Cassie squeezed her eyes shut, not that it did anything to stop the images that were still flashing through her mind. Lyssa's voice consoled her slightly but Cassie knew that the images weren't going to stop unless she gave in. Which she didn't want to do but she felt like she was fighting a losing battle, she felt drained and really about to fall over unconious. It was taking all her strength to stop that from happening.

Lyssa whirled around to face Voldemort, her deadliest glare situated firmly on her face. "Stop it!" she cried. "Can't you see she doesn't want to give in! You're going to end up breaking her into a million pieces! This is ridiculous! You can't always get your way! I've told you before, people follow you because they fear you! Not because they've been coerced into it! You can't coerced people into submission without ruining who they are! So stop it!"

Snape decided at that moment to butt in. "And why would the dark lord care if she shatters Miss Malfoy?" He asked her in a bored tone. "More the better I'd say, one less annoyance running around." Cassie hissed at him. "Oh fuck you," She snapped at him starting to feel light headed. "I'vehad fricken enough of you." Talking was starting to get harder now. "You're both bullys and cowards. You needto beat up children to make you feel better about yourselves. That's why I'm still fighting because...because." Cassie momentially forgot what she was saying. "It's right, Dumbledore didn't need to bully people to follow him. They followed him....willingly..."

"She's exactly right," Lyssa said. "Bullies and cowards never get anywhere. They thrive on the fear they can create and when somone brave and true comes along they get scared of that person and so try to destroy them. It just goes to prove how very weak they are, having to fight to keep the fear going and stay on top. The good people don't have to fight for it. It comes to them naturally. You are pathetic."

Voldemort made a gesture with his hand and Snape flicked his wand at Lyssa, probably crucioing her or something. "Leave...her...alone." Cassie said, the room started to go black and swaying she feel over losing all conciousness of what was happening in the room. Though he mind still seemed to be fighting as lying on the ground she jolted afew times.

Lyssa had so much anger and adrenaline coursing through her veins that she didn't even notice whatever the heck Snape did. "You just continue to prove me point, over and over," she said, voice calmer than her emotions were.

"And what do I care about a stupid teenagers point?" Snape asked her his eyebrow raised. He glanced at the Evans girl as she jolted and wondered what the Dark Lord had cast on her. He had never seen the spell before, it seemed to show the victem things that they didn't want to see and try to change their minds about it. Interesting.

"You should care about some stupid teenagers point, because the teenagers who are making the points are later going to be the people in charge of things," Lyssa replied. "And besides, believe it or not, teenagers are actually the smartest age group, because they've experienced things, but not so much as to have their judgement clouded by things from the past."

"We're getting bored of your antics Mis Malfoy," Snape said in a bored tone. In the next few minutes Voldemort/and or/Snape proceded to beat Lyssa to about an inch of her life which I'm not getting into the details becaise I actually do have a heart.The two of them walked out of the room leaving the two Gryffindor girls lying on the floor.

At first Lyssa was shocked (although she probably shouldn't have been), then she was in pain, and then she was unconscious. Good enough, Cj?

Cassie's head was aching when she flittered into unconiousness sometime later, she wasn't sure how long it had been and the first thing Cassie noticed what that she was still in the drawing room. She stood, not shakily like she thought she would have. Apart from her headache she felt about fine. Cassiewndered where Lyssa was,and then wondered why she cared and then wondered why she was wondering why she cared. The Gryffindor girl went to her bedroom and shut the door behind her. Feeling a little dazed.

Lyssa didn't know where she was, just that it was soft, although that didn't really matter. The few times she fluttered into consciousness were too riddled with pain to even open her eyes, and they only lasted a matter of seconds anyway.

The next day Cassie decided she wanted her sister back so, as stupid as it seemed went off to find Voldemort. "I want my sister back," She said rather ubruptly apon seeing him in the drawing room. "And why should I do that?" "Because otherwise I won't listen to what you say." He laughed his weird cold laugh. "That's what keeping your sister is acheiving, because your too scared for her to act against me. If don't do as I say you'll lose her." "And then I'll do what I want cause I have no-one to be worried about." Cassie said her eyes glaring. A small part in her mind was shocked with herself.

"Would you not worry about what could happen to your friend, Melyssa then?" Voldemort asked.

Cassie looked at him, a smile on the edge of her lips. "She knows how to look after herself and anyway what makes you think that we're still freinds. I do recall she is partly the reason I am here in the first place." Now Cassie was completly shocked at herself...never..what was going on. It seemed that Voldemort trying to break her had actually succeded.

"Of course she can look after herself. The past three days she's spent unconscicous supports your claim quite nicely. And as it would seem, she considers you her friend, since the reason she's unconscious and badly injured is because she was trying to protect you."

Cassie glanced at him with a raised eyebrow. "If I do recall correctly she was the one who stopped talking to me first, I didn't start the dispute."

Voldemort didn't say anything as a house elf came in the room, oblivious to the conversation that was happening. "Um..." it said, sounding a little scared of Voldemort, "Miss Narcissa requests more pain-relieving potions for Miss Lyssa."

Cassie glanced at the house elf, feeling a stab of sympathy for it. She hated the use of house elves, it was just laziness. Getting a creature that couldn't refuse to do things that you could just as easily do. Cassie seeing no point in staying there set off back to her room. She stopped by Lyssa's door and hesitated out the front of it. She knocked on the door and Narcissa opened it, looking asif she was in a rather bad mood.

"What do you want?" Narcissa asked.

Cassie felt considerably awkward, while Narcissa wasn't as bad as Lucius Cassie didn't particularly like her. "I just wanted to see how Lyssa was..." Cassie said softly acting more like her own self then she had all day.

"She's not in any condition for visitors," Narcissa said with a frown and a glance over her shoulder at her daughter, worry evident in her eyes.

Cassie nodded and then shrugged. "Alright then," She turned around and walked into her room nex door, noticing that the shards of glass had been finally cleaned up.

Narcissa went back in the room and back to tending to Lyssa.

The next few days passed without much happening, and except for needing to eat,Cassie stayed in her room. Reading the books that were there.
