"If you're pissed of at me, take it out on me. Leave her out of it." Cassie's eyes flared.

"Obviously you do not know the rules of this household. In this house, the host of the guest is responsible for them and their actions. If they fail to meet this responsibility, then they are punished."

"I don't care what your stupid rules are," Cassie snarled. "There is little use punishing someone for someone elses actions, because they can not do a thing to make someone else act in a different way."

Lyssa, who was now cowering somewhere over by her bed, finally found her voice again. "Cassie, butt out."

Cassie's eyes flared and she opened her mouth to say something, but she shut it again. It would do little use to get kicked out, then she wouldn't be able to do anything at all. She bit her tongue, giving Lucius the darkest look she could manage.

Lyssa looked at Lucius who was glaring at Cassie. "Father, please..." she said quietly, still looking at him. His gaze switched to her before he frowned and walked out. Lyssa knew it wasn't totally over, but she would take it being over for now while she could.

"Bastard," Cassie scowled once she was sure Lucius was safely out of earshot.

Lyssa nodded pushing herself up on her bed and wincing as it jostled many sore spots.

Cassie frowned. "I wish I could heal those," She said looking at her. "Not that we can use magic out of school anyway."

Lyssa gave her a faint smile. "I'll be fine, eventually," she said. "Hopefully a good while before school starts."

Cassie chewed on the inside of her lip. "Hopefully," She breathed.

"You know..." Lyssa muttered. "This isn't the first time something like this has happened. The worst? Yes. But, the first? No."

Cassie's eyes darkened. "Fucking bastard," She snarled. "He has no fricken right to do that too you."

"He sure thinks he does," Lyssa said. "But, this has been going on every summer since first year. He's just sore that I'm in Gryffindor. It's one of the reason I like to stay at your house for the hols."

Cassie growled. "That's ridiculous! Doesn't your mother do anything about it? Or anyone for that matter?"

"Mum's tried," Lyssa muttered. "Draco doesn't know. And neither does anyone else, except you."

"Ridiculous," Cassie scowled.

"You can't tell anyone. Got it?"

"It has to be stopped Lyssa."

"It will be. Just...just gimme some time. Please?"

Cassie looked at her, and sighed. "Fine," She said, her fist clenched. She ran her other hand through her hair.

"Cass, I'm sorry. I just....don't want this getting out," Lyssa muttered looking away. "If some sort of rumor started and Lucius heard..."

"He'd gets what's coming to him," Cassie muttered bitterly, but she nodded at Lyssa. "I know what you're worred about. Okay. I won't tell."
