Noah and Eva.

"It's alright," Noah replied with another small smile. The matron bustled over, holding a small container in one hand and brandashing a wand in the other. Noah moved out of the way so that the matron could get to Eva. "This may sting a little deary," She said putting some of the mixture on a cloth and wiping the blood off of her face and the cut. "Why can't you just magic away the blood?" Noah asked her. "Because we don't know what was down where you two happened to be, she may have gotten something in the cut which needs to be cleared out before I can heal it." "Oh," Noah said.

That worried Eva a bit. "What if... does that mean we don't know what that thing was? What did it do? Did it touch me, Noah? What..." She stopped and took a deep breath, working to calm the panic racing across her features. "Everything is going to be okay. Everything is going to be okay." She mumbled this to herself over and over; it was her good luck charm. She used it whenever she was really freaking out, because it helped make things better. She was going to be fine.

"No deary, the thing didn't touch you calm down." The Matron said, Noah made his way around the matron and stood next to Eva. "Hey, relax." He said softly. "It'll be okay." "But, you cut your head open on the rock, and down there, probably isn't the cleanest of places. So just to be sure, we are cleaning up the cut before I heal it."

"Oh. Okay." Eva let out a breath of air. "Thank you, Ma'am. And thank you, again, Noah. I m... I just... thank you." She probably sounded like a mental case--it caused her to turn a bit red. "I probably sound insane. I'm sorry. I really don't mean to keep repeating myself like this and I am sure you really just want to get out of here, because no one likes to spend time in the hospital wing especially for someone they barely even know who they are just here with because they happened to go exploring after working on a project and..." Evan ran out of breath. "Sorry."

Noah couldn't help but smile at Eva's somewhat hysterics. "Relax Ev," He said with another small smile. "It's fine. Okay? Now, calm down, before I get kicked out." He glanced at the matron who glanced at the two of them before she went to put away the cloth to clean once she was done. "And Eva," he said. "If I had wanted to go, I would have gone already."

That was what made Eva stop and calm down. "Thanks, Noah. For sticking with me." She was done with the hysterics, and feeling exhausted. It had been a long day. Noah reassured her--he was comforting, reassuring, warm. Everything she needed in a guy, she noted absently. She wondered if she had been drugged to make the process easier for the Matron. "I l..." she started, but her eyes closed and she began to sleep.

Noah smiled when Eva dropped off to sleep, somewhat amused at the fact that she had started to talk and then nodded off. He noted that she was quite cute when asleep. He grabbed a chair and pulled it over sitting down next to the bed. The matron looked at him as she came back over, but said nothing as she set about healing Eva's head. Noah wondered how long Eva would have to be in the Hospital wing for.

Eva woke up, and all she could really see was dark. How long had she been asleep? What day was it? Was it still the same day, just later?

More importantly, who else was in there?

"Noah?" Eva's voice asked, quiet but strong.

"Hey Eva," Noah said in response to her voice, he was holding a book though he had stopped reading some point in the past when the lights were dimmed. He was relieved that she had woken up though. He stretched his arms up, sore from sitting down for so long. "How are you feeling?" He asked her.

"You're still here! Wh... what day is it? What TIME is it? You didn't sit here all night, did you? I didn't mean for you to worry!"

"I'm feeling a bit better. My head does not hurt nearly as much, although I feel a bit dizzy. How are you feeling?"

"I was reading," Noah said holding his book alof, even though it was too dark to actually see it. "I'm fine." He said with a nod. "And it only recently got dark, so it hasn't been that long." He nodded again, feeling somewhat awkward. "Good that you are feeling better though," He said. "I'm fine," He said again. "Yeah..."

"I think I'm going to try to get up," Eva spontaneously decided. She could not sit still for very long, and the thought of being confined to a bed for very much longer drove her insane. She did not think things through very well, however; she was still a bit woozy, and standing up would most likely not agree with her. She got out of bed and started walking towards Noah when she started to realize how dense this idea was. She tripped and started to fall backwards.

"Uh," Noah said to her suggestion of standing up. "I don't think that's a good id-oh okay." He said as she stood up anyway. He frowned watching her, thinking that this was going to end very badly. And if the matron came out she was not going to be happy. Noah watched as she started to wobble and took a step forward and grabbed onto her as she tipped. "Careful," He said softly helping her up onto her feet. "You don't want to crack your head open again."

Noah's arms were soft and warm, rather comforting. Especially since they were the only thing between Eva and the floor. She was glad that he had been there.

"I'm sorry. I didn't think. Thank you again. I keep having to thank you. It's becoming a constant thing. I feel like I should do something to make it up to you." Eva frowned. What would he appreciate. "You can pick what."

"Just." Noah said. "Relax." He smiled softly at her. "And it's fine, I'm fine with it." He frowned, feeling slightly foolish. "No," he said to her. "It's alright. Just. Try and take care of yourself okay." He helped her get back over to the bed. "It would be kind of sad if you fell over and hit your head again."

Eva was starting to get sleepy again, and her head kind of hurt. She was not thinking very clearly--which explained why she did what she did next. As Noah leaned over, trying to help her get back into her bed, she moved her head upward slightly, kissing him on the cheek. "You're really cute when you're being so helpful. Why are you always so cute? Why is the sky moving?" She then proceeded to pass out.

Noah blushed somewhat red as Eva kissed her, though he was somewhat relieved when she blanked out because it meant that he didn't need to reply to that. He shook his head slightly, and rather awkwardly managed to get Eva back into the bed. Without knocking her head on something else. He yawned, supposing that he should get back to the common room and actually get some sleep.

Eva woke up in the morning and groaned. She was sore, but she felt significantly better. She felt like something was wrong, though. She could not remember much of what had happened the night before, which bothered her quite a bit. She remembered Noah being there, but that was just about it. However, she had the nagging feeling that she had done something incredibly stupid.

The matron agreed that she could leave the hospital wing, to her immense relief. She did not want to be cooped up for another day, and she was feeling fine. She had to go find Noah, though, and thank him.

Noah made his way down to breakfast late Sunday morning, he'd been awake for a few hours but hadn't felt like going down to get it. But as it was starting to get late, and breakfast was nearly going to be over he thought that he might as well make his way down. Sitting down he grabbed a bowl, pouring porridge in it, and then coated in sugar before mixing it around his bowl.

Eva tracked down Noah.

"NOAH!" She pulled up next to him. "Do you mind if I sit down here? If not it's okay. I just wanted to thank you for everything you did for me. It was awesome and I really appreciate it. I don't remember much of last night, but I remember that you were there helping me. So, thanks for that." She gave a small smile.

Noah looked up at Eva, he had a spoon held aloft above his bowl on the way to his mouth, that he ignored once Eva started babbling at him. "Eva," He said with a short laugh. "Calm down. The world isn't going to explode before you say everything you want to say. Okay?" He smiled. "Yes you can sit there, yes it's fine." he said trying to remember what she had said. "And it's fine," He shrugged awkwardly at her, and then smiled. "Just did what I could." He wondered if she remembered kissing him on the cheek.

"Thanks. It's just... I feel like I should apologize to you, too. Like I did something really stupid. Something I had been considering for a while, but would never seriously do--it would make us both uncomfortable. But I don't remember doing anything. So it kind of makes me nervous." She stopped, looking at Noah. "I didn't do anything stupid, did I?"

Noah remembered the spoon that he was holding in mid-air. He turned back to his bowl and put it in his mouth. He put the spoon back into her bowl mixing it around, hoping that it wouldn't go cold by the time he got to it. "What?" He said looking at Eva. "Uh," He wondered whether or not to tell her. And decided that he shouldn't, he didn't want to freak her out anymore or anything. "No," He said with a nod. "Nothing stupid."

Eva should have been relieved. It would make perfect sense. After all, Noah told her she was fine. However, something about his words did not match his expression. He looked a bit nervous. So, she decided to ask again.

"You can be honest with me, you know. I can handle it."

"Um," Noah said turning back to his cereal and scooping it into his mouth as an excuse not to answer her. While he was at it, he scooped another spoonful into his mouth. But he knew that he couldn't go on eating and ignoring her. "Well uh," He frowned softly, chewing on his lip. "You. Um." Noah felt quite awkward. "You kissed me on the cheek." He said with a slight nod, before going back to eating, staring at his bowl.
