Just a day like any.

"Demi, there was absolutely no connection between those thoughts..." Drew shook his head.

"Does there have to be? And I can connect them. You aren't awesome. I am awesome. I am also hungry. Can we get food?"

Drew raised an eyebrow. "You're a one of a kind, Demi... but okay. We can get food."

"Yay!" she grinned. "Do you reckon the marauders have been to the common room yet?" she asked as they headed off towards the great hall.

Drew thought for a second before answering. "Probably not. They probably will not see it for another half an hour or so, so if we eat quickly, we might be able to actually see their reactions in person, if you would like."

She grinned. "Oh, today is a good day. I do want to see their reactions," she paused and nodded. "Alright, lets grab some food and go back to the common room where maybe the prefects can save me when the Marauders figure it out."

Drew grinned. "I don't even think the prefects will be able to save you after this one. It is going to be very, very interesting to see how this plays out."

she sighed. "I suppose Remus isn't going to be very happy either, and he usually stops them from trying to kill me... maybe if I hide behind Lily, Potter will be so overcome by her he'll forget all about me."

Drew couldn't help but laugh at that one. "I think that even Lily couldn't save you on this one, Dem. You covered their room in honey."

She paused thoughtfully. "What about I blame one of the first years?"

Drew shook his head. "No one would buy that, Dem. That was an advanced prank."

"I suppose it is. And why would I want to give first years credit for my pranks anyway?" she nodded. "Oh well. If I die, I want tulips at my funeral."

Drew pretended to write down Demi's request in a notebook. "What color would you like those tulips to be, Madame Demi?"

She paused thoughtfully. "Purple! Or yes purple. Maybe some blue... and a few white." she nodded.

"So purple, blue, and white? I'll make sure the florist takes this into account at your funeral." Drew grinned.

She nodded solemnly. "Good. I haven't drawn my will up, but I suppose my family can distribute it. Maybe I'll set something beside that'll attack the marauders even when I'm dead."

Drew grinned. "I would say that I should get all your books, but I fear you've abused all of those beyond recognition."

"Well, it's not like my parents will have much use for them. Or anyone else. Well that's my magical books I mean, you can have my school books and other magical books. And some other books I own if you want."

"That would be brilliant. Except, I don't want you to die, so hopefully it doesn't matter. However, if you do, I really would like for your books to go to good hands."

SHe grinned. "I don't want to die either. I still have a few years left of bothering the marauders. Come on," she dragged him through the doors to the great hall. "Food."

Drew followed Demi into the dining hall. They ate really quickly and went to go back to the dormitories.

Demi was almost bouncing when she gave the portrait the password. "THis.shall.be.great!"

Drew held her back. "Calm down. Don't give anything away."

"Right," she turned to him trying to calm herself down. "Do I go for the 'I don't know what you are talking about' approach, or the 'you deserved it and i'm a genius'?"

"The first one. Definitely."
