Betrayal At Its Best

Cassie was standing next to the door so when Lyssa walked in Cassie spun and punched her in the face, a few times.

Lyssa was shocked at the first punch, so it landed easily, but she somehow managed to block the next couple from hitting her completely. Then she got her wand and flicked it, casting something to keep Cassie away from her.

Cassie hissed at Lyssa as the girl cast something to keep her away from it. Given the chance she probably would have beated the girl into pulp, which she very much felt like doing.

A few more minutes of chaos insued afterwards, until Dobby the house elf appeared on the chandelier hanging over head. The elf knocked it down to cause a distraction. This distraction, however, landed nearly directly on top of Lyssa, meaning she got showered with broken glass bits. She winced as they cut her skin a bit.

The house elf apperated Cassie and Co (cause that's cooler then Harry and Co) out of Malfoy Manor and to someplace or other. When they got there the house elf diedfrom a knife wound. harry was visably distraught about it.

Once everyone had calmed down, Narcissa noticed Lyssa's injuries and she went over to her, fussing as usual. "Mum! Leave them alone!" Lyssa protested.

Sometime later Cassie found herself at Hogwarts battling Death Eaters in the duel. Because Harry for some explicibly odd reason thought it would be a good idea to go to Hogwarts. She dodged a light that was snet her way and sent one back glancing about to see who the attacker was.

Lyssa found herself doing her best to avoid fighting anyone. She was not realy in the mood, plus most of the people she could potentially duel had more dueling experience than her, since they were all older.

Cassie found herself nearly getting hit a few times but as she's a main character and they just have that luck everything missed her. hough she hit a few Death Eaters. She was an alright dueler even though she wasn't the best with her wand.

Deciding that the dueling was probably more sparse further inside the castle, Lyssa made her way up some stairs.

Cassie had to retreat up some stairs as she came against a Death Eater who could duel better she could. She ended up rather stupidly backing into someone and spun around her wand raised.

Lyssa was walking through the floor, carefully making sure that there was no one around. She had nearly lowered her guard, when someone bumped into her. The person turned around to reveal Cassie, wand raised. Lyssa just looked at her for a moment, her own wand still held at her side.

Cassie was watching Lyssa edgily and wondering why on earth the other girl hadn't raised her wand. Cassie could have hexed into the nearest wall by this point. Which she rather felt like doing actually.

Lyssa really wasn't in the mood to duel anyone, which was why she hadn't raised her wand. Instead she spoke. "Fancy running into you here," she said conversationally.

Cassie raised an eyebrow. "And what is that supposed to mean?" She asked her still holding her wand protectivly.

Lyssa shrugged. "Nothing really," she replied with a smirk. "Just making conversation. Is that illegal now or something?"

Cassie rolled her eyes at Lyssa. She was wondering why she actually hadn't blasted the other girl into a wall, it was in her right so. She had killed her sister. Cassie scowled and frowned.

Lyssa noticed Cassie's expression. "What's wrong?" she asked, voice nearly taunting.

"What do you bloody think?" Cassie snapped back irritated.

Lyssa gave her a confused expression, fake as it was. "I wouldn't have a clue," she said. "I'm not exactly in your head."

Cassie snarled and as she was in arms reach whacked the girl hard over the head with her hand.

"Oi!" Lyssa said, stepping back. "That was really uncalled for, you know!" She was actually rather having fun with this conversation.

"That was uncalled for?" Cassie shouted at her. "You killed my sister, whacking you over the head is in my right."

"I disagree with you, unfortunately," Lyssa replied. "I didn't want to kill anyone, ever. It was one of my life goals not to, but life got in the way, and you know how life is. The unimportant things have to be taken care of before the important ones."

"I don't care if you fricken wanted to or not. You still freaking did. How would you like it if someone came along and killed Draco?!" Cassie scowled fiercly at her.
