Cassie and Lyssa AE 6

"Because as Headmaster you are in my care," "Why does it matter though?" I asked frowning, "It's not like if we randomly disapear anyone else can do anything about it, Voldemort is running the freaking ministy so you'll get no trouble there," I looked behind the Professor at Dumbledore's portrait who had a knowing look on his face, there was something going on here. "I have had enough of this nonsence," Snape barked. "Get back to class and be at the gargole at five, exactly." "You can't make me," I snapped. He smiled. "but I can,"

"I don't think I'll be there. See as I've said before I have better things to do with my time." I gave Snape a fake smile and opened the door to the office that had closed when we'd come in. "And besides, you can't make me do something I don't want to do, and I don't want to go to detention. Saying you can make us would mean taking away our free-will in a way, and I don't think you'd like that very much. Have a good rest of the day." Then I walked out.

I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. "Afternoon Professor," I muttered shaking my head at Lyssa, I walked to the door and turned around as my name was called again, though this time it wasn't Snape it was Dumbledore. "Try and make Miss Malfoy see sence, it'll be hard on both of you if you continue to fight," I nodded. "Alright Sir," I walked out of the office still frowning and walked down to Potions wondering if Lyssa was there or not, there was something odd about and not just Lyss, Snape too...

Lyssa walked angrily down the hallways of the school, muttering to herself about ridiculous this and ridiculous that. She wondered her way up the stairs to Gryffindor Tower, instead of down to Potions class. She just...she needed a break from things and people and classes and life in general. With a heavy sigh, Lyssa gave the portrait the password and entered the empty common room. She stretched out on the couch in front of the fireplace with another sigh,

Cassie sighed and madea face when she realised she'd left her books in the common room. Muttering under her breath she ignored Lyssa and grabbed her back, maybe she'd left the one she was looking for in the classroom or something. She was wondering why Snape's personality had changed slightly, while still his annoying and bitter self he oddly seemed like he was trying to help. Pushing it out of her mind Cassie started walked out of the dorm and into the common room.

Over the next week or so Lyssa was quieter than normal and she stayed away from everyone, taking her much needed break from people and things. At time she had a somewhat lost look on her face, like her thoughts were causing her some sort of problem.

Cassie noticed over the next week that overnight Gryffindor seemed to be losing 20 points. She figured that it was from her and Lyssa not going to the Dets that Snape assinged. Gryffindor was absulotly baffled as to why they were losing so many points but with Snape in charge they supposed they shouldn't be too surprised. Slytherin though was amused at their constant loss of points for no apperantreason.

One day after classes were over Lyssa was walking down the hall to the library when she saw Cassie. With a sigh to herself she called, "Cassie!" hoping to get the other girl's attention. After having thought it over again and again Lyssa had decided it was time they try to make-up again.

Cassie turned around at the sound of her voice. "Yeah?" She asked Lyssa walking over to the other girl.

Lyssa sighed quietly and got straight to it. "I'm sorry," she said, not stalling.

Cassie was kind of unsure of what to say so instead of saying something she hugged her freind.

"Does this mean I'm forgiven?" Lyssa asked, slightly taken off guard by the hug.

"No," Cassie said sarcasticly. "When I hug you it means I still hate you. Okay?" Her eyes glimmered merrily. "You seem to forget how easy I forgive Lyss."

"Still? You hated me at some point?" Lyssa said, raising an eyebrow.

"I didn't hate you I was just annoyed at you."

"I wouldn't have blamed you if you did hate me, at all, ever," Lyssa muttered. "I've been dreadful."

"So's Snape. I vote we...do something..to annoy him..." Cassie shrugged.

"Well Snape is Snape. I'm not meant to act that way, and I'm aware of it now," Lyssa muttered more. "I don't know. But I'm not in the mood to annoy anyone."

"Well I am, we've lost like 100 points this week because of him not includng whatever is happening in classrooms." Cassie scowled slightly.

"Yes, well if we annoy him we'll lose more. If we lay off, we might get some points now and then," Lyssa replied.

"From Snape? Unlikley. I I want to know what he's trying to acheive by taking all those points off though."

"I didn't necessarily mean from him, more like get them from other nicer teachers, but not lose them by him anymore," Lyssa elaborated. "And maybe he's trying to get us to behave?"

"We havn't done anything in the last week though. With the exception of skipping his useless detensions but that's not worth twenty points each night."

"Well we were sort of supposed to go to those, so he has the right to deduct. We openely and blantantly disobeyed..."

Cassie sighed and glanced at Lyssa. "You okay?" She asked her. She was acting a little strange.
