Sometimes its hard to just keep going.

"Apologize?" Cassie asked her with a raised eyebrow. "What do I have to apologize for? I walked into you, so what? You didn't even lose your bloody footing." She glowered. "And I have better things to do then to stand here listening to whatever crap you're going to come out with."

"Well, if I all I say is crap, then why are you still standing here, responding to the things I say?" Lyssa asked. "Or do you really have so little to do with your stupid, little life that you spend your time walking into people just so you can talk to them?"

Cassie scowled at her. "My life is not stupid nor small." She snapped clenching her fist tightly. "I do not mean to walk into people, I just walk, it's not my fault if those people are so distracted thinking about their bloodyselves that they walk into me."

"Of course you 'just walk'," Lyssa said, containing an eye roll. "You've got nothing else to do with your empty life. I mean what would you do really? You have no family to turn to, your friends are all...Well, you get my point."

Cassie scowled at her, grabbed her by the arm and thunked her hard into the wall.She kept her arms pressing Lyssa against the wall. "And whose fault is that?" She snarled at her, her eyes glinting darkly

Lyssa winced upon hitting the wall. "I know who's bloody fault it is," she replied. "How could I not know, seeing as it was mostly mine. Now would you bloody get off. This wall isn't particularly the most comfortable thing in the world."

Cassie let go of Lyssa,but only after pushing her back into the wall first. Her head thumped against the wall which didn't sound very pleasant. Cassie glared at her,taking a step back and clenching her fists.

Lyssa winced a little bit. "You know, your very unnecessarily violent. I'm not even doing anything to retaliate to the first time I was bashed into the wall, and you do it again." She winced rubbing where she had hit the wall.

"You deserve it," Cassie spat at her leaning against a lamp post that had been a few centimeters behind her. "Actually you're pretty lucky that you don't have a few broken bones, a black eye and a nose bleed by now."

"I am actually really grateful that I don't," Lyssa said with a slight nod, although that made her head rush a little. "Would be a pain to explain once I got back home and all that wonderfulness."

Cassie looked at her. "Actually forget the black eye, you're getting one of those." Cassie drew back her fist, took a small step forward and whacked Lyssa in the face.

Lyssa winced at the punch. "Definitely unnecessary violence," she muttered leaning on the wall behind her. She was going to be a mess when she got home...

"What else would I do?" Cassie asked her with a raised eyebrow. "You should know me by now."

Lyssa shrugged lightly. "I should, I do, in fact," she said. "And now that that's established, just how well do you know me?"

Cassie looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Why?" She asked her.

"Just wondering really. Wondering if you know what I was like as a child. Wondering if you know that if I could go back in time and try to change your family getting killed that I probably wouldn't. Wondering if you know exactly why I became friends with someone with Muggle blood in their veins. Wondering really, if you know anything about me at all."

Cassie growled at her, clenching her fists and trying to stop herself from lashing out. "Oh yeah?" Cassie said trying to keep her voice even and failing miserably. "Why did you become freinds with someone who was part muggle?" Her nail dug hard into the palm of her hand.

Lyssa made a hum noise as she thought about how to word her answer. "Mostly it's because when I was 11 I was somewhat of a rebel from my family I suppose, so mostly I did it just to piss my father off, but then as the years went on I discovered that you were someone that would be there for me to fall back on no matter what, even if I didn't reciprocate. So you made a wasted decision back at the Manor. You gave up three people who meant the world to you for one who couldn't care less."

Cassie flung her fist into Lyssa's face. "You. Stupid. Peice. of. Shit." She shouted, her fist making connection to some part of Lyssa with each word. Cassie really had had enough, she was tired of being toldshe was worthless, she was tired of Lyssa giving her shit.

Lyssa was quite glad there was a wall behind her, else she would have fallen down after the first punch, but at the same time the wall was bad as it was hard, uncomfortable wall.

Cassie had so much pent up agression she didn't even knew she had. Years of being there for Lyssa when the girl just let her flounder when she needed someone to catch her when she fell, so that and with what Lyssa had just said caused Cassie to hit pretty hard and quite a lot. Cassie grewback, glanced at Lyssa who looked like she was in pain. Cassie snorted, that was nothing compared to what she'd endured because of her. Cassie turned on her foot, taking a step towards the end of the street.

Lyssa stood there for a moment after Cassie stopped hitting before sliding down the wall to sit on the ground beneath her. She was in all manners of pain and was pretty sure she bleeding even just a little bit. She looked at the other girl, for the life of her wondering why she hadn't just drawn her wand and sent Cassie away from her with it.

Cassie stormed down the street, stopping herself from glancing behind her. After all the pain that Lyssa had caused Cassie throughout the seven years they'd known each other Lyssa deserved what she got. If not a little bit more. Cassie turned into a busier street, wiping her hand on her pants and fervently hoping she never saw the useless excuse of a Gryffindor again.
