Noah and Eva.

"Eva," Noah said as the girl bounded about chattering excitedly. "You are one of the hyper-ist, people I have ever met. Really." He shook his head, half amused and half exasperated at the girl. "Okay," He said. Though he did have a few things that he needed to buy. He could still get them while Eva had her fun looking around all of the shops. He supposed t wouldn't be that bad, somewhat amusing if they did find a passageway. "We can look."

Eva practically tackled Noah. She hugged him, forgetting his awkwardness from the day before, and not thinking about whether he would be comfortable with the contact or not. "Thank you! Oh my gosh, this is going to be so much fun! So, let's start in here, I guess! Onward, march!" She walked into the store, dodging Hogwarts students hovering over the newest broom model, and looking for any sign of anything suspicious. She looked for books that didn't belong, floor and ceiling panels that didn't match, and just about any statue that looked out of place. She searched and searched, but didn't see anything. She was not deterred, though. Maybe the next store?

"Ahhh," Noah said as the girl hugged him, before spouting more words so fast that Noah could barely catch them and than disapearing into the shop. Noah blinked a few times, smiled exasperatedly and than followed her in. Walking around the students who were actually buying things, not looking for things that they had no idea if they were really there or not. Noah looked at all the supplies while Eva searched, not that he had any interesting in them. Just as something to do.

Eva walked up to Noah. "Nothing in this store. Is there anything you need in here, or do you want to move onto the next store?" She was just getting started, and her already ridiculous energy level seemed to be multiplying. She would look through every single store in Hogsmeade to find something, if her mind was set on it. Which, of course, it was. In hindsight, she felt a bit bad for Noah, who was getting dragged along on her great adventure, but she was a bit too excited to really ponder that very much. She was too busy searching for secret passageways.

Noah went about the shop looking at sporting equipment as Eva explored around the shop looking for secret hiding places. He found her enthusiasm amusing as she snuck about looking in odd places. The shop was quite packed, with people who played quiddich or wanted to join the team the next year looking for supplies, or just looking about at the types of equipment there was. He shook his head as she reappeared. "Nope," He said. "I don't play so I don't need anything." He walked over to the door and held it open for her.

Eva thought it was cute that Noah was holding the door open for her, but she didn't say so. It would just make the poor bloke blush up a storm. Instead, she beamed, thanking him cheerily.

They moved onto the next store, repeating the same pattern. Eva searched diligently for any secret passageways, having little luck. She just didn't know where to look. It would help if she had some kind of clue. However, she didn't let this dampen her enthusiasm--she searched and searched, ignoring the unlikeliness of her to find anything. She towed Noah along, buoying him along with the force of her energy. She was going to find something. Even though she hadn't so far.

While Eva went around the shops searching for hidden passageways that Noah was doubtful she would find- there might be a few about, but the chances that they would be in a place where students could fall across them was unlikley- Noah looked around the merchendise of the shops. The first few not finding anything he wanted or needed. But along the way, he stopped, buying bits and bobs. Holding these objects in his arms he was pulled into another shop, wondering how a girl had so much energy.

The further they went, the more discouraged Eva started to get. "What if we don't find anything?" she asked Noah quietly, not really expecting a response. She kept searching, even more meticulously than before, but she was starting to get concerned. Surely she should have found something by now? Hogsmeade, however, was not created by the Hogwarts founders, though, she suspected, and it was entirely possible that the people who created the town were not as ingenious as Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Slytherin. What if there were no secret passageways?

No. There had to be something.

Noah was growing more and more amused as Eva started to get frantic looking for secret passageways. Noah himself doubted that she would, because if there were some they were hardly going to be somewhere where students could easily find them. They would be in the storerooms, or something. Noah ended up buying more things than he needed, as he tended to browse around the shops a lot while Eva looked. "Next shop?" He asked when the girl stopped excessively scanning the shop they were in.

"I suppose," Eva sighed, moving onto the next shop. They were running out of time and shops--however, Eva was still determined. In the next shop, there was going to be something. No place could possibly be so boring as to have no secret passages.

Eva was absolutely positive there would be something in the next store.

To her amazement, there was.

Noah was somewhat startled as a few minutes into searching the next shop Eva rather hyperly grabbed his arm and pulled him over to the other side of the shop. He supposed that she had found some sort of hidden passageway or something. "Found something?" He asked her when she let go of his arm. They had banged into a few people while crossing the room.

"YES!" Eva said ecstatically. She led him to the spot where she found the unexpected but thoroughly satisfying secret passageway. She had been pulling out random books from the shelves, originally in the pursuit of a secret hiding place, but eventually getting more and more interested in looking at the books. The more she looked, the more interested she got. When she pulled one book, a book entitled, "A History of the Finding of Secret Passages," ironically, she heard a grinding sound. She turned around and found a slight opening between two bookcases that had not been there before. She wanted to explore, but she found Noah first and brought him there.

"See! Isn't it awesome? Want to find out where it goes?"

Noah smiled at Eva, her enthusiasm was infection. "Sure," He said now that she had found somewhere somewhat curious as to where the secret passageway led. It might lead no-where but it also might lead somewhere. "Come on," He said grabbing her arm and stepping in. "Before someone notices and stops us."

Eva grinned as Noah took the lead, and the two sped through the opening into the passageway. This was all so exciting!

Once they got to a place where they could not be seen through the opening, Eva pulled out her wand. "Lumos," she said quietly, watching the tip of her wand light up. They seemed to be moving underground, based on the temperature change and the surface of the walls of the tunnel.

"Where do you think it goes?" she asked Noah quietly.

Noah was intrigued, he got out his wand. Murmering Lumos under his breath so it lit up the parts of the passageways that Eva's didn't quite reach. He held it aloft looking around the walls, and the floor. There was nothing too special, he wondered what he had expected. Random carvings on the ground. "No idea," Noah breathed back, as if talking loudly would someone break the magic air of the place. He kept walking, wanting to see if it led anywhere.

The two followed the path along for a while. Eva was not the type to be scared of the dark, but the constricting and darkening passage was starting to make her a bit uncomfortable. She was a bit claustrophobic, but it was more than that--something about the passageway was alarming, eerie, dark. There was a kind of magic to it, even though the walls were plain and the floor slowly turned to dirt.

Eva was concerned.

She found her hand gravitating towards Noah's, hoping he wouldn't mind. She didn't know him terribly well, but she liked him. He was a bit odd, but so was she, and he seemed like a good person. She wondered if he was getting as freaked out as she was.

"Noah... how long have we been walking?"

"Um," Noah said turning to look at Eva. He'd been quite distracted with the passageway that they were walking down. It had a magical air to it, and it sparked his curiousity. Where were they going? He wondered which direction that had been facing when they entered the passageway. Which would help him discover roughly where they were going. "Five, ten minutes?" Noah suggested, not too sure.

"Are... are you sure?" Eva asked, a bit of her fear leaking into her voice. Something was not right. Noah seemed to be intrigued more than anything, but this place had lost its charm to Eva back when the walls started to become more ancient, more crumbled. That was when the dark presence seemed to settle over everything. She wondered if Noah really didn't feel it.
"It seems like it has been much longer. Time doesn't seem to be flowing correctly." She paused for a second before continuing. "Something seems... off here."

"I wonder where it goes," Noah mused aloud, with a shake of his head he glanced away from the old walls and back at Eva. He frowned slightly, "Pretty sure yeah," He said with a nod. "Something like that. It hasn't been that long, has it?" He frowned again, wondering why Eva was so strung up about the place now, when she'd been so excited earlier.

"Oh. I don't know. I just..." she paused for a second, deciding that she was probably just imagining it. "Never mind. I'm sure it's just exhaustion. We've been running around all day, after all. I'm probably just imagining it."
She should have trusted her instincts, but she didn't. She felt uneasy, but she plunged onward, trying to save face in front of Noah.

Noah's frowned furthered as Eva continued to walk. He could tell that she didn't think she was just tired. Noah grabbed her wrist, stopping her from continuing to walk on. "What's up?" He asked her.

The contact caused by Noah grabbing Eva's hand jolted her a bit. She was on edge. This was not just her imagination. Something was wrong.

Not his hand on her wrist. That felt warm, comforting, and a bit tingly. However, she had to put that thought aside.

"Well, um. I don't know. It's just... something about here feels wrong. Dark. Evil. I can't describe it."

Noah frowned, trying to see if he could feel what Eva was feeling. He didn't feel anything out of the norm, but he didn't think Eva would make it up. It wasn't like her to do that. "Do you want to go back?" He asked her glancing around the corridor.

"Do you want to go back?"

Eva paused for a second. She could see from his face that he clearly didn't feel it at all, which was troubling. She sighed, pondering the question to herself for a second.

"No. We've already come this far. We might as well see where it ends." She squinted ahead of them a bit, seeing a tiny bit of light filtering in. "It looks like there is a room up ahead."

She ignored the sudden bout of nausea that struck her and proceeded forward.

Noah squinted through the darkness, looking at the tiny light in front of them. He had no idea how far away that light was though. It was hard to judge distances in semi darkness. He nodded at Eva. "If you're sure," He said, not quite sure whether Eva really wanted to continue.
