Nix and Vinde

Vinde frowned and sat down in her usual seat, next to Nix. She got out her stuff like the rest of the class already had, but was distracted throughout the lesson.

Nix ripped some parchment off the corner of her page. Getting a pen (don't ask how she has a pen she just does) she scribled on it and passed it to Vinde. You all right?

Vinde looked at the piece of paper and scribbled out her reply. She read it over and scratched it out, writing something else instead. I dunno. I mean...I'm not even sure how to react.

Nix (I nearly wrote Cassie..) frowned as she scribled her next note. It'll work out..somehow.

(Nice...) Vinde ran her hand through her hair as she read the response. She grabbed her pen (quill?) and wrote: Doesn't seem much like it will.

Point there. I'm just....worried. What if she shows up and...I don't know... finds a way to take me away from Aunt Andromeda or something? Vinde bit her lip as she thought over the question herself before giving the note to Nix.

Nix frowned looking over the question. She smiled as she though of what Cassie would say, something along the lines of. "Punch her in the face." She won't. Don't worry.

Vinde was clsoe to writing :What if she does? but stopped herself. Instead she wrote Yeah you're right. After all it's not like she just waltz around and demand things.

Vinde nodded to herself as she read the note, and then, after tucking it away somewhere, she tried to pay attention to the lesson.

Nix didn't pay any attention to the rest of the lesson, she couldn't be bothered trying to. Because she wouldnm't be able to. And it was less frustrating to just not pay attention at all.
