In Another Life

Most of the class looked sleepy as the professor showed up and started the lesson. Apparently, they would be reviewing the constellations and marking them down on a chart to be handed in when class was over. Lyssa yawned, setting up her telescope.

Cassie blinked a few times having nearly fallen asleep while the teacher was talking. She finished settting up her teleoscope and got out her quill to start marking the chart. She talked to Claudia quietly as they worked.

Lyssa began marking down the constellations on her chart, every once in a while getting distracted. They were just sort of nice to look at, and oddly they reminded her of her family as well, since a lot were named after stars.

Cassie wasn't the biggest fan of stars, sure they looked nice and all but really they were somewhat boring, well studying them was boring. What did she care what weird shapes in the sky they made up? It didn't make any difference to her.
