Betrayal At Its Best

Lizzie was at home sitting in her room, reading some book or other that she had gotten a few days previous. Hearing the doorbell she sighed putting the book down, knowing that her mother wouldn't hear it and go get it. "Lyssa?" Lizzie asked with a frown when she opened the door. "What are you doing here?"

Lyssa, who had been standing at the door for a couple minutes before actually ringing the bell, had her best panicked face on. When Lizzie open the door and asked why she was there Lyssa said, "Voldemort has Cassie," in the most worried voice she could manage without overstressing it.

"Voldemort?" Lizzie asked her with a confusedexpression. Wondering who the hell that was, he had an odd name. Which was the first thing Lizzie thought, the second thing she thought was that he wouldn't be a 'good guy' because Lyssa was looking so paniced.

Lyssa ran a hand through her hair, biting her lip. "He's a Dark wizard," she explained. "Trying to take over everything, and to kill off all the Muggles and non-purebloods and just about everyone who opposes him." As she explained, Lyssa was very glad that she could act well, or else this would never work.

"Okay..." Lizzie said with a frown. "Come in," She said standing aside to let Lyssa walk in. She supposed she should go and get her mum who would probably know what to do.

Lyssa walked in the house, standing awkwardly there once the door was shut behind her as Lizzie went to get her mum she guessed. As she waited, Lyssa ran over the plan in her head a couple of times.

"Mum," Lizzie said going into her Mum's room where she was working on something or other. "Yes dear?" her mother asked looking up at her. "Lyssa's here." Her mother frowned, seeming to take amoment to work out who Lizzie meant. "What is she doing here?" She asked. Lizzie shrugged. "She said something about a person called Voldemort and Cassie."

Lyssa stood there for a moment longer, going over things. Then she looked up as Lizzie came back with her mum.

Lizzie's mum's eyes widened at that and she stood up and quickly left the room, Lizzie behind her. "Lyssa," She said her tone full of worry. "What's happened to Cassie?" Lizzie could tell from the urgency in her mother's voice that something harmful actually could have happened to Cassie.

Lyssa looked at Cassie's mum, faked tears springing up. "He...I don't really know. He kidnapped her for some reason. She just disappeared one day..." Then she stopped pretending that she was too upset to go on.

The next few minutes proceded of Cassie's mum having a total freak, which I am in no mood to write. Lizzie had always thought her mum as being quite a calm person but she didn't look the least bit calm in those few minutes.

Lyssa frowned looking down for a second. "I have more bad news," she said in a serious tone. Then she looked up. "You're about to be another daughter short." Then she grabbed Lizzie's wrist and Apparated out of the house, smirk appearing on her face as she did so.

"What the heck?" Lizzie shouted at her once she felt ground under her feet again, she was feeling somewhat off balance from the whole spinning through space or whatever the hell what they had just done was. "What the heck?" Lizzie repeated looking at the girl whom she had thought was Cassie's best freind.

Lyssa was still smirking when they had reached their destination. "Cassie obviously never wrote home to you telling you about what was happening at school, or you and your mum would know that we're not on the same side anymore."

"You! Arg." If it were Cassie standing there Lyssa would probably have a black eye and a bunch of bruises but it was Lizzie who was less violent then her sister. "You are such a brat you know that? Cassie trusted you, I fricken trusted you. Are you bloody messed up in the fricken head?!" Lizzie was rather put out. She did not like getting stabbed in the back, not in the slightest. "You're helping a fricken physopath. What the fuck?"

Lyssa was quiet until Lizzie was done yelling. "Well, actually," she then said, "yes, I am messed up in the head, but there's not helping that." Then she shrugged slightly. "Anything else you would like to add before we go inside?"

Lizzie scowled glaring at the other girl. "I don't see what you're getting out of this. It's just cruel, you're being heartless." She crossed her arms across her chest scowling.

"Honestly, I don't really care. I'm sure some part of me does, but that part has been buried somewhere deep down in my mind," Lyssa said. She flicked her wand lazily, doing something that would make Lizzie follow behind her, and then walked inside the Manor.

"Ugh," Lizzie shouted as her legs started to move. She thrashed about wildly. This is why she didn't like magic, it didn't give one a chance. "Coward." Lizzie spat at Lyssa as she was forced to walk through the gates of some place or other, doing her best to try and stop herself from walking.

Lyssa ignored whatever Lizzie was saying, stopping just inside the Manor' gates to say, "Welcome to Malfoy Manor," in a nearly sarcastic tone. Then she continued to walk up the path to the front door.

Lizzie death glared at the Malfoy girl, feeling quite betrayed. She had thought that Lyssa was Cassie's best freind, someone that she actually could rely on. Not someone who was kidnapping her and taking her to some place. She scowled darkly trying to dig her heels into the ground.

Lyssa walked up the front steps of the Manor and through the doors. Taking a wild guess, she made her way to the drawing room.


(since I'm too lazy to chnage windows to the IM. My plan: Lizzie gets put down in the cellar with Cass for a while, then a litle bit later they both get brought up, and then boom!)

Lizzie was immeansly glad when she stopped walking. She looked up with an eyebrow rasied at some demented guy who didn't have a nose. Lizzie thought he was the weirdest guy she had ever seen which was saying something. Though not knowing what he could do she didn't have the sense to be afraid so scowling she snapped. "Why the fuck am I here?" She didn't generally swear, but she was pissed off.

Lyssa saw Voldemort scowl. "I will not be spoken to like that," he hissed. "Espeically by a Muggle." He pulled out his wand, aiming it at the girl. He flicked it, causing her to fall over in pain. A few minutes later he released the curse. Looking at a random Death Eater in the room he said, "Bind her and take her to the cellar. I'll deal with her and her sister at a later date. For now, I have business to attend to."

Lizzie's head was spinning somewhat when she was no longer in direct pain, she was still aching from the afterpain though. Her arms were somehow pulled behind her back and again she was forced to walk causing Lizzie to scowl furiously. She did not like magic. Not one bit.
