Nix and Vinde

"Oooh," Vinde pointed at something on the schedule. "Pink thing's today right after break. And History of Magic first thing. This is lovely." The Potions she didn't mind, so there was no complaints there. And breaks were always good. Vinde sighed and grabbed a piece of toast.

"Oh what fun." Nix said making a face and grabbing a peice of buttered toast (more toast!) and taking a bite out of it. "I hate Mondays." She muttered once she had swallowed the bite of toast.

"So do I," Vinde agreed. "But I hate every weekday." She ate some more, getting full after a few pieces of toast and some sausages (yum). Then she waited for Nix to get finished so they could go to class.

"Agreed," Nix said, after the two girls finished their breakfast they made their way to History of Magic (oh what fun) and took their usual seats in the back, Nix pulled out a notebook and started absentmindedly doodling on the edge of the page.

The class started and Vinde pretended to listen to whatever the teacher was going on about. She didn't need this class, and so saw no need to pay attention in it. Discreetly, she looked at whatever Nix was drawing. "That looks like a deformed unicorn," she whispered, pointing at one of the doodles.

"Hey,' Nix said incredulously. "it's a squiggle not a demented unicron."

"I would prefer it be a unicorn, because then it would actually be something and not just a squiggle," Vinde said. "But whatever you say..."

'i like random squiggles.' Nix muttrered with a shrugg

Vinde shrugged and the eventually the class ended. Miraculously she managed to stay awake through all of it for once too. And then they were on their way to the dungeons for Potions class.

The two girls made their way down to the potions classrooms. "Well that was boring," Nix muttered as she leaned against the wall and waited to Professor Snape to appear and let them into the classroom.

"Wasn't it?" Vinde agreed, also leaning on the wall. She wondered just what Snape was going to have them do today. It was only the first day of class after all, but then again, knowing Snape he wouldn't care and would just go into the assignments as if summer had never existed and they hadn't had a break from it.

Cj: Nix sighed as she sat down and took out her book, Professor Snape put the instructions on the board and they set to work working on them after he gave them some lecture about the upcoming owls and yadayada that Nix really wasn't paying attension to.

Tsuki: Vinde sighed annoyed. She had a feeling that they would be getting lectured about their stupid freaking OWLS in every class they had, which meant it was going to get really tedious really fast. With a scowl she doodled in the margin of her book, and it actually ended up looking like something while Snape talked. Then they set to making the potion for the day: The Draught of Peace. Reading over the instructions for it, Vinde sighed again. This was not going to be fun at all.

Cj: "Don't you just love potions," Nix muttered as she went off to go and get the ingredients that they needed for that days potions, she came back and Vinde had set up the caldrone pot thingmabob and started cutting up whatever she was meant to be cutting up.

Tsuki: Vinde shrugged, mostly paying attention to what she was doing. This potion was meant to be super accurate and the smallest mistake would end up badly. In the end though it ended up turning out alright, unlike Harry’s potion as he had missed an ingredient which, really, was unfortunate. It was just setting him up for a bad year.

Cj: Nix snickered under her breath as Harry stuffed up his potion, she found it amusing when other people stuffed up as long as it didn't interupt her potion, she didn't really mind potions but she disliked Snape who disliked Gryffindors so it was within her right to dislike the annoying Slytherin head of house

Tsuki: The class overall ended without incident, minus Harry of course, and then the girls had a break. They walked up the stairs from the dungeons and outside, although it was misting rain a little bit. It wasn’t too bad to keep them inside the castle. Especially not when they’d been inside all day to begin with. “Pink thing after this,” Vinde commented. “Lovely.”

Cj: "Oh fun what," Nix muttered as the girls went outside and sat in the courtyard, it wasn't the worst day but it could have been nicer weather and teacher wise

Tsuki: “I can already tell you one thing,” Vinde commented lightly leaning back on a wall. “Defense this year is not going to be a pleasant experience. Not if we’re being taught by someone from the Ministry. They’re all a bunch of idiots anyway who don’t know what the hell they’re doing.” She sighed and looked out across the courtyard, almost as though she were thinking about something, when actually she was just spacing out.

Cj: "Now I'm even more excited," Nix said dryly as she swung her legs wondering if anyone else had a free period (Cause I just thought Tsuki free periods don't start till sixth year) she hadn't seen anyone else going outside but maybe they werent to the dorm or some of the other houses did, Nix shrugged she didn't have a clue.

(Eh minor detail, they had to two chosen classes....and then they ....pulled a Hermione and said screw one of them so thus only have the one. and never filled in the spot with anything else. <-- my astounding logic)

Vinde shrugged. "Don't let me get you down. I'm sure it'll be just fine," she said, lying through her teeth. There was no way it would be good. Not if the speech the pink thing gave them last night was any indication. It had made Vinde want to bash her head on the table. Class was probably going to be just as bad.

(Pulled a Hermione XD Like I say pulled a snape when someone is a double agent thing instead of double agent...thing.)

"Yeah sure somehow I'm doubting it." The two girls dwindled their time aimlessly talking and then it was recess and after recess it was defence against the dark arts which was just destined to be fun.

Vinde shrugged and sooner rather than later they had to go to Defense Against the Darks Arts. As they reached the classroom Vinde stopped outside. "I'm not too sure I want to go in there. I'm not looking forward to this."

The two girls looked at the door and sighed finally entered and took a seat at the very back (Where Cassie and Lyssa were also sitting so we don't randomly forget two of our favourite rp characters ) The pink lady entered and Nix yawned kind of loudly.

Vinde sat down in her chair, and leaned back slightly. This was her best subject so she never really paid too much attention. It was all easy stuff. And with Umbridge teaching it, well, it was just bound to be easier than ever before, since Vinde doubted Umbridge knew the topic as well as a teacher of the subject should...

Pink lady walked to the front and told them to put away their wands. Nix raised her eyebrow but suspected it would probably be an interducotry lesson to both Owls and the new pink teacher teaching the subject.

Vinde blinked as the pink thing entered and told them to put up their wands. What was Defense without wands? Even for the first lesson that was slightly ridiculous. She scowled at the pink woman but complied as to avoid early conflict.

The less was boring even with Harry's random outbust that Voldemort was back and getting sent out of the room, and to which Cassie and Lyssa also got sent out of the room, to who Nix thought would be a fairly annoyed Gryffindor head of house.

Vinde shook her head at the three who got sent out of the room. That would definitely put McGonagall in a bad mood. That also had to be the most interesting part of the lesson, but really...You'd think they'd know better than to talk back to a teacher no matter how incompetent, or any other circumstances. With a sigh she put her head on the desk and closed her eyes.

Nix yawned and gave the annoying book a loathsome glare, she didn't like it, it was annoying and boring. Nix sighed and leaned back on her chair wondering if McGonagall was spazzing at Cassie, Lyssa and Harry. Nix smiled amused.

Vinde ended up falling asleep, since her head was down and her eyes were closed. Not to mention she was still on her summer schedule and having gotten up early for classes had left her super tired, since she was used to sleeping until noon. She was woken up by someone shaking her shoulder. She looked up at Nix. "Class over already?" she muttered, with a yawn. Looking around for a second, it was indeed empty.

"Um yes," Nix muttered looking around. "Come on, I don't like this classroom lets go." The two girls left the classroom and then im not sure what happens next, do they have another class or did the day end? Nix yawned slightly at the end of the day as the two girls went down to dinner.

Vinde was yawning as an after math of her nap for the rest of the day. Dinner went by without any problems and then they went back to the common room to start on their homework and not procrastinate until the night before the assignments were due. "Ew homework."
