Cj and Tsuki have lost their minds~Cassie and Lyssa, Year Seven Rewrite.

One of the Carrows sighed irritably and walked over to Lyssa who jumped back, the Carrow grabbed her arm and even though Lyss tried to stop it, it grabbed her sleeve and pulled it up, Cassie glanced at the arm and half froze half winced, she then looked at Lyss hurt that she hadn't told her. "Well thanks for telling me," She said sarcasticly then walking to the door and trying to open it. "Open the freaking door Snape," She snapped at him, he just raised his eyebrow at her. "Don't tell me what to do Miss Evans." She glowered at him. "Just open the fucking door."

Lyssa yanked her arm free and death glared at the Carrow before looking at Cassie with a frown. "When have I had the chance to tell you?" she asked. "Owling it to you wouldn't have worked and there have been people everywhere since school started."

"I don't know," Cassie retorted spinning on her foot. "But you could have said. "Hey Cassie, there's something I want to tell you later when we're not surronded by people." Something like that would have been nice." She turned back to Snape glowering at him. "Can we go now?"

"Well excuse me for being excited to be out of that damn house and away from them all that my mind wasn't constantly on it," Lyssa muttered. "I don't exactly like thinking about it all the time."

"I would tell you if something major happened to me," Cassie said hurt.

"'Aren't you listening to a word I'm saying?" Lyssa asked. "I just told you I was going to freaking tell you. My mind just wasn't on it earlier alright?! I was a bit more preoccupied with being back at school and seeing my friends again. And you know what, it felt nice to have those distractions for once, instead of a constant reminder of something you hate."

"Whatever," Cassie snapped not wanting to get into an arguement right now even though she already had. "Snape open the freaking door, I want to go to bed."

Seemingly tired of listening to the two argue, Snape opened the door. Cassie walked out, and Lyssa stood there for a moment, trying to get a reign on all of the emotions that were coursiing through her. There were the emotions that had built up over the summer and now the ones from Cassie's reaction. Shaking her head, Lyssa walked out of the office.

Cassie left the office as soon as the door was open and went up to the Gryffindor tower, at the fat lady she realised that she didn't know the password. "Just great," She muttered bitterly. "Can't you jsut let me in? Please?"

Lyssa walked through the halls to the common room. Once she got there she saw Cassie standing outside. "Don't know the password either?" she said, walking up and trying to pretend that the argument in the office hadn't happened, because she didn't want to fight with her best friend.

"No," Cassie said scowling at the fat lady who didn't seem to want to let them in. "And I don't fancy sleeping out here, wouldn't be comfortable." She scowled again.

"Nope, it wouldn't." Lyssa thought for a second. "Do you think, if no one came around in the next few minutes, we could go ask McGonagall. I mean she is the Head of House...Although she'd probably lecture us about what happened at dinner first..."

Cassie made a face at the thought of getting lectured at by McGonagall. "I guess it's better then spending the night out here."

Lyssa shrugged. "So it's settled then? Getting lectured to get the password?" she asked, leaning on the wall.

"Ok," She looked around wishing someone would appear out of no-where. "Lets go," She sighed and the two girls made their way towards their head of houses private rooms as they doubted she would be in her office.

The two of them stopped outside the door, neither really wanting to face McGonagall. "Do you want to knock?" Lyssa asked Cassie.

Cassie shrugged. "I guess," She raised her fist and knocked on the door. "Enter," Came the voice of McGonagall and Cassie opened the door walking in letting Lyssa shut it behind her. "We don't know the password." Cassie said.

"And well..." Lyssa continued, "we'd like to go to bed sometime soon." McGonagall looked at them quiet for a moment.

"The Password is Phoenix," She told them. "Girls what you did at dinner was stupid." Cassie shrugged not really caring. "He doens't deserve to be headmaster and so we're not just going to sit down and let him do what he wants, you've taught us for six years you should know this, it's the same as what happened with Umbridge, it's not their school and we're not going to let them take over it."

"Exactly," Lyssa agreed. "And besides, we're Gryffindors and that means standing up for what we believe no matter the consequences. No matter what you or anyone else says to me I'm not backing down."

McGonagall sighed at them. "You are going to get yourselves in more trouble then it's worth girls." "McGonagall," Cassie said trying not to whine. "We know what we're doing and we accept the consequences, can we go to bed now?"

"Fine," McGonagall said with an exasperated sigh. Lyssa smiled at her for a second and the two girls walked to the door. Just before she walked out behind Cassie, Lyssa turned to her Transfiguration teacher and Head of House. "Professor, just so you know, it won't be more trouble than it's worth." Then she walked out behind Cassie and the two made their way to Gryffindor Tower.

Cassie gave the fat lady the password and entered the common room, Lyssa coming in behind her, there was no one else in the common room at the time and Cassie supposed they had all gone to bed as the first day was always tiring.

"Well this year has had a lovely beginning," Lyssa commented lightly with a tired yawn as they both walked into the empty common room. "Hasn't it?"

Cassie yawned and changed out of her uniform and got into bed, she'd been looking forward to coming back to Hogwarts because she'd missed Lyssa and hadn't been able to see her all holidays but she had a feeling that this year was not going to be a fun one.
