I Don't Play Your Rules, I Make My Own

And got food.

Having not eaten much lately the girl didn't have a big appetite, to she mostly picked at her food.

"You know....it might seem selfish of me....but I'm really glad you're here now..."

"Uhm," Cassie said prodding her food. Unsure exactly how to reply to that.

"Well, you were here, but like in the cellar.... so I mean like not in the cellar. Draco is not good company..."

"I'd rather be home," Cassie muttered pushing her plate away from her.

"I'd rather not be home, because well I am home...."

Cassie shrugged.

"Maybe soon..." Lyssa muttered. "Like we could just leave..."

"Our families would be targeted then," Cassie said softly.

"Cassie, dear, that's not what I meant. I could just tell mum I'm moving out and taking you with me. We're adults after all. We'd just have to come back when we're meant to."

"i guess maybe yeah,' Cassie said.

"Better than being here all the time, neh? And you could see your family."

"Mmm," Cassie said with a nod. She missed her family. "I have a place my aunt left me?" She suggested.

"That would work," Lyssa said with a smile.

"Cool," Cassie said. She sighed.

"I'll just go tell mum now, so she can get used to the idea, and then we can plan from there."

"Okay," Cassie said with a nod.

So Lyssa went off in search of her mum.

And Cassie headed back to the room she was in.

A little while later, Lyssa went to find Cassie. Walking in without knocking, she said, "Mum doesn't like the idea, but she's not planning to stop it. So, we're free to go like tomorrow."

"Okay," Cassie said with a nod. "I'm going to need to get me case and stuff."

"Suppose so, yeah. We can handle that later, though."

"Okay," Cassie said.

So, they went about moving out of the Manor and such as that.

It was a couple weeks later, when the two were sitting around talking about nothing too important that Lyssa winced as her forearm had just hurt a little. "Suppose that's our cue to get going?" she suggested to Cassie.
