| The quiet that took place unnerved Cassie slightly so she took her Ipod out of her drawer, (she was amazed she knew where it was) and plugged it to the speakers. Turning the volume down some she turned it off. She sighed listening to the music. It wasn't what she expected everything would be like after the war. | |

| Lyssa sighed, looking around the room. It hadn't changed much over the years. She was tired of quiet so Lyssa decided to atempt at conversation. "So..." | |

| "I don't know," Cassie said with a sigh and a frown. She ran a hand through her hair glancing at her Ipod as it played a song completly different to the mood. "I just, yeah I don't know." | |

| Lyssa sighed. "Why did I think this was a good idea again?" she asked. "I don't like this. It...sort of bothers me, how your mum is acting. It's her right to and all, but it upsets me." | |

| Cassie frowned. "We can always leave if you want to," She said with a slight shrug. Knowing her mother who wasn't quite as forgiving as Cassie nor had known Lyssa well enough to actually be able to forgive her as quickly as Cassie had. (Or well semi forgiven her at least. Not fully) And her actions was probably going to stay like that for a while. As long as she wasnt shoting Cassie didn't mind too much but then she wasn't the one being ignored. | |

| Lyssa shook her head. "It's fine," she muttered. "And you haven't seen your dad yet. I can deal with it." She shrugged slightly, looking around the room. "It just...it makes me feel sick to my stomach when I think of what I've caused this family. What the hell was I thinking?" | |

"I don't know," Cassie said with a shrug and a sigh. "I really don't, something just happened and it all went out of whack." She frowned, not really wanting to think about it and about what had happened.

| "Well, actually," Lyssa muttered, "to be quite honest, I don't think I was thinking, at all. Last night at Hogwarts, when we were talking in the hallway, was when I realized just how stupid I had been and about how idiotic my decisions were, and I'm wondering now, why I made them in the first place." | |

Cassie shrugged at her. "You would have had a reason but you probably just lost track of what it was somewhere along the way."

| Lyssa sighed. "But that's ridiculous," she protested. "I've been thinking all night, and I can't come up with a single logic reason for anything." She sighed again, and looked towards Cassie's door as she heard a door down the stairs open and close. "I think your dad is home." | |

Cassie frowned slightly, wondering what was going to happen. A few minutes later her dad's voice called up the stairs. Calling for her. She sighed and frowned. "I'll be back in a bit, I suppose."

| Lyssa just nodded at her, as Cassie walked out of the room. Lyssa, herself, ws not moving from where she was still standing. She didn't want any drama just yet, so thought best not to go downstairs. | |

| Cassie went down the stairs, jumping down them and skipping the stairs like she usually did. She landed, both feet together on the bottom and headed towards the kitchen. Nervous as to how her father would react. She entered the kitchen, her mother was sitting at the table and her father was standing behind her chair. "Cassie," he said before giving the girl a chance to say anything. "She has to go now" The look on his face was of both anger and betrayal. Cassie supposed the betrayal was aimed at her, for bringing Lyssa into the house. Which when you thought about it was both tactless and stupid. And just asking for trouble and anger. "No," Cassie said just knowing that an argument was about to erupt. "Cassandra, I wasn't asking. I was telling you." "I don't care," Cassie replied. Her dad's eyes darkened. And Cassie stared stubbornly at him. Knowing what he was about to say Cassie beat him too it. "Look," She said her eyes flashing dangerously."Yes I cared about Lizzie, she was my sister for Christ’s sake! But nothing I can do will bring her back, nothing Lyssa can do will bring her back." Cassie's voice was steadily rising, but it did not bother her. Not in the slightest. "I've been through hell in the last year, I've been tortured, betrayed and watched my sister die right before my eyes and the first thing I get when I walk through that door." She gestured angrily towards the front door. "Is not I missed you, are you alright and other crap like that! It's fricken "Get her out!" She's my best fricken friend, and yes I know that she killed Lizzie. It's not something I could forget, but she's the only one who knows and gets what I've been through even if she was bloody on the other fricken side at the fricken time!" Cassie was getting upset now, she didn't want to shout. She hadn't seen her parents for nearly a year, it wasn't what she expected the family reunonion to be like. "You should at least get it mum, she didn't have a choice. Not with Voldemort. It's a kill or be killed situation. I could be fricken grieving a best friend and a sister right now!" She tried to calm herself down, breathing deeply she said. "If you want her out, fine. But I'm going with her if she does." (This is what happens when I'm bored in food) | |

| Lyssa stayed up in Cassie's room, leaning on the wall by the door that Cassie had left open, trying to hear what was going on down the stairs. At first she didn't hear anything, but then she heard Cassie's voice, steadily raising in level. Unable to understand what the other girl was saying, Lyssa wandered down the stairs, stopping just out of sight and listening to Cassie yelling. Her shoulders sank down as she listened to the girl. Lyssa didn't want Cassie fighting with or yelling at her parents because of her. | |

| Cassie turned on her foot and flounced out of the room. She didn't want to fight with her parents but she wasn't goiing to kick Lyssa out. Even after everything that had happened in the last year. Cassie sighed running a hand through her hair and going up the stairs. Sure she understood her parents predicatment, she wouldn't want the person who killed her daughter (if she had one) in her house. She stopped for a moment seeing Lyssa standing by the door before going up the stairs. | |

| Lyssa was still frowning when Cassie walked out of the kitchen. She didn't move for a moment, but then followed Cassie back to her room, not particularly wanting to get caught downstairs by Cassie's parents. | |

| Cassie wanted very much to slam the door behind her, but with Lyssa right behind her she restrained herself, as she didn't want to slam a door into Lyssa's face. She flopped down on her bed with a sigh. | |

| Lyssa reentered the room, closing the door behind her softly. She looked at Cassie, frowning. Tucking a piece of hair behind her ear, Lyss said, "You guys shouldn't be fighting. Least of all about me. I should just go. I did what I came to do, and staying longer is just creating more problems." | |

| "You can stay if you want to, they can deal with it." Cassie scowled feircly at the wall, right then she didn't want to be left at home on her own, she was annoyed at them. | |

| Lyssa bit her lip for a moment. "But," she protested, "you deserve to see them without arguing every second." | |

| "Well you can go if you want to." She said leaning back on the wall, bumping her head on a picture frame on the wall. | |

| Lyssa frowned. "That's the problem. I'm at a conflict of interest. Because to be honest, I don't want to leave, but at the same I should leave. It's not my family. I shouldn't be here." | |

| Cassie shrugged moving off the wall and leaning back on the bed, so she was staring at the roof. Her eyes traced the cracks on the walls and she heard footsepts coming up the stairs. "Three, two, one. bang." She said softly At the bang the door opened. | |

| The two had lapse into silence when the footsteps started, so it was incredibly easy to hear them as they came closer. Lyssa jumped as Cassie's door banged open and she twirled around, having had her back to it, to see Cassie's dad. | |

| Cassie sighed as her dad entered the room, didn't anyone pay attensuon to the do not enter sign she had stuck on her door? Obviously not. "Lyssa," He said his tone hard and cold. "Get out of my house now." | |
