It's hard to fight when the fight aint fair.

Lyssa didn't bother gracing Regan with any sort of reply to her words to something of the sort. She just sat back up and leaned on the wall, closing her eyes. Lyss already was rethinking things, but she kept telling herself that giving in was not an option. It would mean not only betraying her morals, but betraying her best friend as well, and Lyssa wasn't anywhere near willing to do that.

Regan hummed merrily as she went back up the main area of the house. She made herself some lunch and then sat down eating it while reading, she had nearly finished the book and wanted to get it done soon.

A while later, Lyssa was standing up, testing just how far she could get around with the chain on her ankle, although she felt rather stupid walking around in a half circle with her hands tied behind her.

Regan went down to the room the next morning after breakfast, she was in a good mood but she doubted the inhabitant in the room was. "Good morning," She said sitting down, picking up the apple and starting to thow i.t

Lyssa didn't reply. She didn't acknowledge Regan's entrance at all. But, she did notice the apple. She had gotten really hungry sometime the night before, and she knew it was there, and she knew it was too far away. But now, she had a chance to get it again. (As a Malfoy, she's probably never gone more than a few hours of being hungry, let alone a day...)

"Want the apple?" Regan asked her grinning.

Lyssa looked at the apple, noting just how hungry she felt. It hadn't been nearly as noticeable before, when she'd known the apple was out of her reach, but now she had a chance to gain it. Slowly, her head inclined and then rose back up to look at the fruit again. "Yes," she whispered, not daring to speak louder for fear of sounding pitiable.

Regan smirked looking at the girl and the quiet tone she talked in. "You forgot something," She said in an annoying tone, referring to the word please. She threw the apple up again, watching it spin.

Lyssa closed her eyes with a frown. She knew what the other girl wanted; she wasn't an idiot. And she had been raised on manners. With a small sigh, Lyssa added a whispered, "Please?"

"Aw come on," Regan said smirking. "Say it like you mean it."

Lyssa opened her eyes and looked at Regan, eyes halfway pleading. "You're going to make me beg for it aren't you?" she asked. "Or at least demean me enough to hurt my pride." Her eyes moved to the ground, quiet again, waiting for Regan's answer.

Regan smirked at her. "Not as stupid as you look," She commented watching the apple. "So," She said. "How much do you want this apple?" She cocked her head to the side, smiling wickedly.

Lyssa frowned at her. "Not enough to beg for it," she answered, but her stomach seemed to have something else in mind as it growled.

"Suite yourself, but keep in mind, I'm not offering again until around this time tomorrow." She shrugged lightly, smirking malevolently.

"You do know," Lyssa said, stopping to clear her throat, "that if you keep this up then I'm going to dehydrate and die."

Regan looked at her. "You can last a bit without food, while it wouldn't be pleasant and you'd be pretty hungry you can , water not so long. But," She shrugged. "I can just force water down your throat is need-be. Food, I'm just going to wait until I really need to feed you. So if you want to wait like a week or something before you eat next. That's fine by me."

Lyssa just looked at her silently. Regan certainly had some sort of insanity working for her, and Lyssa certainly did not want to put up with it.

Regan shrugged again, she pulled out her wand facing it at the girl. Knowing that she hadn't changed her mind. Because she would have said something if she had. She flicked her wand, casting a spell that cut the air off for a moment, and then smothered the girl with air. She stopped it for a moment, letting the girl catch a gasp or so of air before repeating it. She ended the spell for the second time, watching as the girl spluttered trying to catch her breath.

Lyssa pulled her knees up and rested her forehead on them as she worked to control her breathing again. She decided she definitely did not like being unable to breath and that she was going to try avoiding that happen again if she had a chance to.

Regan stood up. "Have a nice day," She said with fake pleasantry before walking out of the room. Regan grabbed a few things, before walking out of the door as she had somewhere she needed to be.

Lyssa lifted her head up just enough to see Regan leave the room. Then she put it back down, still breathing deeply. Eventually, sometime later, she was completely calmed down again.

Regan did her stuff and came back home, grabbing her book and sitting down to read it. She absentmindedly wondered how long it would take to get the girl in the basement to give up and just do as the dark lord ordered her too.

Lyssa eventually leaned on the wall behind her and closed her eyes. She had nothing better to do so she might as well try to get some sleep. But she couldn't get properly to sleep. She was too hungry and her body was not used to going very long between meals. So she was feeling quite sick. She needed to eat the next the chance was offered, but she really didn't want to beg for it.

It was late-ish when Regan got to bed, so she slept in longer the next morning. After a lateish breakfast she made her way down to the cellar picking the apple up for the third day in a row. "Hungry yet?" Regan asked cocking her head to the side.

"Yes," Lyssa answered her, "and you already knew that as I was hungry starting nearly two days ago." She stopped to clear her throat up, since it was really dry.
