I Don't Play Your Rules, I Make My Own

"Oh really?" Regan asked with a raised eyebrow. She gestured with her hand and before Cassie had any idea what was going on a second Death Eater appeared and grabbed her, her arms held behind her back. Cassie thrashed, which did nothing. Rather lazily Regan turned to Lyssa. "Your little freind can't do anything now." And she pointed her wand at her, muttering the curse. "Your choice Evans, you can stand there watching your freind be tortured into insanity or you can agree to kill a muggle. Who really are a waste of space." She smirked.

Lyssa's eyes went wide and she took an involuntary step back when Cassie got grabbed. She should have just kept her mouth shut. And then she was on the ground in pain from the curse. Her eyes looked for Cassie, and found her.

Cassie paniced, but she knew what the answer to the question was. She couldn't let Lyssa be tortured, but, she couldn't murder. She couldn't take someone elses life. Though in Lyssa's case, she didn't have to do anything, she wouldn't be made into a murderer.. Cassie ignored that thought as soon as it appeared in her mind. She wasn't going to sit by and watch her freind in pain, and well, if that ended someone elses life then she'd have to live with that. But..that person would have a family, that person would have people who loved them. They'd be people devastated by the death of those people. But then, her family. They would be targeted. Cassie scowled, and glared at Regan with a look that rivaled the glare she gave Voldemort. "Fine," She snarled. Ignoring the screaming protests in her head.

Lyssa, at some point during Cassie's contemplating, stopped paying attention to the people, and put her attention on not crying out or something. That would just make her seem weak.

"Let her go," Cassie snarled. Regan laughed. "No," She said smirking. "Not until you've pulled through with your side of the bargain." Cassie's eyes narrowed and the Death Eater holding her back loosened their grip. Ready to grab the Gryffindor again if she darted forward. "How am I meant to? You need to mean unforgiveables." "You're a Gryffindor, I'm sure you'll think of something." Giving Regan a filthy look Cassie pulled her arms free and walked off towards the fray. Holding her wand shakily.

At some point or other, Lyssa started to make small whining noises. It hurt and she wanted it to stop.

Cassie had to stop herself from sending a spell at a Death Eater as she came closer to the fighting. She could hear screaming, adult and child alike. She swallowed hard, her wand held alof shakily. She saw a muggle skulking in the corner, hidden in the shadows. She didn't want to, but she had to. Hating herself every moment she sent a spell at the muggle, causing them to fly back into the wall hitting their head hard enough to kill them. The Death Eater who had been following her, dragged her over to make sure they were dead. Which, thankfully there were. Because Cassie couldnm't stand to have to do that again. "Let her go," She snarled at Regan getting back there. Regan glanced at the Death Eater following Cassie who nodded. Regan ended the spell.

Lyssa could feel that the spell was over, but she still hurt all over and was rather dazed at the moment. So, she just continued to lay there on the ground, occasionally whining.

"Okay Malfoy, your turn," Regan said, her wand now pointed directly at Cassie who in turn raised hers at Regan. "Oh I wouldn't do that Evans, not if you want to go through what she just did all over again." She grinned wickedly. Cassie scowled and rather reluctently lowered her wand trying not to think about what just happened. Regan smiled at her. And flicked her wand, the next moment Cassie was in pain. She pushed it off but Regan just cast it again.

At Regan's words, Lyssa forced herself to sit up. "Gimme a minute to get myself back together before you go casting things," she said to Regan. "I'm no use at all when I can't even fucking stand up." She put her hand to her head when she felt dizzy for a moment, but it passed.

Cassie scrunched her face up from the pain, she kept trying to push it off but Regan only cast it again. Which didn't stop her from continueing of course. She kept her lips firmly clamped shut. Stoping herself from whimpering. "Take your time Malfoy, but I'm not going to stop while you do. Fighter your freind is, wonder how long she can take it though."

"Go jump in a hole filled with rocks," Lyssa muttered, pushing herself to her feet with effort, and swaying slightly when she stood straight. Her legs felt like jell-o, but there was no fixing that just yet. She honestly didn't have time for resting.

"Where's the fun in that?" Regan asked grinning. Cassie scrunched her eyes, curling into a ball holding her knee's tightly. She had to stop herself from wimpering and crying out.

"Whatever," Lyssa muttered, looking at the second Death Eater. "I suppose you're following me?"

The other DE nodded.

Lyssa glared at it, before taking a few uneasy steps towards the place with the muggles. And tsuki will expand later, but she is on a time limit right now. But, the muggle is dead. So, Lyssa walked back over.

After waiting for comformation Regan ended the spell, Cassie who was feeling somewhat hazy stumbled to her feet, though they buckled under her the next moment. She scowled, willing her body to stop hurting, so she could stand up.

Lyssa immediately went over and knelt by Cassie. "I'm so so so sorry that I wasn't faster," she said.

"Sfine," Cassie mumbled, blinking a few time as if that would clear her mind. She stood up again, this time staying on her feet. She was still sore, but more in control of her body.

Lyssa straightened up as well, glaring at the Death Eaters. "Satisfied, now?"

Regan smirked at her. "No, but it'll do." She flounced off to rejoin the fray, the other DE following.

Lyssa scowled after her. "She's about as wacky as they come..."

Cassie nodded with a scowl. "I think she likes it that way." She said.

"She needs to get her head checked."

"Yeah" Cassie said. "She does."
