I Don't Play Your Rules, I Make My Own

"Lovely," Cassie muttered bitterly. The two girls made their way to the manor, entering the room that the meeting was in.

"Oh, look," Lyssa muttered. "There's a table to sit at this time! Better than standing I guess."

"Hm," Cassie said.

Lyssa looked around the table, and spotted her family, going over to them, leaving Cassie to go elsewhere or follow.

Cassie followed, she wasn't going to sit on her own.

Lyssa sat down by Draco. "Any idea what's up?" she asked quietly.

Cassie sat down next to Lyssa. Her eyes flickering about the room.

Draco shook his head. "Guess we'll see though." Lyssa nodded in response.

Cassie felt uncomfortable siting in a room full of Death Eaters, she didn't like it, and she didn't like that she was tecnacly classed as a Death Eater Now.

Soon, Voldemort was in the chair at the head of the table and was talking about some random stuff that Tsuki can't bother thinking of. Lyssa tuned it out mostly, since she'd never been involved in anything before, until Voldemort said one thing that caught her attention. "And this time, each of our younger newer members will be joining the older, more experienced ones, to learn the tools of the trade."

Cassie's eyes narrowed at Voldemort. Heck as likely, she wasn't going to, there was no way. Her eyes flashed and she glanced at Lyssa, wondering what her opinion on it was.

Lyssa frowned, but otherwise didn't show any reaction. She'd do that later, when she and Cassie were back home. If Voldemort thought she was overly displeased he'd be even more suspicious of her, and that would just be bad news.

Cassie frowned, her arms crossed. She wasn't going to take part in that, it stood against what she believed.

Voldemort gave some details for what was to happen and then dismissed the meeting and Cass and Lyssa went home.

Cassie scowled, sitting down on the couch. While she had been in a somewhat decent mood earlier now she was just pissed off and grumpy.

"I can't believe him!" Lyssa shouted as she fell into an armchair. "He KNOWS neither of us support him and he goes and pulls that stupid stunt!"

Cassie scowled. "Of course he does, that's his job for fricken sake." She got up off of the couch, picked a picture off of the table and threw it into the wall. "He's going to fricken make us, andI can't do that. I can't." She clenched her fist to stop herself picking something else up and throwing it.

"And you think I want to?!" Lyssa cried, incredulous. "But, he'll kill us otherwise, and what good are we to the world dead?"

"Id rather be dead then kill people, but I'm not gonna let my family die."

"Yeah," Lyssa said with a heavy sigh.

Cassie scowled, pacing around the room as she passed a table she swipped at what was on it. Smashing it to the ground.

Lyssa winced at the sound of the crashing, but didn't comment. Angry Cassie was nothing something you messed with.

A few days passed and the marks burned again.

Lyssa frowned at the burning, muttering "That bastard" under her breath. Then she looked to Cassie. "Suppose we should go?"
