. She scowled at the girl as the ropes disappeared. "Okay," she said, "I get it. I'll try to do something from now on. No need to freaking leave me tied up."

Without a word Vena threw Nicole back her wand. Then flicked her wand, binding the girl again. "Alright," She said. "What would you do?"

Nicole frowned at Vena and thought about it for a second. It was worth a shot she supposed. And so Nicole attempted to Apparate out of the ropes, which much to her surprise worked. "Apparently," she said, "I'm going to do that."

"See," Vena said. "You could do something, if you're still holding a wand there's quite a bit you can do. When you lose you're wand is when you're stuffed."

"If I lose my wand, but still have the ability to run, that's what I'm going to do," Nicole said. "'Although, I'm not sure what I would do with my wand in a place where I can't Apparate. I didn't get that far yet."

*enter whole explaining battle scene*

Nicole had no clue what the hell she was doing. She wasn't half as good at dueling as most of the people around her, which could later bode well, unless she kept avoiding them all like she was. She was great at dodging things and moving away; she wasn't great at fighting back.

Ash sent a spell at some Death Eater, she was an alright duelist. She'd been out of school for five years.

Nic deflected the spell that was aimed at her, and sent one back at the person. She really didn't want to be here doing this, but she didn't get a choice in the matter.

Ash deflected the spell sent back at her and then sent another one at the girl. She didn't look old enough to be even out of school yet.

The two went back and forth like that for a while, Nicole realizing that this person had the potential to beat her. Well, actually she probably had more than just the potential, and would probably beat her if Nic didn't get away from her soon. But with all the fighting going on, getting away from it would be difficult.

It took a little longer but Ash disarmed the girl, catching the wand as it soured into the air. And then she flicked her wand binding the girl in rope.
