Different as Can Be :P

Nicole's eyes went incredibly wide as she got disarmed. That was the one thing Vena had always told her to avoid. Then as she tried to step away from the girl that had done the deed, she found herself bound up in rope. That was when she got terrified, not wanting to imagine where this would lead for her. She opened her mouth, as if to talk her way out of it all, but couldn't properly form words. She didn't reaction well under pressure, or when things titled out of her favor.

Ash grabbed the girl by the arm and apperated the girl to the ministry. There was some talking to some ministry person and he took the girl off Ash's hands. She then went back to the fighting.

Nicole yanked weakly against Ash's grip, as that was all she could manage, then she repeated the action with the ministry person. "Let go," she whimpered to them, still terrified out of her mind. "Please?" She was really trying to be cute, and pitiful, and polite, as that had gotten her her way before. She doubted it would work here, but it was worth a try.

The guy ignored thegirl, taking her down to one of the holding cells they had near the courtrooms.

Where Nicole promptly started to get even more terrified than she was previously.

Vena scowled upon finding out that Nicole had gotten herself captured. "Good going," She muttered to herself, though she was partly worried for her. And to what could happen.

It was probably only like a day, although it felt like ages longer, before Nicole found herself being pulled from the holding cell she'd been placed in. After finally having successfully calmed herself down, this only served to panic her again.

It had taken some time but Vena finally got the idiot of a Ministry to allow her into the trial of Nicole. She had just had to convince them she wasn't a Death Eater first. Which was harder then it seemed, the ministry seemed to think that just because she was a Riddle meant that she was a Death Eater. It annoyed her considerably. She was sitting in the stands, when Nicole was brought into the room and taken to a chair in the middle. Which locked her hands in place. Vena could tell that the girl was scared. She frowned.

Nic was brought into a room and made to sit in the chair in the middle of it. That she could deal with. What she couldn't deal with was when some chains on the side of the chair moved on their own and locked on her arms. She looked around the room for a second, seeing all of the ministry people, and then finally seeing Vena. Nic's mum was also there.

So, Nic sat in the chair, trying not to start shaking, when the head official guy spoke up. "July 18th, on the trial of one Nicolette Malfoy, start time at approximately 1pm." So much for not shaking. Nicole looked at the guy terrified.

"*enter crappy sentence about what the heck Nic had been doing* Miss Malfoy, how do you plead?" The stupid idiot of a ministry guy said and Cj really wants to whack him over the head. Yeah..

Nic looked at the guy, quite obviously still very scared. She opened her mouth to answer him, but couldn't seem to form any sort of words. So instead she just looked like a gaping fish sort of.

Vena sighed watching Nicole, who was sort of just looking at the guy and not saying anything about the claims. She was hoping that Nic would snap out of it and do something and not just sit there because that would not bode well for the girl.

Nic, while she was still shaking, closed her eyes and stopped her fish-gaping. She took a deep breath for a second. "I-I didn't do any of those things," she finally managed to say. Maybe if she kept her eyes closed and didn't look at the people in the room she could talk properly.

Im tired. Cant we just be Death Eaters?

Okey, so as much as Tsuki doesn't want to be the one to do this, she's going to waffle over the trial thing. So, okey, the guy started asking Nic some questions which basically freaked her out, and she stuttered through most of them, which was somewhat bad I suppose. And yeah...So they finished that up and the guy said it was time to vote.

"Wait," Vena said getting the ministry person's attention. He sighed but let her continue. Vena looked around the courtroom. "Alright," She said. "Now I know most of you probably don't believe a word Nicole has been saying. Which If you're judging who is right and who is wrong is probably a good thing. But what she did isn't actually why she's here. It's why she did it. She didn't because she could and because she wanted to. She was twelve when she kidnapped by Death Eaters. She didn't really have a choice. Or the only one she did have was do as Voldemort," She rolled her eyes at the gasps. "said or die. Now, you would probably say Death is better then helping him, maybe now she'd agree, maybe she wouldn't. But look into the mind of a twelve year old. Who would be scared out of their wits about what is going on and just want to get back to their family. At that stage, if someone says that doing what they say might allow them to get home. They'll do it." Vena looked around the room again and glanced at Nicole. "I think you need to take into consideration of the fact that she's young and young people don't always have control of how their lives turn out."

Nic looked at Vena, opening her eyes for the first time since she shut them at the beginning. Then she looked at the bunch of ministry people. The guy called for the vote now that Vena was done talking.

They voted and Vena smiled when more people voted for not-guilt then guilty. (as Innocent doesn't really work) The Ministry guy frowned. "Miss Malfoy is here-by cleared of all charges." He said though he looked somewhat annoyed at the fact. Vena rolled her eyes at him. He was upset because he didn't send a seventeen yer old to Azkaban.

Nic sat in the chair shaking, worried over what was gonna happen to her. She watched with wide eyes as the people voted what they thought she deserved. She bit her lip as the people voting for guilty went first, but she could see that a clear majority had not voted that. She was safe. But, that didn't mean she jumped any less when it was announced and the chains unlocked. She rubbed at her wrists, even though they weren't hurt or anything. She was just relieved.

Vena smiled softly at the girl, but didn't walk over as she was pretty sure the girl's mother woukd want to t=be with her.

But, Nicole could really care less if her mother wanted to talk to her. She hadn't spoken with her in five years, she was just fine without talking to her for ten more minutes. She got up, still a little shaky and walked straight to Vena. "I'm an idiot, aren't I?"

Vena looked at Nicole. "Yes," She said with a slight sigh. "You were, you are actually quite lucky that the ministry let me in here. Because otherwise you would be on your way to Azkaban round about now."

Nic sighed. "I know," she muttered. "And I don't think I've ever been more terrified of anything more in my entire life."

Vena looked at her for another moment. "If you want to, go and talk with your mother because I want to get out of the ministry as quick as we can. I really don't like it here."

Nicole frowned for a minute. "I don't know that I want to," she muttered. "She's probably really disappointed in me, and I don't think I want to deal with that. It'd be best for everyone if I just didn't."
